"I love this place. I will say it is old and dingy but the food is great and the people who own and run it are friendly and accommodating. I would be doing a disservice if I didn't say the main draw here for us the catfish. I catch and prepare blue cat myself and I am extremely picky and skeptical of anyone else handling and cooking of catfish but here it is literally always the best I ever have. I just wish I knew how to reproduce it. Also this place would be a five if the facilities were better"

"I came in on a Tuesday afternoon around 5:15 pm. There wasn't many people in there so I was nervous. My family is from Louisiana so I know good crawfish and Cajun food. The flavors did not disappoint! The base to the red beans and rice was very flavorful!! The sausage wasn't the one I would have used but still good. The crawfish was tender and well cooked. I loved it!! My server was kind and quick, always keeping my water full. The restaurant was quaint but lovely! Would definitely be back next time I'm passing through town :)"

"I've always got a hankering for good Cajun, so when I found out about The Big Easy New Orleans Cafe, I was so excited to give it a try!Let me just say that this place HAS IT GOIN' ON. Amazing cocktails, amazing hush puppies (cleverly named 'Shut Up Dogs), amazing entrees, and amazing service! I had the Blackened Pork Chops and was in complete bliss with each bite. The savory blackened seasoning and sauce were truly the stars of the dish! They had so much flavor packed in that I found myself tempted to lick the plate clean. My husband had the Ribeye New Orleans and he was one happy camper! I mean, how can you beat a steak covered in a creamy Cajun seafood sauce? Answer, you can't!I can't wait to return and make my way through more of the menu!"

"Pier 88 is soooo good! My personal favorite the snow and king crab legs in the pier 88 sauce medium spice level. Add a pound of shrimp to that and I'm the happiest girl alive. I always ask for the boil to have just corn as the potatoes are bland and bleh. I have been to this location and the Nichol Hills location and this one is so much better. The crab legs are much bigger, sweeter, and flavor of the sauce is better. I don't know why as they're both the same restaurants. If I had gone to the Nichol Hills location first I would have never went back. I have been to Pier 88 three times now in the last three weeks. They do have a bar so get a cold one with your seafood. I read a review where it says the onion rings are really good here. They're not. Do not waste your money. Maybe my opinion is an unpopular opinion but yeah, I don't think they're good. Besides snow crab legs, king crab legs, and shrimp, that is all I've had here and that's all I'll continue to eat. The corn is a must try. It's so flavorful with the sauce. I would highly recommend asking for a cup of lemon wedges and butter. The lemon cleans your pallet, gives it a little tang, and the butter adds a little extra to the food. If you're going to eat and indulge, might as well clog your arteries. I'm counting down the days to go back for the fourth time hopefully before or on Father's Day. Oh yeah I'm not a father, but I get to enjoy the food and day too right. I saw a man sit at the bar by himself and eat and that is something that is so cool and I'd totally do cause finding a seafood lover to dine with is hard! Luckily I'm married to one so we have been able to go a lot. I tried their chocolate molten lava cake and it's awful. Don't waste your money on that. Otherwise, go ahead and try everything for yourself!"

"Man, what a phenomenal meal. In a great, clean atmosphere. With a feeling of getting our moneys worth! Coco and Bill were absolutely amazing hosts and took careful care of everything we ordered. The fried catfish was super fresh and absolutely delicious, and the order for crab boil that we got tasted amazing. It was not super greasy, not super fishy or old juices/seasonings, and it most definitely did not feel like it was cobbled together at the last minute from stuff lying around. Probably one of the best crab boils I've had from spanning across the states from Hawaii to NY. Definitely will be returning back! Thanks ya guys for the great meal!!"

"The wings are so good, Actually. we got Cajun flavored. The wings are tossed in a bag, which is such a genius idea. The sauce gets all over them. Lots of sauce, delicious. almost better than Wingstop honestly. I got the country low boil and so did my friend and we both loved it. I got medium and felt like it's not that hot, like if you like Louisiana hot sauce, I would get hot. my friend got mild and did not find that hot either. Altogether, this was a lot of food for two people, but it was worth it. Also we went during happy hour and drinks were like four bucks. They pour just right! worth every dollar.Service is not bad. Very relaxed environment."

"I didn't go there myself yet, but a friend did and brought me back some leftovers.Yum! Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya!I found the menu online (but no phone number! What kind of restaurant has no phone number?) but I'm not knocking any stars off for the lack of phone number. I am anxious to get there and try a shrimp po boy with red beans and rice. I love a good red beans anad rice.The place was built by the owner over the last 4 years and he made it one crazy looking place. It is definitely a unique place that will soon be a popular stop for people traveling the I-35 route through Oklahoma City. And they won't be going just to take some craxy awesome selfies! They will go for the food and the ambience.This is one place I am eager to take my grown kids when they are available (some are in the NW corner of the US and I bet they miss Southern Cajun cooking!).I hope to see lots of people there, I won't mind waiting."
