"I grew up seeing all ages shows here, and now it's a private event venue. In fact, it was recently the scene for my twenty year high school reunion. It's a perfect place for events such as these - you can get a drink at the bar on your own tab before you head into the fray, whatever that may be. Once you're in the theatre area, there's a nice big bar, an area for the buffet to be set up, a stage, a sound system, and lots of room for tables. The food at our event was outstanding. A carving station, wonderful fruit, veggies, etc. I wasn't surprised, given the fact that the food comes from our friends at Sushi Neko/Lobby Bar, but I think my husband was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. I have no idea what they paid for it, but it was certainly worth whatever I paid for my ticket. I imagine this would be pretty pricey for, say a wedding, but it also seems like the kind of place where they worry about all the details so you don't have to. I'd happily host an event here in the future!"
"I was fortunate enough to attend an absolutely gorgeous wedding here on Saturday night. It was magic, and Park House Events Center absolutely shone. I loved Park House the restaurant, and had many fun times there, but I do think that this spot being an Events Center is its rightful place as a treasure in our city.Architecturally, this place is so beautiful, and also such a great set up for an event location. The bar area is naturally separate from the rest of the restaurant, so a cocktail hour is easily contained within the bar and cocktail area. When it was time to open up the assigned seating, which fanned out from a fun dance floor and DJ area in the middle of the room, we found our seats easily and could see the head table and all the action on the dance floor. Offering a panoramic view of the Myriad Gardens and the city beyond, you get both the view of the park and all it's natural beauty, plus a view of the Colcord, the Devon tower and the rest of the city beyond. I can't think of any other place in the city where you can find such a perfect mix of natural and manmade beauty nearly everywhere you like. If you're a little bit country and she's a little bit rock and roll, this is the wedding and reception venue of your dreams. Add to that features like a great set up for guest drop off and valet parking, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better location for private events in OKC."
"Foodwise, this is a hidden gem. Their food is downright delicious!...BUT their service had issues. I'll start with the food. They serve soul food and BBQ, so good, you no longer have to drive to the east side to get it. We had the rotisserie chicken special, so smoky and juicy, just delicious! Dipped in the bbq sauce it was even better -- sauce super tangy and flavorful. But one cup was not nearly enough for this amount of bird. Two sides came with it. We had their coleslaw, very wet and milky, with a little black pepper, flavor was decent. But it was the skin-on red potato salad that really won us over, made with just the right amount (a touch) of mustard. It was so creamy, with large potato chunks and near perfect flavor. Meal also comes with a can of soda pop and a slice of white bread (oddly completely wrapped in aluminium foil, first I'd ever seen that).Pro tip: Be sure to add a slice of Earthquake cake. It is a unique take on German chocolate cake and downright addictive! Sadly the good times ended at the service. They overcharged us for the chicken, dollars more than we were quoted over the phone. Without telling us they added $2 for using debit card. When I called back for an explanation of the extra charges, the same lady was full of excuses and blamed it all on us. Apparently, we just weren't hearing properly (a car full of us on speaker phone say different). They also left utensils out of our bag, making our picnic in the park very difficult.I am torn on the star rating due to the unprofessional service. So I'll just leave it in the middle at 3 -- service was a 1, and food definitely a 5. But I would definitely give them another chance to prove themselves capable..in a heartbeat!"
"pulled pork nachos that i cannot stop thinking about ! pulled pork that absolutely doesn't need sauce ! haven't had the brisket yet but if it is anything like the other things i've tried i'm sure it will be the best ! the smokechef's name is Jason and you can tell he loves what he is doing cause everything is top notch ! you should try it next time you are in the area!"
"These guys were at the Norman Farmers market today. Tasted and purchased one of their cinnamon rolls. OMG! Dang, one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. No cholesterol rolls! Going back and will buy a box."
"I am so glad we decided to bring a friend out to Social Deck + Dining last night. My fiancé and I had only stopped in once prior for drinks and a snack and loved the atmosphere and the amazing staff! Coming back for dinner we experienced the same hospitality and fantastic cuisine. We started with the hummus tray (which was even better than I remembered) packed with delightfully seasoned veggies and the best naan bread (we actually ended up getting more of it!) For our entrees, I ordered the Garlic Shrimp, my fiancé got the Short Ribs and we got my 3 year old the Mac n Cheese. Love love loved both entrees but my absolute favorite was the Garlic Shrimp!! The shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked. They sat atop a bowl of the most amazing brussel sprouts and mushrooms. It was so good I didn't even want to share with my fiancé (despite our previous agreement..haha!). Our little one ate his ENTIRE bowl of Mac n Cheese and loved every spoonful. Dessert was equally impressive. We got the raspberry lemon chiffon cake and the kiddo got ice cream that came with chocolate syrup, crushed Oreos and strawberries. It was the perfect ending.I think the only negative we experienced was that because the restaurant is so open it can get very loud in there. We were seated beside a table of chatty girls who were Soooo loud. They left pretty quick tho so it wasn't too bothersome. The food and service was well worth overlooking this minor issue. Can't wait to return and try some of the other entrées and possibly brunch one of these days."
"The food was excellent. Five courses served with the first being shared and the remaining four individual. Amazing flavors and creativity. The service was fantastic and the server was one of the chefs. Reservations are required. Not so much as to make sure you get a spot, but to make sure they have an accurate headcount for the evening. The location is a little west depending on where you live but would recommend making the trip. The menu is rotating and will change"
"I've been to Millie's many times as a customer and was surprised to see that they had not been reviewed on Yelp yet. Millie's does it all from catering to providing home-cooked meals ready to go.I primarily use Millie's for the meals-to-go option as sort of a meal prep service. I prep the majority of my food on the weekends due to time constraints. Then I supplement that with a healthy entree, which contains 3 servings, from Millie's which takes ~45 min to cook in the oven. Millie's is really great about providing detailed nutritional information on their products. I sat down and looked through their book which contains nutrition info on each meal so that I knew which meals I'd be interested in. They have a fridge with ready made meals to go, which is really convenient if you just got off work and needed to make a quick meal for you and/or your family. Also, if you call and they don't have a meal you'd like to try in stock, they will make it for you as long as you provide them with enough time to do so. If that wasn't enough, Millie's even allows you to order online. Millie's is open from M-F 11AM-6PM, Saturday 11AM-3PM and closed on Sundays. Be sure to stop by then and check out there great tasting food!"
"Dropped in this morning after seeing this lovely place online! Super cute bakery. The cinnamon roll I ordered was delicious. Flakey, sweet but note over the top, it was obviously fresh. The owners were sweet and excited to see us! Be sure to check this place out."
"This was my first time ordering prepared meals from Chef Curry, and it was my first time at their new location, so I felt it was time to do an update. First of all, the new location is the office building directly next-door to the Belle Isle Library - you can't miss it. Parking is in back and then it is just inside. There is tons of parking, including some 15 minute carryout parking designated for Chef Curry. They still have a fantastic menu of made-to-order items, so don't forget about this as a perfect lunch spot. For meal prep meals, you must order by Friday at midnight, either by calling or online. You must order at least four meals, and then they are ready for pickup the following Monday between 4-6p. For an additional $10 you can have them delivered (if in range). My family opted for the following: - Two orders of the grilled shrimp with brown rice and veggies - One order of turkey bolognese on egg noodles (for kids) - One order of turkey bolognese on Zoodles (for mom and dad) - One order of grilled chicken- Side orders of green beans, sweet potatoes and roasted carrots- Two side salads with ranch All of this was $96. During a busy week playing catch up after the ice storm, and since my fridge hasn't been fully restocked and ready for cooking yet, this was a God-send. My kids loved everything, and so did my husband and I. I could tell I was eating healthy, although it didn't taste like diet food. Just lower in sodium, nothing fried, not too much butter, etc. I felt better eating this way, perhaps due in part to the fact that there is built-in portion control. I don't need meal prep every week, but I may do this once a month to help us get through a busy week. Highly recommend, and hope you enjoy it as much as we did."
"Food is tasty and fresh. The availability of a weekly schedule for daily featured dishes on their website is convenient and helpful. I ordered muffins for a group and they were delicious and popular."
"I've known the ladies who run Prairie Gypsies for years, but until recently I'd never ordered anything from them. A few weeks ago, I thought I had food sorted for an event, but at the last minute I realized it wasn't going to work out. This event was on a Monday night, and on Friday at around 3p I realized it just wasn't going to happen. I co-work at Halcyon, so I was right next door. I walked over, talked to Debbie for about ten minutes and she had me all fixed up. I saved money by providing all my own plates, napkins and cutlery, and by picking it up myself. Debbie made it easy by providing only items that didn't need to be kept warm, and she provided all the trays and tongs. We picked it up, set it out, and watched our guests enjoy hummus and veggies, queso and chips, a fancy cheese and jam spread, wonderful little flaky pinwheels of deliciousness, and a tower of delicious brownies and other sweets. They made this so easy for us, and really saved our event on short notice. I will definitely use them again for both work and personal events."

This is an awesome theater to hold an event and they had the OCU Law Innocence Project Wrongful Conviction Day Dinner there where exonerees got to speak about their courageous stories about being wrongfully convicted and how they worked with the Innocence Project to be cleared. Plenty of space for a dinner-like event or show. They also had a silent auction type of event in an internal lobby setup before the main room. Neko sushi is also next door. Recommended!

Park House Event Center is an amazing venue in downtown OKC! I loved Park House Restaurant when it was around as well and was sad when it closed to become a permanent event center. I have been to several events at Park House since then and every time I am reminded of the stunning views of Myriad Gardens, downtown buildings, and people watching from the floor to ceiling windows. You won't be disappointed having or attending an event here!

I placed an order via Ubereats. Usually, when I go get BBQ, I tend to run into an issue with salty ribs, but the ribs here are very bland. Also, there wasn't enough meat on the ribs, just primarily bone, so I finished this meal easily, and I was still hungry. And the BBQ sauce was similar to the ones at a store. For the sides, the mac n cheese was just noodles with a bit of cheese sauce, while the potato salad tasted like the ones from the deli. Yeah, it was a sad lunch.

Keith!!! Server of the year. Amazing food, very reasonable prices and the menu is sized perfectly for brunch. We had all the things during our first visit...bubbles and Bloody Mary cocktails, that blueberry donut - if you remember a place called Applewood's, the donut is a blueberry version of their apple fritter. Everything we ordered was fantastic! Big fan of the burrata board and bacon jam omelette.

I had Millie's Table cater an event last night and the attendees are still talking about the food today! The meeting facilitator was very impressed with the service, cost, and quality of menu items, and everyone was happy to have something new and different from their standard meeting fare! We will continue to call on Millie's Table for catering events!

"Have had Hello Catering several times. I work in a physicians office and we have several lunches each year catered. Good food and the have a good variety of menu items to choose from. Would definintley recommend them to everyone."
"Amazing!!! The food and service can't be beat. I'm so happy we had them for our event. Reasonable prices too!"
"Image Catering changed my life. It's the best food I have ever put into my body. It made my muscles strong and my hair shiny. I love Image Catering so much."
"Robert was a nice and helpful guy until I met him he was very sarcastic with some of my guest, including the groom. He was careless with pouring drinks and left one of my linens extremely stained. He also slapped me with a suprise charge at the end of the night. I would have not minded paying that if I would have known in advance."
"Cosabella Kitchen is amazing! Our friend group had booked a private pasta class and had a great experience! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the food was wonderful! In the pasta class, the party is responsible for the pasta portion while their team prepares the rest of the four course meal. We had an incredible salad, fantastic and tender lemon chicken and meatballs and the sweetest chocolates for dessert. Would absolutely go back for one of their other classes!"
"Wow! Do you want all your shaved ice/snow cone dreams to come true!? Search no further and take a trip to The Ice Shop. I went years ago with a friend when they first opened and I had a fantastic experience. Now, years later, I have returned and had my mind blown! They have it ALL!You can get a simple snow cone (which includes 1-3 flavors) or party hard with some awesome toppings and ice cream/sorbet fillings! They have their own menu of signature concoctions that honestly all look amazing. The owner was brilliant when she came up with their combinations. My 2 friends and I all tried different items but were all equally happy with our selection. I chose the Oklahoma Sunset and my friends chose the Unicorn and the Fineapple. So so so delicious. I plan to come again very soon to try more of their amazing stuffed shaved ice. The mango sorbet is a perfect addition to the shaved ice. I would probably chose a sorbet over regular ice cream (which I tried on my first visit) but that's just a personal preference. COVID tip: they are currently just running the drive through but they are extremely effecient and take both card and cash. I highly highly recommend and will be returning pronto!"
"Happy Food exceeded all expectations! We had a bachelorette party of 12 girls in which she handled all decorations and also provided finger foods, lunch, snacks, drinks and so much more. She made the weekend such a stress free time for all of us girls. We will be using her again. Thank you, Happy Food Kenny"
"Good food, great staff, and terrific organizational skills. One of their cater waiters, Marty, is a personal favorite -- charming, professional, and always efficient.Very pleased!"
"I recently hired Ned's catering to help with an event I was hosting. They came highly recommended from the venue I was using and were able to offer me a competitive price (and believe me, I had priced a lot of places). From my very first call, Cassie was so helpful and fun to work with. Closer to the event, I had a very helpful sit-down meeting with Ned, even though he was in the middle of several major events surrounding tornado clean-up and fundraising. He still made me feel like my small event was a big deal to them. Their staff onsite was excellent. They provided food, bar staff and general waitstaff for our 200+ person event. Their staff was friendly, helpful and polite, and had a great sense of humor. The food was outstanding and my only regret is that (as the hostess) I only got to try a few bites of the food during the event! I would work with Ned, Cassie and the staff any time, on any project, and I look forward to my next opportunity to do so!"
"Never a big believer or supporter of pre made dishes until this place!Holy cow is their stuff delicious! Their chicken pot pie my husband and I die for! We get a larger one just to have the leftovers to eat for several dinners. Their bread is pretty good also fresh!I also recommend their chicken spaghetti it's wonderful not too rich it's just right - perfect for a small gathering. One thing I've been meaning to try is their twice baked potatoes for the price who wouldn't want to buy delicious ones rather than spending the long process of making them?!"
"Walk Up Order Window (??) It's 100+ degrees outside and there's a walk-up window..... with outdoor seating. I mean come on, it's Oklahoma where eating outdoors in the elements is not comfortable most of the year! The Oklahoma wind pretty much eliminates this the rest of the year. We won't be back to this location. I will say the food was good, what didn't fall onto my lap while eating it in the car. And the staff seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and their offerings and was very pleasant."
"The quality and taste of the items for our Wine party were amazing. It was the perfect touch to the party!!"
"F O O D. T R U C K. We caught them at Iron Monk in Stillwater, OK. I enjoyed their food, but the service experience was painful: Their food truck kitchen was the only one serving up dinner at Iron Monk that evening. Their small kitchen just wasn't able to keep up with demand the tap room. Really long wait times tainted the entire experience. -----Once we got our food we loved the pretzel + dip. I really liked my BBQ style pizza. Others at the table enjoyed their food, too. I hope to stumble across this food truck again. Good food. Good flavors."
"They catered in a breakfast bar for us at work. The food was excellent and the presentation was more than we could ever have hoped for. We were all very impressed! I would highly recommend for any event! This caterer does not disappoint. Nice work!"
"I contacted The Greene Room to create a holiday meal for family. DeCleasha was very responsive and accommodating and willing to prepare all the special dishes we wanted (plus a few more). DeCleasha created a fantastic and beautiful center of the plate (spiral ham) and numerous delicious side dishes, rolls and even dessert. The portions were extremely generous and the order was delivered punctually and ready to enjoy. We planned this entire feast start to finish remotely and via email. Based on how perfect it all turned out you'd think we knew each other for years! Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Chef DeCleasha and The Greene Room for baked goods and fine catering."
"I tried this place on a whim from DoorDash. I feel this place could have potential. I ordered the smoked brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans and a smoked peach cobbler and their peach cobbler tea. From the moment I opened the back I was overwhelmed with smoke. The smoke from the peach cobbler tasted like smoked meat. The baked beans and brisket lacked flavor really and the Mac and cheese was gooey and over cooked like the noodles were sticking together and it tasted like velveeta and rotel packed in a cup. I will give them a chance in the future but as of now the food is not my favorite unfortunately. I got my order in a timely manner and it was packed perfectly"
"The salsa is okay. The people are nice. But....I bought enchiladas from the farmer's market and they were terrible. Probably the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. I hope they fix their flavors. It reminds me of frozen tv dinners, but worse."
"We had a private party here in December. It was just drinks and appetizers. The staff treated us like friends rather than clients. The appetizers showed creativity and the cocktails were outstanding. Parking is a little confusing, but I doubt I listened to the instructions anyway. I can still taste the dirty gin martini."
"We love summer snow! What could be better than a pina colada snow cone on a hot day? One with pineapple Dole Whip mixed in! A dreamsicle snow cone with vanilla mixed in is a close runner up. My kids love the gummy bears snow cone - it's loaded with gummies. No summer is complete without a trip here."
"Had a fantastic cooking class at The Tasting Room on a Thursday night. The class is run by Chef Kurt Fleischfresser of The Coach House fame. I attended a class entitled "Chilling and Grilling," which, as you probably guessed, included grilled dishes that were hot and cold.We arrived at 6 pm and had our choice of 2 long tables that seated about a dozen. There were also 6 or 8 seats right at the cooking station, but those were already taken. I imagine they are sought after, I will definitely try to get one of them in the future. Our class was supposed to be partially outside and partially inside, but the unseasonably cold weather coupled with the rain prevented us from going outside. But, we had a TON of great dishes, including: chopped pork and grilled pineapple sandwiches, salmon and cantaloupe salad, grilled shrimp, lemon pound cake, beer braised bratwurst, okra stuffed with jalapeno and wrapped in bacon, and grilled peach salsa. I know I am forgetting some dishes, but you get so much, you absolutely get your money's worth. There were 6 wines that were paired with the dishes, and they were all fantastic. You get a list of the wines, so you can take them to your local wine shop if you want to buy some of the bottles later.Chef Fleischfresser walks you through the entire preparation of every dish. They are created the morning of the event, so you don't get a recipe card, but you can take notes. Also, he is answering questions throughout the entire class, so if there is something you miss, feel free (feel encouraged, really) to ask. He buys the ingredients at a grocery store. The ingredients for our class came from Homeland. I like this because they are all products we could go buy ourselves, they weren't products only available to professional chefs or restaurants. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. We talked quite a bit with our tablemates, as well as people at the other table. The cost was $78 with the wine pairing, which may seem like a lot, but it was 3 hours of fun and fantastic food. I think it was about $15 less without the wine. I'd absolutely recommend attending classes held at The Tasting Room, I most certainly will be back."
"Chef Julien recently catered an event for the Earth Day Sponsors and volunteers, held at the Discovery Museum. He provided BBQ chicken that was outta this world, pulled pork, potato salad, rolls, coleslaw, vegetable trays and dip, and really good BBQ beans. He is a self taught chef. By viewing his website, looks like he cooks up a mean soul food experience. Though I cannot attest to that, I can guarantee, he put together a delicious BBQ menu for us.Good food, friendly service. Great for when you don't want to heat up your kitchen from those hot Reno days!"
"Absolutely not the same as the other Edmond's Joeys. First off the ambiance not the quality of food is not the same. It's half the menu, the waitress could tell I was disappointed since I really wanted the power bowl and told me they didn't even have the ingredients to make it. She wasn't very Pleasant and really could have cared less. The food at the other location is really good, this one not so much. Very disappointed! Crab cake was undercooked"
"Daphne.... Thank you so much for the awesome meals we have had over the last two weeks. Not only is the food marvelous, my family now enjoys meals together since the atmosphere isn't as hurried since the meal is already prepared. The liver and onions are a must to do again. The veal was perfection and salmon was gone in two meals. I love the way we packaged several servings of veggies separate. With some meals the separate veggies made it to the dinner table a la carte like in a restaurant. I would never have time to make 3 or 4 different sides. We all look forward to our next cooking adventure. I have a few recipes I'd like you to make. I am so glad I found you! You have blessed us with you gift of cooking!Cathy Leichter"
