"First time here for our anniversary. I like the look of the place. We arrived early for our reservation and they went ahead and seated us. We started with a bottle of wine: Bella Glos Pinot Noir it's one we enjoy. Started off with crab crakes and they were yummy! The waiter had a large table so we didn't get the order taken for a little while. I got the 7oz filet w garlic compound butter and he got the 10oz filet with truffle compound butter both were very good! Sides were asparagus and au gratin potato's. The potato's were perfectly cooked and the potato's oh my, so delicious! Some of the best I've had. We then got the dolce de leche and it was super delicious. Don't get this confused with tres leche cake, it's not a cake. Everything was pretty great!"

"I don't know why anyone would want to pay $5 for a cookie, but here we are. It's pretty much an almost-automated place. I walked in, put in my order, and paid via kiosk. There is an option to put a message and have it gift wrapped. I did both to give to my daughter, even though she was getting the 6, aka one of each. There is a display on the counter that has one of each of the 6 cookies that rotate weekly. That's it! You can buy the cookies as a single or in lots. There are pink, decorative boxes to house the cookies. The 'gift wrap" was a pink box with a message in the upper right corner. I selected "just because" as my box message. You can put a personalized message on your box. When you type it out, it is printed on a sticker that goes inside the lid for an extra dollar. I splurged. I won't do it again. There is more than one location. There is an electronic board on the wall you watch for your order. I waited 10 minutes. My daughter's order never came. She had to go inside to show them it was the correct address and she had paid. They made her a box on the spot, apologized for it.With the efficiency of that place, I'd bet someone grabbed her box before I realized the tote board was on the wall. They don't exactly call your name. Anyway, she's addicted. I'm not. New flavors each week in a rotation. It never gets old. Some people love it. The cookies are too soft and too much sugar for me. Don't let that spoil it for the rest of you! It's a unique experience, for sure."

The food here is always tasty. I love their fajitas. The lunch specials are big and priced right. They have plenty of salsas upon request. Service was excellent. This restaurant smells like a gas station bathroom. The mural on the wall is very unique.

We took our grandsons to dinner at Benvenuti's in Norman and experienced a lovely dinner. When I think of Italian cuisine, I normally don't think of Norman, OK, but Benvenuti's has created a paradigm shift in my thinking.Benvenuti's is definitely some of the best Italian food that you will find in the OKC metroplex. The decor speaks of eloquence. It is rich, charming and comfortable.Complimentary bread, warm butter and olive oil are served. The bread looked like a cibatta roll, but the texture is different than what I'm used to, but it's very good.We started with fried calamari and farnarnia. The calamari was very ordinary. Totally uninspired and bland. We also ordered Farnarnia. Oh my, the farnarnia was to die for. We should have ordered two farnarnia's and skipped the calamari.I ordered lasagna, and was very pleased. The best lasagna I've ever ate. It was hearty, rich, tasteful, just delectable. Loved it being served in a bowl, sitting in sauce. My wife ordered chicken picatta and it was excellent. However, it was served with mashed potatoes which came as a surprise. Must not have read the menu close enough.The service was good, the prices are on the high end of Moderate. My Lasagna was $20 and the chicken picatta was $24. The appetizers were $12 each. The noise levels were acceptable, and the restrauant was busy.We're looking forward to going back..

It's not that Ranch Steakhouse is bad, it's just that it's not a consistent steakhouse. In fact, it was the best steakhouse for me at one point but for the past few years it has not live up to my expectations, especially the most recent visit. I took a friend to Ranch Steakhouse for his belated birthday on 6/23/24. We ordered both of the daily specials, 35 days dry aged ribeye for $100 and 8 oz of wagyu filet for $240. The ribeye came out ZIZZLING hot on the plate. The middle of the steak initially had a slight pink but it self cooked to become well done very quickly. This was so far off from medium rare that I couldn't eat it. I had to trade it for my friend's wagyu filet which came out medium rare. We should have returned the ribeye because the cooking was the most off I have seen at a steakhouse. It was overcooked that some parts of the ribeye were burnt, crunchy, and salty. The worst part of all, we spent $484 plus the additional 20% tip for a pretty AVERAGE dinner. I expect exceptional steaks cooked to perfection, not overcooked steaks when spending that amount of money. Luckily, the bread was still as amazing as before. The same could be said about the rock shrimp. The drinks were great and the dessert was good. Asparagus spears were tiny. Don't know why they couldn't get bigger asparagus. Service was good as always. I've said it before and I will say it again, this will probably be my last visit, sadly, to the Ranch.

Ganache Patisserie is quite a surprise. Stopped by this bakery after having brunch at Hatch Early Mood Food for some excellent desserts. Everything was so good at Ganache. The chocolate mousse is "heaven" for chocolate lovers. It has "texture" with three layers of crunchiness packed in a tiny piece of chocolate. The super crunchy chocolate on top, then a soft middle layer, and a medium crunchy base. Taste-wise, it's divine. The apple turnover is like a "chic" apple pie and tastes exactly like one. It's also very good. I don't know if there's a dessert that's not good at Ganache. You could try but I bet you won't be able to find one. Ganache is also excellent for birthday cakes. The only caveat is it won't be the cheapest in town.

If someone was to serve me any of the food from Taj's buffet line, I wouldn't be able to tell that I am having buffet. That's right! Their food is THAT good. I have been to Taj several years before with classmates from school. For some reason, I couldn't remember much about it...must be the fleeting of memory. I am so glad I stopped by today for lunch. Everything at Taj tasted so delicious. For it being a buffet is mind blowing. My favorites were the chicken tikka masala, eggplant masala, chili chicken, and fried fish. The chicken at Taj was soft as butter and the masala was so creamy. If you like eggplant like I do, then you will LOVE the eggplant masala. My go to coffee spot in Norman. They care about their beans and serving the best cup of coffee: they do French roasted coffee--NOT many places do this! Other places instead opt for the drip coffee process, which is much faster but you lose taste and quality. To my knowledge they do not serve dark roast coffee. Dark roast coffee beans are burnt beans meant to cover up defects in the beans (making it an inferior cup of coffee for the same price). This underscores they care about the beans and serving the great cup of coffee.On top of all of this, they serve in house baked goods. The smells make you feel right at home!

On our drive through Oklahoma we looked up what Oklahoma was known for in regards to food, and fried pies came up. I'd never heard of them (unless this is similar to a hot pocket), so we veered off course to try them.Amazing! I had a spinach and mushroom which was almost like a pot pie in a flaky pastry blanket. So delicious!!My only suggestion would be to take it to go as the dining area is very small and not as comfy as I would like. The space is obviously older and crowded, but the food is yummy!

"I ate at the Shiloh's Restaurant on N. Aspen in Tulsa on Friday evening, 3 November, and again on Sunday afternoon, 5 November. My meals were two of the best home-style restaurant meals I've ever had. I had the roast beef platter on Friday - incredible. The homemade mashed potatoes, rolls, gravy, and beef were out of this world. And the portion was very large. I left stuffed.But not stuffed enough to forego eating there again on Sunday, to celebrate an early Thanksgiving dinner with my son. The Sunday turkey dinner special included a large portion of baked turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, cranberry relish, and one more side. Another incredible meal, and the homemade pecan pie alamode we had for dessert was the best I've every had, and I bake!From the owners, Leonora and Jose', to the host, John, to our server both times, Evelita, everyone was amazingly friendly and did everything possible to make us feel welcome and wanted. I walked in a stranger and went out with new friends. Great food, attentive service, reasonable prices, and a comfortable quiet restaurant with ample parking and clean restrooms - that's what you'll get at Shiloh's!Thank you Evelita and everyone! "I had heard that this was good pizza. I heard right!We had a birthday party for my granddaughter and she chose to have pizza as the food at the party. We had 18 adults and 9 children. Usually it's hard to find a pizza place that both parents and kids like but this was a perfect match for both. All of the pizzas from the cheese to the super supreme were outstanding. The crust had a nice garlic flavor. My favorite was the 3 meat pizza. It was delicious! We did three family meal deals which included cheese bread and a liter of soda with each one. So not only was the pizza delicious it was a good deal too. All of the parents and kids loved it. We will be using them for our future family and friend gatherings. "I was skeptical of this place because breakfast and sushi in one sentence doesn't sound appetizing! But they're open for breakfast and serve different food and then serve sushi for dinner. We came on a Monday because they have bogo half off rolls! And we always love a good deal. It was just us and 1 other table so we got seated right away. The waitress was super nice. We ordered the salmon tower, sunset roll, ichiban roll, hot chick roll, salmon and yellowtail nigiris. She brought out complimentary wonton chips with sweet and sour sauce which we both thought was really weird! But it tasted good, so we ate it all haha. The food came out pretty slow considering we were the only other table. I think it took 30 minutes or more. 2 other parties did come within those times. It looked like there was only 1 sushi chef. Our rolls came out first and then the sushi tower. Everything looked really good! And tasted really good too. We pleasantly enjoyed everything. Our favorite roll, surprisingly, was the ichiban roll. We were skeptical because it has coconut flakes on it but it turned out so yummy! I'm really big on the rice to sushi ratio. Some places put way too much rice. But this place, was perfect! Not much rice which I appreciate. We also really loved the sushi tower and would get both again. This place definitely satisfied my sushi cravings. We will definitely be back! Interested in their other rolls and their lunch specials!"

"FENG CHA! WUT!? Honestly if you've played Pokémon, Feng Cha is like a wild Suicune that you'd never expect somewhere in OK especially outside of Asian district on Classen. For those that don't know what a Suicune is... it's an exotic super rare Pokémon that holds many types of strong traits (tea flavors) while packing a variety of attributes (toppings, besides boba they offer amazing assortment of milk foams)I highly recommend their breeze collection and allll of their foam toppings. A favorite is their matcha breeze & Oolong milk tea + tiramisu foam = chefs kiss. Overall this place is different from others like sharetea, Kung Fu, Teapioca due to their teas tasting more natural and very less artificial.
