"Came here for a work dinner on the recommendation of another colleague. Overall it was great! The deviled eggs were delicious, the fried pickles were crunchy but too sweet; they tasted like honey mustard. The mains were delicious; the burnt ends and turkey were both juicy and savory and the sauce selection was great. The cornbread was also super sweet but pretty good anyway. My broccoli was sadly cold and mushy, probably the bottom of the tray, but the slaw was crunchy and tasty. The portions were huge! Service was decent, but kinda overly friendly and trying too hard. Music not too loud, overall good for conversation. I would come again!"
"What's not to love?! Always have great drinks. Tonight had their old fashion. Food consistently hits the spot! Ask for a side of jalepeno when getting the Mac and cheese. It's amazing!! All of the sides are yummy! The corn bread can't be missed. Order it all and take rhetorical leftovers home!"

"Sometime five stars feels inadequate. Sometimes was this time. I was visiting for work and Kings was HIGHLY recommended by some locals. You'd never know it from pulling up, but when I opened my car door the aroma of smoked meats immediately enveloped me. I feel horrible that I didn't get the name of the lady at the counter, but she was magnificent. Not only did she help explain when I mentioned it was our first time there, she felt like she was part of our crew. My friend and I have a little joke because she calls me by my "professional" work name of Daniel, so when they asked for my name and I said Dan, my friend corrected with Daniel when I was getting my drink. So the lady at Kings made sure to call me Daniel the rest of our visit, until we were leaving when she said Dan. It's THAT kind of service that makes me remember and return. The bbq...from someone in Texas? I ordered chopped brisket, burnt ends, and pork ribs. I'm going to say something I never thought I'd say. This wasn't "good for outside of Texas bbq". This was top five bbq I've EVER had. EVER. I WILL be back. I WILL recommend Kings BBQ. You are missing out if you don't go. The photo doesn't do it justice. You need to experience it yourself."
"This place is great. Excellent brisket and the May Special (Nachos) are the bomb. The chicken is phenomenal also. We hit this place up about every week. Yes, that's how good it is."
"Very good lean brisket with delicious sauces. What else could you possibly want! Warm service from friendly and helpful staff!"
"Why am I such a sucker for BBQ nachos? Is it because they are one of my number one comfort foods? Perhaps, but yeah they are my "feeling homesick I need some calories right now" type of food. The ability to load up meat, sauce, jalapeños, and cheese onto chips so you can ignore the world for a while is a trick not many restaurants can pull off.Kind service, clean location, and good food.Enough said!"
"The restaurant was very cool, the service was outstanding and the BBQ was outstanding. Possibly the best I've had.I highly recommend if you like BBQ give Leon's Smoke Shack BBQ a try, you will not be disappointed."
"The portions of food are pretty large for one person. And the prices reflect that. I was a little shocked at how much the dishes and sides were when comparing other places to go for lunch - and I suppose it makes sense if they're always dishing out dinner portions. The bbq sauce here is sweet and delicious. It's why I keep coming back. The place is clean, the staff is always friendly, and the service is relatively quick for lunch."
"AYCE dinner was amazing for ~$35/adult. Our server was so patient and accommodating to our requests. She brought our food immediately after we ordered each round. There are so many options on the menu, and you are able to order as much as possible with no time limit. The only downside is that they do not serve LA galbi and ribeye. There was at least 6 or so pork options from pork belly to spicy marinated pork. Aside from meats, you can order as much soup (doenjang and soondubu offered), treobokki, fried chicken, japchae, and more dishes that compliment the meats."
"Found this yummy place on a road trip heading to Michigan from Texas. It was very busy on a Saturday at 1pm so that was a sign of the great food to come! Hubby had the catfish plate with spicy black eyed peas & sweet apple coleslaw and hushpuppies. He cleaned his plate!! I got the 2 meat plate with mild sausage and brisket with potato salad (Just like I make!!) and crispy fried okra. The brisket was tender and lean. The sausage had just the right blend of spice. All this for less than $50!! I hope our travels bring us back to this place again!!"
"A great meal at a reasonable price! I came in on a weekday at dinner time and had immediate seating. Never having been here before, I took the servers advice and have the Rib platter. Generous portion of five St. Louis style ribs. 3 different sauces at the table, but the rub was good alone. Ambience was casual with soft music playing. Multiple televisions throughout with sporting events on. Think of a more upscale Rib Crib. Parking maybe a pain due to the downtown location, I walked from a nearby hotel so it wasn't an issue."
"When visiting OKC/Edmond, The Mule is a MUST!!!!! I had the pleasure of tasting the macaroni pony years ago and I am still hooked! I went around lunch time and it was fairly busy but I was able do able to grab a seat at the bar. Since I was "on vacation" I of course had to try one of those tasty OK beers they had on tap.....Iron Monk Velvet Amber was a winner. I will say their cocktails also look delicious. I started with the fried green tomatoes.....delicious but honestly, should have went with the cheese curds. To my surprise, I decided to try something different. Went with The Cortez. The short rib was flavorful and melted in my mouth and the jalapeño cornbread was BOMB but....overall it was just blah. Next time I may ask if I can add mac & cheese to it. Probably would have elevated it for my taste. I also skipped on the grilled jalapeños so who knows, maybe I messed up on that one. Overall it was a great experience as always. The bartender was so sweet and attentive!"

Amazing food. We've been a couple of times and they have been awesome every time. We've gone to the OKC location and the Tulsa location and the food never misses. The food is Smokey and very flavorful. The bread is sweet and so good. It's rare to find a place with burnt ends but they had them in great supply.

Went for happy hour, 3-6pm today, and had a wonderful time! Cora was our server, and she treated us so well and was so fast despite being super busy. Had the fried chicken sandwich, and for $5 during happy hour was an absolute steal! Also had some queso, not pictured, but was so good! I didn't get a drink, but my friend got the pomegranate margarita and loved it! The prices were also amazing! Everything on happy hour was $5, even the drinks. I would definitely recommend this place, it has beautiful rustic vibe and the servers are all so kind.

Had just flown into Oklahoma City for the Thanksgiving week, and I drove straight from the airport to meet my son at King's barbecue. We got there about 6:15pm on a Sunday night, not knowing it closes at seven. They were willing to serve us, however, by that point in the day, they were out of burnt ends, so that was disappointing! Food came out lightning fast, and the plates were brimming and so delicious! I had the ham dinner, with mac & cheese and fries. I'm a pretty picky, mac & cheese eater, and most places I don't generally like, but this mac & cheese was fabulous! The ham was delicious, and the fries were crispy and yummy. Everyone else loved their meals as well, and all our trays were wiped clean! I would highly recommend!

Tonight was my first time going to Smokies and I was VERY impressed! I'm a smoked bologna fan and too many BBQ joints I've tried have failed on their smoked bologna, NOT SMOKIES! It was the best I had in a long time. Try a slab! Only $4 for the best smoked bologna in a long time. Staff was great! Portions were large! Enjoyed the sauces, highly recommend!

Food is the BOMB ! as 1 reviewer's notes described it perfectly. It didn't disappoint at all . The ribs were fall off the bone spectacular along with the greens, Mac-n-cheese and potato salad that can make folks to shame ( that's how potato salad supposed to taste ) cause the ones that I've been eating aren't even close.

Delicious barbecue. I'm especially a fan of the baked potato. But sometimes they run out of what we're looking for. We understand it's hard to determine what sales will be, though, so we are willing to be flexible. Brisket is juicy. Even the turkey is juicy, which is hard to do.

Visited Leon's on while visiting Route 66. What a find! The brisket and ribs were very tender. They had homemade desserts. My husband had banana pudding. For lunch I had a slap potato! Wow! Great service

I am not a big fan of barbecue, but this Oklahoma Joe's location hits different. I love the location up on Hillside Drive in broken arrow. The vibe is casual and the employees are super friendly. I prefer to get the pulled pork and sausage, and both are amazing! This is a great place to go with family or just to stop in for to go order. They have a separate space for ordering to go.

"Got Big O's for a Homecoming tailgate party.12 lbs.of brisket, chopped and 6 lbs. of TurkeyBrisket was smoked and chopped perfectly and the included sauces were plentiful and just right combo of sweet and spicy. Turkey was moist, and you know how hard that is to do."
"This place was recommended by a friend of mine who is very serious about his Oklahoma BBQ and I'm so glad we listened! First off, while we were waiting in line and looking through the menu one of the workers came around and gave everyone in line a sample of their ribs. What a great business model cause if you're not sure about the ribs, now you can try it before committing (but you should just commit to getting the ribs). My favorite was the brisket, but everything was just so dang delicious. We ordered 2 rib tours and split it between 3 ppl and this was plenty for us. I would definitely try the mustard bbq sauce with your meats.I've already recommended this place to 2 other friends and thought to recommend it on Yelp too!"
"Amazing food and service!! I got the beef chop sandwich. It was very very good! Perfectly cooked not dry at all. We got the potato salad, baked beans, and Mac n cheese for the sides and all delicious. We will for sure be back!! So far best bbq I have tried in Tulsa!!! No pics because I ate it so fast I forgot."
"This place is amazing and a hidden gem. Couple helpful tips - there is no exterior sign, it's inside the OK KO-Mart - it's very small, only 6 tables- it's very casual - The name is bit misleading, this is authentic Korean restaurant (bulgogi, short ribs, bibimbap, etc) The food is fantastic and service is good. I'd highly recommend. Bibimbap is great"
"You can never go wrong here. I enjoy their food. It's not just plain American food when you go in they're speaking their main language, which is not English. it's so laid-back and easy-going and their sweet people and they're not pushy and their food is really good. It's a darker Restaurant and my eyes bother me a lot so if I go to sit down in a restaurant, I like these type of restaurants I've had their soup I've had theirmandu, noodles and Bulgogi and I noticed today I don't know how I've ever missed it. I don't get to eat there much cause I'm in the minority in my family about the food. What I like they have vegetable chicken Bulgogi and I said oh that's just my eye I like the Gogi, but I don't like that it does not have vegetables. And this one does so I just had to try it and one thing I like is that we can order it there and bring it home and eat they're really easy to get bring home. Their meals are sort of big.And if you're worried about their menu https://gangnamstyle.my.canva.site/copy-of-original-size-orange-and-yellow-illustrated-korean-food-posterhere's the site and you can also I'm going to upload a QR code that you can scan to go see their current menu so you know exactly what they have but if you want to try something different that is really not your every day Korean type food that she go into like one of those buffets This is a place to try and they've been here for a long time now."
"The wings are really tasty and the brisket is good and dependable. The rest is meh. This location doesn't serve a full menu though. (Or hasn't when I've been in). Try the Tulsa hills location for better food service and cleanliness."
"I have never been here physically!!! But today I saw whom I presume to be the owner John, recognized military personnel and one in particular- ZM! Love it!! Love it!! From the love you shared to the words you spoke - thank you very much for taking the time to put aside any world differences and give recognition as due!!As a wife and mother of soldiers, I'm truly touched by your dedication to being an amazing human being!!!Thank you and God Bless you and your travels!!#remaininhim"
"Absolutely fantastic in every aspect. Great food (loved the ribs, but the "Rex Earl" salad is a must try - named after a legendary lawyer Rex Earl Starr). Service was wonderful. You will notice they seem to know all the customers that were coming in the door, which is a great sign of the loyalty they earned and the staff's attention to details. This is a special place. I will be back every time I'm in Muskogee."
"Can fat people eat here? Yes but the brisket was dry and I hate dry brisket5: yes3: maybe1: noYou will be full here but I don't like the brisket and that's what I want when I go BBQ. I would get Mac and cheese and their collard greens for sides. I would avoid the brisket as it wasn't juicy. Bologna and sausage is good but nothing to rave about."
"North Oklahoma City has been graced with a Korean BBQ gem that stands out for its quality and ambiance. The Korean iced coffee is a delightful surprise, reminiscent of the robust flavors found in a traditional Vietnamese coffee. The establishment prioritizes cleanliness, which is immediately noticeable and appreciated. While initially the music volume was high, the staff was accommodating and promptly adjusted it upon request, creating a more enjoyable dining atmosphere. The Jap Chae, or glass noodle dish as listed on the menu, is a noteworthy item. The meats are a particular highlight, each well-marinated and seasoned to perfection. The Galbi (short ribs), beef bulgogi, smoked garlic pork belly, and calamari have earned their place as our favorites. We are already looking forward to our next visit and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to others seeking a top-notch Korean BBQ experience in the area."
"First thing! If you like a big old batch of salty fried pickles, they have some of the best around on their appetizer menu! My husband and I got the two meat dinners. Both were excellent! We are fans of pulled pork, chopped brisket, and smoked sausage. All were real good, smoky, and moist since we chose two different meats. Our waitress was a sweetheart."
"This was a fun little place we visited while in Yukon. Service was excellent. Fast, friendly. Food was pretty good and seemed to be fairly priced. Nice serving sizes too. Not a lot of BBQ sauce options for a BBQ place, but I was happy with the one I had. Definitely try the fried pickles!"
"Sweet and salty Mo' Bettahs does not skimp on flavor. I tried the Kaula pig, steak, spam musabi, rice, and a tossed salad. The Kaula pig was by far my favorite. It is tender, flavorful, and pairs well with the Teri sauce. The steak is flavorful but very chewy, which isn't my vibe, and I did subtract a star for this. Especially since the steak has an upcharge. The spam musabi is very flavorful and salty and has a pleasant texture. The rice really helps balance the salty spam. Overall, it's a nice snack item. The tossed salad was fresh with plenty of carrotts and a couple of tomatoes. For a fast food side salad, I'm pleased. Dressing was also good. The rice was good. I enjoyed it with the sauce on top.For the price, you get a lot of protein, and this is a protein heavy place. Meat is the star of the show, and the Teri sauce is the co-star. Additionally, the atmosphere was nice. Music was a little loud, but inside had a good layout that made it easy to order, pick up, eat, grab drinks, dispose of trash, etc, without disrupting other customers. Overall good place."
"Great food, reasonable prices and fast, friendly service!Took my grand kids and they have great kid meals too!"
"I only went through the drive thru one morning. Only one employee working, but he was working hard. Breakfast burritos were absolutely delicious. The smell of the brisket alone was mouthwatering. Definitely a good barbecue spot, at least for meats and great service."
"We're on our way to Dallas and we looked up good restaurants for lunch in Okmulgee. We were craving BBQ. So we stopped in and Kanesha came promptly and introduced herself. Her name is on one of the menu items so I assume she's either part owner or owner! Anyhoo, the food is amazing! I ordered ribs and BBQ beans. Hubby ordered Smoke Wich - a sandwich piled high with three meats...smoked bologna, brisket, and hot links. It was all delicious and came out really quick! We'll definitely be coming back here!"
"05-14-2024 5:45 PM. We went to Stone Mill BBQ and Steakhouse for the all-you-can-eat BBQ ribs on Tuesdays since we had not been there in years. We were asked if we wanted to sit in the bar or main dining room and we chose the bar. It was a good choice--much quieter. I liked the nautical themed bar too. We were greeted by "Princess" and she took our drink order. When she returned with drinks, we ordered the AYCE BBQ rib dinners; mine with Stone Mill potatoes and green beans and my wife ordered the tabouli and fried okra. She said the tabouli was really good. I liked my potato's and green beans. [I like pepper!] I could not have ordered more ribs after eating what was first delivered. They were good and filling. Almost didn't get a picture. The service and food were great."
"I found myself in the not so little northern Oklahoma town of Enid for work and wandered into this joint for dinner. I am so glad I did... to the point that I ended up not being upset about being out of town and by myself on my birthday. Admittedly, I am particular about my bbq, especially ribs. I genuinely expected very little from this joint in regards to quality of the bbq but I was absolutely blown away by Swadley's... in a good way.The setting is very pleasant and the cleanliness is above most. The service is excellent (thank you Ariana!) and my glass was never below 1/2 full. The menu choices are vast but not overwhelming. The prices are surprisingly lower than most bbq joints in TX. The fresh cut fries and the sweet beans are enjoyable. They offer 4 bbq sauces so you can customize your flavor... but you may not even mess the sauce because the meat is excellent. The brisket is tender, has a nice smoke ring and a flavorful bark. The sausage isn't greasy or spicy so it is enjoyable too. The chicken is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The ribs have the right amount of pull from the bone, bark, tenderness, and flavor. Very impressive Swadley's! Very impressive!"
"Small BBQ restaurant in Tulsa and Broken Arrow. If you are a discounted shopper like myself, you are going to love this restaurant. The Broken Arrow location offers me a total of 14% discount through my Chase Freedom Flex (love this credit card) and Upside. Billy Ray's Catfish & BBQ does not have the best ribs or BBQ. Ribs were less tender and meats were sticking to some part of bones. Fried catfish filets were on the smaller side. Baked beans and green tomato relish sides were good. If you're able to get good discounts, I would recommend to check it out. Without discounts, I feel like there are better restaurants out there with better catfish and BBQ for the same cost. Super friendly service as well."
"The scene: kids are hot in the car and have to use the bathroom, we have an hour left to drive after a very long, sticky (if delightful) weekend, and mama is HANGRY. Enter Yelp. My kids know the drill, and now that they are big enough to navigate from the front seat, at least one of the them (depending on the weather, time of day, and level of hangry) is willing to be my PIC. "Mahhm! this place looks good! It's a mile off the highway [well-trained, huh?], and it has all different kinds of barbecue. There are 21 reviews and they're, like, almost all five stars!" Then the naysayer speaks up, wanting a lesson in averages- how can it be five stars if not all the reviews are five stars? Such explanation was just long enough to entertain us before pulling under the covered parking (limited, but it exists!) at Papa's Barbecue.Prices are $$ (but what isn't these days, esp. if we're not doing Mickey D's, which... we're not), and the kids both assure me they will eat their whole sandwich. So we order one for each: S has the (small... i.e., regular size) pulled pork sandwich with a side of fried okra, C has the bacon cheeseburger with a side of fried okra, and I have the (small, i.e., regular size) sliced brisket sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. $26. We enjoyed our wait, as the place (a reno'ed gas station) was cute and clean. I'm not a fan of cutesy- it was not that. It was thoughtfully well-crafted, with the cleanest exterior bathrooms I've ever seen. The kids, during our wait, caught sight of the complimentary ice cream dispenser, and I honestly have no idea how I was able to get out of that one. We took our order to go, after picking up some pickles from the pickle bar, dousing my sandwich in some barbecue sauce on the table, and perusing the everlasting hot sauce bar. I took one bite of my brisket, on a sweet potato (not sweet potato, but sweet, potato) bun, and closed my eyes. It was so tender, so tasty, so worthy of five stars. I don't always eat barbecue, but when I do, I want it to taste like this. I tasted the kids' sandwiches, too, and was glad we all ordered something different. Each sandwich was strong on flavor and clearly the work of someone who figured out how to craft barbecue. While I loved their sandwiches, I think the sliced brisket was my favorite. We'll be back to Papa's. The next time we're in a rush to get out of town, I'm not stopping at Sonic. The next time we're in a rush to have dinner as we arrive from out of town, I'm not stopping at Whole Foods. We're going to Papa's, and we're ALL getting ice cream. And pickles. Not at the same time."
"I've heard great things but I guess it's the main location. It wasn't anything spectacular so it was only a disappointment to my expectations. I had the slider appetizer so I could get a good sampling. Nothing really stood out; not that anything was bad though. It was your typical BBQ. The service was great and the atmosphere was very bbq joint. Next time we are going to the downtown location."
"I discovered this place through DoorDash and a $10 off offer.Craving some home cookin' so I ordered.Guys, guys, guys.... best fried chicken EVER. BBQ ribs... phenomenal. Wonderful BBQ sauce with a little kick. I wasn't crazy about the baked beans or coleslaw but everyone has very different opinions on what makes those sides yummy. Chili is excellent. Definitely something for everyone!Excellent quality, BIG servings!"
"A true if you're not looking for it, you'll miss it place. Some coworkers suggested this place for lunch. I had the 2 meat sandwich, with green beans and water. You order and they bring your food to you. The staff was friendly, service was excellent, the green beans looked bland but were so good. The chopped brisket was ok and my chopped ribs were dry. My coworker got the chicken and it looked good so I will go back for that. I also got an amazing looking brownie to go for my husband. He said it was good. If you eat it in the restaurant they will heat it up and serve it with Ice cream. The price was good, just be mindful of the hours and days the restaurant is closed."
