"Our Favorite place to go to drop off the grid for a weekend . Great camping places . Drag races . We take our RV , Atv and dogs. Riding the trails and river bottom . Everyone is respectful and friendly. After dark great live music and good company at the Outdoor Pub . We enjoy going in the Fall , build a camp fire and look at the stars , go for a midnight ride on the beach ."
"Great place to stop while road tripping. It's reasonably priced and a beautiful area. Sadly someone left a bunch of trash at the shore line but overall a very well kept rv campground."
"My husband and I just got back from Lake Carl Blackwell. It was my first time. We camped with our camper. We were parked at Scissortail Lane. Awesome time! Bathrooms were clean, grounds were well kept. No loud music or people, our area was full. I had a great time. Will definitely go back!! The staff was great."
"We stayed here 7 days for a softball tournament.. we came all the way from CALI. Softball fields were literally a mile away. Excellent place to stay for an extended period of time. It has a catch and release pond, playground, mini golf, laundry room, bathrooms/showers, bar and grill, pool and hot tub (no kids allowed in hot tub). We met some nice workers here as well. Front desk has fresh coffee and sweets every morning for free. I was very sad to leave but will definitely recommend this place to anyone %"
"Adventure abounds 2.5 miles east of I-35 on 15th street in Edmond. Here, the street ends and Arcadia Lake begins. This 194 acre spot is one of the best kept secrets in the OKC metro area. A trip to Lake Arcadia can be a modest affair, staying in the car driving through the park around sunset, maybe walking out on the dock watching the sun fade away for the day, or it can be an all day adventure with boating and picnics and barbecues. Early on in 2020 we realized we needed to renew our park pass for Lake Arcadia as we could see this may be a loooong year (boy, we were right on the money). Eighty dollars will get a vehicle in the park for a year if you are an OKC resident. Edmond residents can buy a year park pass for a 20% discount per year (about $64 dollars). This gets you unlimited entry into the park. I'd highly recommend it. I've always said one of my most favorite parts of living in Oklahoma has been the celebration in the sky at the end of daylight ringing in that night is upon us. I'm not from Oklahoma and I will say that the sunsets here are second to none. This park, especially the dock facing west next to the boat ramp is one of my most favorite places to watch the relay of the daylight sun passing into the Southern Hemisphere. Just as dusk settles in wildlife really begin to peek out from the woods. If you have kiddos and can manage to work in a drive through Arcadia at dusk, they'd love to see all the deer (definitely deer), and maybe turkeys, cranes, eagles, scissor-tailed flycatchers, and hawks that come around when most of the all-day lake goers have left for the day. Treat yourself to a sunset here and learn why it's worth every bit of $80 to get to come here as often as you want. October 2020"
"Have not used amenities, but see people going to the indoor pool! Going west in the spring, and OKC a pass thru... this park has storm shelters, the chances of needing them...but as my mom always said, better to have and not need , than to need and not have! Not beautiful , right off I40, close to lots, level spots with picnic tables, Buffalo on site! Believe it or not they have homemade muffins, coffee and local newspapers for free at the office in am! The office has local info, shelves of books to take, and give, laundry ...etc. nice place to stop and go, and have a muffin! Nice people on staff ...and again, a storm shelter!"
"Today we went driving through several of Edmond's city parks where you can fish, swim, camp amongst other numerous activities. We decided to start with Arcadia Lake. There are several spots to camp, which is what we are primarily interested in seeing. There are four parks that make up Arcadia Lake as a whole. Central State Park, Spring Creek Park, Scissortail campground, and Edmond Park. We started at Central State Park and then quickly moved onto Edmond Park. We were more impressed by what we saw at Edmond Park vs what we saw at the larger Central State Park. The campsites definitely have more space and a more private feel to them. And some of them are safely located near the water. Each campground also has bathroom facilities, although they weren't super clean (it's a campground so they are never immaculate) and they did smell. Each site has parking, one cement table, a fire ring and trash cans. My husband and I both feel that the sites here are more pleasant because they have more trees, they are more spacious and they have more grassy areas."
"I found this lake by looking at my find friends app trying to locate what was around my husbands work location! The lake is smaller but big enough for the locals to bust out the jet skis and boats! They have a camping area for rvs with 10 spots. They are full hookups ! Sewer , water , & electric. 25$ per nigh or 125$ a week! Great deal! But not every spot has a table . No rv spots have grills or firepits .There is a drop off box for the camping fees , fishing , boating etc. I believe tent camping is right on the water. The lake is nothing to go out of the way for but , if your needed to park for a few days or weeks or overnight this lake does the job!"

I am so glad that Lake Arcadia exists! It serves as a perfect nature getaway for the weekend and it's practically in OKC's backyard. This particular part of the lake Arcadia park system is to the south west of the lake. Today, my infant son and I enjoyed the relatively new spring creek trail. This trail was so nice! It is a multi-use completely paved trail. It is wide enough for walkers to have their own designated lane as well as cyclists their own. Out and back this trail is a good easy 5 miles. It is amongst the trees with glimpses of the creek every. Ow and then. If you want to be a bit more adventurous, get off the beaten path. Yes, go explore those unpaved wild looking hiking trails that branch off from the path most taken. Although this trail is all I enjoyed today, there are many nice shaded picnic tables and grills that could make a great location for a get together. There is also a disc golf course here, although I'm not sure how often it is used. There were several people fishing in this area too. There are lots of ways this park can help you enjoy nature. What are you waiting for? Go check it out!

Great little RV park. Easy access, nice staff, swimming pool and hot tub, as well as maintained dog park. I'm really surprised that the bison don't stink. We travel with stock dogs and they haven't even realized that they're there...even when we're playing at the dog park in the same field. At night, they have armed security on the premises. The wifi is not very strong and cable can be patchy, but we don't depend on either, so I won't dock any stars.

Read about this campground on another site and it was at the perfect stopping point in our journey from IA to TX. There are 10 pull-through RV slabs with FULL hookups, each are long enough to line up two RVs and tow vehicles. Most of the slabs are level, but a couple have settled a little either forward or backward. The is one picnic table and rain shelter at the front of the RV parking area, next to the pay box and pricing sign. Nice view of the lake and a wide open sunset. Lots of room to run. I hope they plant more trees here. It looks so plain with out them.

"Absolutely amazing experience! This is hands-down the best campground in or around the Oklahoma City area. The facilities are emaculate, with lots of trails and fun, hidden decor throughout. The owners actively engage with campers and are constantly improving the park. I can't say enough about this beautiful place! Thank you so much Tamara, Jack, and company for the great time! -Blaine"
"Tommy and Tammy went above and beyond with us. Had van problems and they took us into town so we could get the parts needed to fix us up. You don't find people like them anymore. We are very appreciative. Campsites and facilities were clean. Very quiet park."
"A beautiful and quiet spot.Remote quiet atmosphere Very few sites along a lovely lake shore Simple check in with resident property owners cell service not reliable"
"If you like RV camping and fishing, this is a good place. I think the Eagle viewing are is gone, the dirt bikes across the river ran them out of the Eagle sanctuary."
"OLT is a special place for us, D and T. We were among the first families to join this club when the owners started building it in the early 90s. We were here for the first flush of the first toilet... the big concrete slab that eventually became the clubhouse... the original swimming pool perched atop the rocks. We made many good friends here. Our two boys, M and A grew up here, in an environment of friends, warmth and safety. In the 90s, it was small and very rural. Now it's like a little town. We were here almost ten years before we moved away in 2000. Many of our OLT friends from the old days did, too, or passed on. We came through for a visit this week and had a wonderful time. This place will always be a big part of our family history..."
"Late one afternoon when we were visiting Medicine Park, we stopped in the Healthy Hippie Cafe to enjoy a few cocktails. There were two tables occupied but we opted to sit at the bar since we were only having drinks. We immediately noticed how organized and clean the place is! We enjoyed great beverages, live music, and friendly service here. What a neat, low-key establishment in the small town of Medicine Park! Be sure to stop in here if you are in the area."
"We stayed here with some friends this weekend. It's a nice set up for RVs, and the kids loved the Wibit and the pool. We were annoyed that our pool wristbands expired at 1pm since we weren't told ahead of time. However, we really enjoyed our time here."
"Wonderful owners! Beautiful place!!! Very close to downtown Oklahoma City... central to everything!"
"New park that is very clean and has pathed sites. Nice office & well stocked store. It has a covered bque area and fire rings at every site. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Owner thanked us as we left the park. Will stay again if in that part of country."
"Huge and spacious campground for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether it's fishing or swimming, there's plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. This is not to say it's the best spot for fishing or swimming."
"This a large lake fronting park just outside of edmond which has a lot to offer recreation wise. This is a for fee facility that has massive diverse parking scattered around various locations within the park. truck parking close by the boat ramps, car parking by the picnic beach and playground areas and on peak days- fourth of july, labor day etc., they make a particular effort to monitor them. Generally speaking there will always be parking somewhere in the park. This is a man made lake-like most lakes in oklahoma- that offers excellent scenic vistas-if you are camping that sunrise/sunset will be amazing-great fishing and decent boating. There is something for nearly everyone - low risk beaches for swimming, excellent walking paths, new picnic areas and children's playgrounds, functional restrooms, superior boat ramps, and lots of wildlife especially deer and waterfowl. Typically there will be bald eagles in the winter. Campers need to beware raccoons, picnickers need to look out for maniacal squirrels. It's all very well maintained. Well for the most part-every once in a while you'll come by on the heels of a party weekend and some sites will be trashed. All in all this is a real gem of a park right next door to the edmond, and is well worth a visit."
"This rv Park has nice concrete pads for your rv , travel trailer or fifth wheels. I never meet the owner but the camp host Donna is such a sweet woman! As of June the rates per night $20 , week $90 and if I recall correctly $360 for a month. They have full hook ups and great WiFi. We enjoyed our time in Seminole and would definitely come back if we're in the area"
