"The Jones Assembly is the pride & joy of downtown OKC - not only does it operate as a concert venue, club/lounge and hangout spot (with multiple full bars), but also serves great brunch, lunch and dinner. Their lunch options are great, especially their salads (as well as the deviled eggs appetizer), and they give you a cool leather placemat with silverware to utilize while dining. Service is also very prompt and attentive (especially from the employees that work at the bar). At night, it becomes possibly the most active location in the Film Row District. Definitely worth a stop if you want to get the full OKC experience!"
"Let me get this out of the way: Cafe Antigua is better today than Cafe Kacao has been in the past three or four visits I've made there. And it's not a particularly close comparison.I've been visiting Antigua for years. I should say that I have a very specific type of experience that I'm after when I dine there. I like their coffee, but I never get any kind of coffee drink except for black coffee. Therefore, I can't comment on that part of their business. When I visit Antigua, I typically meet someone for a visit and conversation. That convo may be business-related, strictly personal, or somewhere in between. Regardless, I'm going there because of the visit first and the food second. And that's why I never object to suggestions of an Antigua visit (except on the weekends, when it gets busier than I want to experience). It's always good food, an ambiance that's conducive to conversation, and a clean, comfortable place to spend some time.During this last visit, I had the Machaca (eggs with peppers, onions, tomatoes, and shredded beef). It was terrific as it was. There was no hot sauce on the table, and there was no need for it. The refried black beans and foil-wrapped flour tortillas were also delicious. My colleague had the Migas, and they looked great (she stated that they were her favorite meal). The server was attentive, and the price was totally reasonable. There's literally no reason not to go to Cafe Antigua. They serve their full menu all day, and there's definitely something for everyone."

"I love the little cozy speakeasy vibe. We got seated quickly, ordered some waters and asked our waitress about some nonalcoholic drinks. She suggested a virgin mojito which was so good! We also got a cesar salad with chicken and a side of grits. Both were great. Sarah our waitress was truly wonderful and provided great service and recommendations. The live Jazz music was a nice touch. While enjoying our meal and the music we also observed another waiter "Sterling" who was exceptionally respectful and hard working. We will definitely be back to Bourbon St."
"Great food and service, perfect Sunday brunch. The Biscuit Debris was excellent, definitely worth the stop when in OKC!"
"Loved the food and ambiance and the coffee. The staff was very nice and the food was freshly prepared. The lox sandwich was delicious and weirdly the eggs were a good addition and kept me real full all day until dinner. The espresso was served as a sidecar and that was a pleasant surprise. I would have loved it if it was open earlier as I had to wait in car until 7am but would absolutely return again!"
"I got the bacon lovers omelet with the biscuit mushroom and bacon gravy. And I have been here before so I wanted to show my boyfriend the chocolate gravy! He got the chicken friend steak breakfast with biscuits and chocolate gravy. Our server Joy was beyond nice and friendly. She came to our table with smile and we loved that. She was attentive and I can tell she likes what she does. I asked for my hash browns extra crispy/ well done and I am glad I made that choice. I love me some crispy hash browns. They were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The bacon lovers omelette had so much bacon in it. You definitely get a good deal with how much food you get. I normally am not a biscuit fan, but their biscuits are so freaking good! You can tell they are homemade by how moist they are. I was here over 10 years ago and I will come back more often and get my biscuit fix. Our bill came out to $29.32 so not bad !"
"Very well run with superb service great menu and a wine list parking is a challenge but well worth it"
"Spent Saturday night at The National and finished off a wonderful stay with a great breakfast this morning at Tellers! Our server Ashley was so attentive and even able to keep up with my wife's diet coke, and my coffee, of which we both drink a lot of! lolFood was an excellent American breakfast, and especially the bacon. Also split a side of pancakes. Won't need to eat until tomorrow! Thanks to Ashley and team for a fantastic start to our day! Very much appreciate people who are professionals at their job!"
"First and foremost thank you La Baguette for helping my wife and I have one of the very best Valentines evenings out we have had in a long time. The atmosphere was palpable on Friday night, everyone was happy. The patrons, the servers, all other staff...a perfect environment, along with the decor. Our dinner was spectacular. The pecan encrusted trout was really well prepared and delicious. I had the steak poivre with scallops, asparagus and potatoes. All delicious and perfectly cooked! We got lucky and had some of the chocolate mousse cake and chocolate covered strawberries, both great as well. I appreciate the behind the scenes effort, and accommodations with the flowers. My wife loved them and was very surprised when we were seated. Kenny was kind and fun, we appreciate his taking care of us as well."
"Sid's is the home of the smashed onion burger and it was tasty! The service was great and very friendly. The location is very small, as I counted a small number of tables inside but they do have a long counter you can sit at and watch them make these burgers fresh to order! There's also outside (air conditioned!!!) enclosed seating as well as some outdoor tables. Very cute spot. Definitely check it out if you're in El Reno!"
"This place looks like a hole in the wall and it is. It's also a great diner. The name says it simply and that how the food is cooked. I judge a breakfast place on how I order my eggs. If I say over medium and they don't know or look at me funny then I just say over easy and I get over medium. This place knew. Service was great. The decor was dated and old but I like the rustic look. Plus it's in Norman Oklahoma and that's how many places are. The food was really good and felt fresh. Eggs were cooked perfect. The link sausage had that skin that pops when you bite down and was flavorful. The oatmeal was thick. Some people like it more runny or with milk but I enjoyed it. It felt like it coated your ribs. Overall you shouldn't pass through and not get breakfast there. Great place to get a simple home cooked breakfast."

So glad I attended a retirement celebration here and could up my review from three stars to five. (Albeit that previous review was from 5 years ago). I love this place! We met for drinks (with about twenty of us trickling in) in the bar area around five o'clock. Bartenders could not have been more helpful or accommodating or quick! I tried the Dagwood Dixie. Good sipping cocktail. Other standouts that got ordered again and again from the group were the Jones 75 (with just the right amount of kick) and Disco Nap (a berry-tequila drink). There was plenty of seating in the lounge area for us.We then went to the patio/deck area for dinner. We had a large table around the tree and another picnic sized table. Our waiter (our only server) was great, explaining the new changes to the seasonal menu and answering a lot of questions. By now, our group had grown to about 26. For the large size group, I thought service was great. We were not in a hurry at all. Around our table we tried the Dips & Spreads (always good), the Roasted Brie and the Pot Pie Croquettes. The trio dips is always a great bet but the baked brie was remarkable. I thought the pot pie bites were OK--they tasted like Thanksgiving. They were not the favorite around the table though.I ordered a glass of wine with dinner and chose the Truffle Mafaldine. Delicious. Others had the breaded pork and the scallops. The Steak Frites dish came out a little too well done. Frites were delicious though. While we dined and chatted, the dining room inside filled up. It was cool sitting on the deck because we had the outdoor feel and could see into the kitchen area. They were busy all night! The deck, however, remained uncrowded. :)So glad I returned for this experience. I have friends and colleagues who love this place. I would totally dine here again the next time I'm in OKC!!(Parking garage is close by and only $5 but upon leaving at 8:30 PM, I didn't have to pay. This was a weeknight though.)Almost forgot about dessert: we sampled the Cruller Intentions and the banoffee flavored dessert. While the first dessert, a split donut with a large slab of apple was good (tasted like the state fair in the best possible way), the banoffee dessert was amazing. I just had a sample but the coffee ice cream (shaped like a coffee bean) with the super moist banana-chocolate cake along with the caramel sauce was unbelievable. The caramel sauce was amazing! If you see caramel on any of the upcoming seasonal menus, order it!

This is my first time at Sunnyside Diner. Mostly because I'm not a huge diner fan, but tried it anyway. Walked in and the place was clean, service was kind and we were immediately seated. The guy came to take our order, which he got completely wrong, but he was kind about getting it corrected! Our correct order finally came out and boy was it freaking delicious. The chicken fried steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Maybe the best chicken friend steak I've ever had! I also love have they offer Afro Pop (black owned soda company) and they have freshly made pies! Definitely recommend this place for a nice meal!

I reluctantly stand by the belief that they have the best coffee beans in the city. This also means most any coffee drink you could order from them is guaranteed to be great. They have a really nice seasonal specials menu. I do love the reusable jars for to go drinks.However... I've become horribly picky about the ambiance at my local coffee shops, and Elemental stresses me OUT whenever I visit. It's always busy and feels very regulars/cool kids-centered, and I always feel like a weird outsider. It does serve as a great place to do homework, but I don't think the chairs are comfy for hanging out. The bench seats are cool though, and sitting outside can be peaceful and beautiful on a good day. Maybe this is a place that's much better at an off peak time when it's less bustling. The food menu is quite good, and I should try more of it. The seasonal specials menu is usually posted on Facebook/Instagram, but it can be hard to find sometimes.I've accepted that I need to just walk in for beans (they are helpful and kind when giving advice on the beans when requested) and get out. I have friends who are devoted to Elemental, and they have made themselves regulars who sit at the bar which I could see becoming a great experience.

Flint has remodeled the entire restaurant and has recreated the menu with so many delicious new meals. I think the remodel looks absolutely amazing and their new meals have not disappointed, we loved every new one we try. High recommend stopping by for a drink after work or lunch to check it out.

If you're driving through Oklahoma or, downtown OKC more specifically, you may drive past what might be one of the city's hidden gems. Masquerading as a commercial office building is Tellers, a 1930s bank retrofitted as a swanky bar and restaurant in the heart of downtown OKC. The setting is beautiful, truly feeling like you're in an old school bank. The booths lie where customers would've cashed checks and talked to tellers (pun intended). The service was phenomenal with our waitress checking in at the perfect times and offering to take photos of us, even giving us a short history lesson of the bank itself. The food was great and reasonably priced given the atmosphere. We ordered the pancakes, which were on the thinner side but had a nice crisp bottom, and the All American which featured perfectly cooked eggs, delicious roasted potatoes, and flavorful sausage. The coffee came courtesy of La Colombe and was delicious as well.As an experience, Teller's is fantastic with a beautiful interior, good value, and food that matches the rest. We would highly recommend a stop if you're ever visiting the OKC area.

"Part gas station, part convenience store, part restaurant. These are just some parts of Pops. Located on Route 66, some reviewers may also label Pops as a "tourist trap." While this may be accurate, I prefer to label it as a tourist attraction. Whether it's a tourist trap or attraction should not matter because Pops is one of the best places to visit in Oklahoma. Pops is known for their soda pops. They have over 500 different varieties to choose from. Only at Pops are you able to buy soda pops that you have never heard of before with brands like Red Ribbons, Henry Weinhard's, Jones, Boots, Dublin, and many more. Not only does it have the varieties, the price is also reasonable. Is it the cheapest? Oh, heck no. Is it expensive? Not really. I paid $19.46 for 6 bottled soda pops. Staffs are very friendly at Pops. I haven't tried the restaurant side, but it was busy, mostly family dining.I love Pops. The place is very trendy. The 66 ft pop bottle outside lights up at night. Good place for family. Seriously, how can anyone not love Pops?"
"I came here with a few friends for dinner and we're all ordered different things and ended up sharing. Everything we got was so delicious && we ended up sharing our plates because they worked well together!! I have thought about this place almost every other day since. We got the salad, chicken, gnocchi, and cacio e pepe. The parking is a few spots in front of the restaurant, but they also have a parking garage."
"We ate here with the family a few weeks ago. The waitress was great & patient with us since most of us had not been before. I got a plain burger with pickles (I'm very picky) and it was great! Huge patty, cooked perfectly and still very juicy. I got half sweet potato fries and half onion rings. Neither were super warm, but the fries were good. The onion rings were okay, but seemed somewhat undercooked. The fried pickles were excellent!!The place was nice and not loud at all!"
"The chicken fried steak is deservedly famous. They were closed for remodeling last time I was in Oklahoma so it was nice to check it out. The breakfast portion would have fed two people. So I enjoyed the second part of the steak cold. Which I recommend doing. It's still ridiculously tender and flavorful. It's an interesting vibe inside. You'll see. Oh -- and it's really difficult to figure out how to get in. The front door has a different Business's name on it."
"Last Sunday, we took our extended family here after church. There were 9 of us so I got to see a lot of different dishes. They all looked tempting, especially the egg Benedict. The bacon is nice and thick. I can't wait to return and see if they taste as good as they look. Service was perfect. The server took good care of us. I don't know how she managed to do such a good job with a table of 9. My brother in law knew about a perk they have for first time customers. If there's a first timer, the table gets a giant cinnamon roll. Bob told the server we had several first timers and she brought us one. It was enormous! Enough to satisfy 9. The atmosphere was that of a large busy diner. It's decorated nicely. I ordered my usual chicken fried chicken. I asked if the mashed potatoes were scratched or from a box. They are instant potatoes, but they offer baked potatoes as a side, so I got a baked potato and extra gravy and mashed that. The only disappointments I had were the rolls didn't taste as good as they looked, they gave us a whipped spread instead of butter, and the carrots weren't so good. The chicken fried chicken was huge. It was a thick chicken breast fried to perfection and it covered the plate. There was enough for my lunch the next day. You can't go wrong at the Silver Skillet."
"I would seriously come here just to eat their rolls! They are that good. I decided to try the 1/2 chicken fried steak which only just barely fit on my plate. I'd be afraid of a whole one! My food was at my table almost before I got done ordering it, and it was very good! The sides were good and the service was fantastic!I had to take my freshly made fried pie to go because I could only eat half of it before I was stuffed! This spot is a definite hidden gem, and a must go spot in OKC."
"Excellent appetizers, had the Wellington bites, the lamb pops and also the scallops with awesome grits. Got an Arnold Palmer and sparkling water (service was also superb in making those drinks) and the dessert of toffee pudding with strawberry ice cream was great, as was the hazelnut flavored espresso. Interior environs also very cool and stylish. Just those appetizers filled me up, so I'm looking forward to coming back for dinner!"
"My husband and I visited with our three kids. The food was so great! The kids loved the breakfast food options (yogurt parfait, crepes, and omelet). My husband got a wrap and I got the orange chicken salad which was amazing."
"I awoke this morning far too early, the kind of early that comes from having circled the sun about 50 times. It was 4:30AM. Some of you will understand... definitely too early after going to bed sometime after midnight. Usually, I'd just go back to sleep, but this morning, my mood oddly resonated with the Amy Winehouse song: "You Know I'm No Good."It's June 5th, 2024, and for the past two months, I've been mildly shell-shocked by this spring's string of tornadoes. A little rattled even, because I'm not used to tornadoes, having come to OKC from Southern California for work, temporarily staying in my camper with my two cats at an RV park. But the song resonated for some reason... was it because of the naders? Maybe it's the unease of not knowing if the next anvil cloud would throw down baseball-sized hail through my vintage 1960 camper and get my cats while I'm at work? Maybe it's because my damn lawyer just sent me the draft of my divorce papers from my wife. Yeah that one's probably it.Sorry, if I've digressed... this is a restaurant review after all.I've been mildly addicted to Sunnyside Diner's Avocado Toast ever since I discovered it two weekends ago. What I mean is, ever since that first time, I keep musing back to that first moment when I drove my knives through the middle of it and it gushed out the most beautiful molten orange egg yolk. It was curious because most eggs these days are yellow, not orange. The orange of a Coronado sunset. It's constructed of sourdough toast, shmeared with fresh avocado, perfectly cooked bacon slices, with piping hot orange over-easy eggs wilting a thin bed of arugula, topped with the most delightful pickled sweet red onions. So this morning, when I woke up too early in that mild funk, a video clip played in my head... the bursting orange Coronado sunset-eggs of Sunnyside Diner's Avocado Toast, and it became my mission to get it. It's nearly perfection and Sunnyside Diner should be proud of it."
"Our food club tried out Scrambl'd for this month's meeting after seeing it on Yelp's top 10 list recently. We were seated promptly and were well attended to throughout our meal. We had to turn away from the windows because the sun was shining brightly through. You may want to keep this in mind when they are seating you.The menu was not as extensive as sometimes breakfast/brunch places can be, but there were many solid options. We tried the OG breakfast, sweet potato hash, and the power bowl. All the food was good, perhaps not anything spectacular. But they do offer a few creative entrees like Oaty's lamb chops and peach cobbler biscuit, so we probably should have gone for one of their specialties. Maybe we will next time."
"Great food and a great staff, love this place. The biscuits and gravy are a must for breakfast!!"
"We're so great with our two baby girls. We love coming here and love the staff. So fun and comfortable"
"I love this local diner. The staff is the friendliest staff that I've ever come across. I have to spend some time in Edmond while my kid is attending a class at UCO and I go here to have some breakfast and hang out. The servers are all stellar! They tend to remember what I had to eat and drink the last time and are always genuinely happy to say hello and chat, and this is something I try appreciate. My favorite things I've had to eat on the menu are the biscuits and country gravy, the Classic Benedict."
"Always love sunny side for a fast and easy breakfast. The service sometimes takes a little bit but allows you to catch up with your company. I appreciate that you can order regular breakfast but also burgers and vegan items if that is what you'd prefer. Always a good time here"
"The food and service here is awesome! I especially like the blackened chicken sandwich! It has a great taste and is a big sandwich. Can't wait to get back here soon!"
"First of all, best bacon I've had in my life. The waffles were delicious as well! I've never had a savory waffle before and the spicy cornbread waffle under the chicken was a pleasant choice. The servers were attentive and cleared our empty trays quickly. The space itself was large, seemed like there were 3+ rooms to the restaurant itself. HEADS UP: this is not a full service restaurant - you order everything at the counter, take a number, and your items are brought to you. It's a big menu to have to look through before ordering at the counter so I recommend looking at the menu online prior to visiting. I felt awkward standing next to people eating looking over the menu while they were trying to enjoy their meal."
"Great selection and service! I never had fried pie before but I love it! Fry anything and it will taste good for some reason haha! Ambiance inside is like a typical mom and pop donut shop, and the people in front are sweet and welcoming! Also they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. Definitely will be coming back often!"
"The wait staff was very friendly! The place is beautiful inside and outside. We ate in the outdoor area and it was very relaxing. The food was really delicious. I had their impossible burger except I subbed their classic beef in. I also had their Cherry Vanilla DP & Orange Crush and both were very good. The Orange Crush was super sweet and my favorite between the two. The Cherry Vanilla DP did make me think of cough syrup but I still enjoyed it."
"Amazing food and coffee. The atmosphere is great and the staff extremely kind! Everything is fresh and tasty, best place for a quick bite while supporting local businesses."
"Their namesake burger is so good, I had to go back twice in the same week just to make sure! I scoffed when I found a place that was only open until 3pm on a Sunday... But Press & Plow is worth setting your alarm to wake up early on a weekend. Everything on the menu is beautifully served to impress even your pickiest family members from out-of-town. But the item that really delivers is the Press & Plow Burger - a double patty on a bun that I can only describe as the most amazing thing I've ever put in my mouth. This is Norman's best hamburger, hands down. And although it comes with rosemary chips, I recommend substituting it with the fresh fruit. The quaint space is often packed, but you can make reservations online. Their location makes it an easy stop on your way into -or out of- town."
"Food is amazing! Service could use some help but the food makes it worth it all. Chicken and catfish are on point for sure"
"Wow!!The food and service is top-notch. I can't stop thinking about the cinnamon rolls. Our amazing waitress, Lexi took such good care of us. She made sure we tried the cinnamon rolls and now I can't wait to go back. The Philly cheesesteak omelette and burrito were both so good. I look forward to my next trip to granny's kitchen.!"
"We just love eating here for special occasions, it's always so cute. The month of February was extra special with Valentines goodies. Came here to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday and she loved it. We love how everything is perfectly displayed and it's a feast for the eye. Everything always tastes do good too. There is a cute little shop inside too with everything for teas, kitchen ,olive oil and gifts .perfect for a lunch date or any time."
