Katie D. "My family went here for my mother-in-law's birthday. She had heard about this place multiple times and wanted to try it. I think she really enjoyed it which is great! However it was so loud and the table was so big that none of us could really hear each other to talk. So that was kind of a bummer. I could see how this is a cool atmosphere for maybe a group of younger people. The restaurant itself is pretty neat inside. Our server was really nice. I just didn't really think the food was that great unfortunately. We ordered chips and dip and the tiny amount of dip we got was laughable as an appetizer that was meant to be shared. I order half chicken and half steak. The steak was supposed to be 4 oz. I eat enough steaks to know what 4 oz looks like. It was maybe 2 oz. I told our server and he just came back with a second 2 oz steak for me. That's fine but like it really should be the actual 4 oz. The filet was good and the chicken was okay. I don't know that, for the price, I would give this place another chance. However, everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal which is awesome."

The flavors did not disappoint! The base to the red beans and rice was very flavorful!! The sausage wasn't the one I would have used but still good. The crawfish was tender and well cooked. I loved it!! My server was kind and quick, always keeping my water full. The restaurant was quaint but lovely! Would definitely be back next time I'm passing through town :)"

I often come and eat now and it is delicious and fresh, make to order every single time. I've never had a bad dish ever and tried most of the menu. Thai La Moon

Thai La Moon

Jeff M. "I'm gonna start with the positive, and then the minor negatives, and by the end it's going to be an outright tirade. So, I guess consider this your warning if you wanna skip the whole thing.[] The Good []The Spicy La Moon Stir Fry was delicious. They were incredibly chintzy on the meat, so I was eating mostly carrots/cabbage, but those carrots and cabbage were able to really do the work of keeping me happy because of the great sauce/flavor.[] The Average []Prices are kinda high. It's going to be a minimum of $15, but likely more once you include tip and stuff.[] The Bad []The Pineapple Curry was nothing but "Heat" and "Sweet." I've had Pineapple Curry before where there were also savory elements. But this was just spicy (which I asked for it, so I wasn't opposed to that) on the front end, and then it was really sweet at the back end. Like a weird spicy dessert...[] The Outright Clown-Make Up Level Customer Service Fail []My friend asked if he could get some hot water instead of ice water. They said sure. Then at the end when I paid for the meal, I noticed on the receipt that they had added $0.75 for hot water. I asked them about it because WTF to charging for hot water? The server tells me that it's because they had to use electricity to boil the water. I think I was stunned by the stupidity of the logic there. I think my face also communicated my annoyance about the whole thing. But I always struggle with walking that fine line of being like "yo, this is not okay" and not ending up being an outright Karen about it in the process. But the kicker was that after I paid, the server comes back and effectively said, "We got this restaurant from someone else, and we didn't know that they charged for hot water. But the next time you come, tell us and we won't charge for the hot water."Okay, there are so many layers of the trash-levels of service recovery to unpack here, but I'm going to do it regardless:1. He straight told me that he was going to pass off the cost of electricity (which is absolute nonsense and nowhere near $0.75) for boiling some water on our behalf. 2. He waited to charge my card, before then blame-shifting to the previous owners on why it happened.3. He lied about how he was unaware that their system charges for water, like I was going to forget that just 10 minutes earlier, he was really quick to come up with the nonsense about electricity costs when I asked him about getting charged for hot water4. His attempt at service recovery was not to offer any form of corrective action. Not an offer to refund me. Not even a statement saying they will remove that egregious hot water charge from their system. The most magnanimous thing this tightwad business owner was offering to do was to comp me for hot water (IF I ASK), the next time I visit. To quote one of my favorite memes: "The Lion, the Witch, and the Audacity of this B..."The receipt they provide recommends 18%, 20% and 30% for gratuity. At some point, you're not interested in running a restaurant. You're interested in ripping people off and doing it through food (or hot water)."

My mom and I were in Stillwater for a baseball game and we were craving anything besides burgers and bbq (no-offense)... we were surprised to find this new concept/fast casual poke restaurant. I was amazed by the quality! I've had poke in Hawaii so my standards have been set pretty high.... this place is probably the best I've had in Oklahoma! Hands down. The ambience was welcoming and modern. And the customer service was outstanding! Their menu is simple but at the same time, the options vary so your taste buds can go on a sushi/poke adventure! I had the sushi burrito (I've only had these out-of-state so I was excited to see one on the menu) and wow, that first bite blew my mind! It was super crispy, savory and fresh! Adding wonton chips was genius!!! And you get a lot of food for only $10. My mom had some shrimp tempura & miso soup and she enjoyed it! She said the miso soup was full of flavor! If I was a college kid in Stillwater, I be a regular! It's that good and I would want to try everything on the menu! Katie G. "I have a new boss these days, and if I could write a Yelp review, she'd get five stars for introducing me to Twenty Pho Hour and their pho alone (also 5 stars cause she's great, and no, she's not reading this, I just like saying it!). Let's talk about my reaction. I had seen the restaurant online already, because their interior is AESTHETIC my friends. If you want an Insta-worthy spot to eat at? Here it is. Here they are. I spent half of my meal just exclaiming in excitement over everything, because it's all so cute. INCLUDING the fact that they sell drinks in heart shaped and teddy bear shaped bottles. First, important to know, it's pay first, more like a chain fast food spot. Honestly, that makes it perfect for shared meals. I hate splitting checks because my math skills aren't as good as my eating skills. The menu is large and easy to read, right when you walk in. They also have a small fridge with their bottled drinks (they also have water, soda, and other drinks!), where I grabbed the last teddy bear, filled with a matcha-y milk. SO good. I love an appetizer, so I ordered the Lao Pork egg rolls. OMG were these delicious. They had plenty of filling without being overfilled, were piping hot, and were just sooo good. Five stars all the way, but they were absolutely outshone by the true star of the show: the pho. Now, I know, I know. I got a premium bowl and yes, it was not cheap. Yes, you can get cheaper pho, and yes, I'm sure you're sure the pho place you get yours from is better. All I hear is blah, blah, blah because prior to my visit, I was a "pho is fine but I don't go out of my way for it" to "THIS IS THE GREATEST THING EVER AND I AM A PHO CONVERT". The "Black Ox" is...mind blowing. Out of this world. Worth every penny and more. In my opinion, this is the best bowl of pho in the city. The broth smells divine, tastes amazing, and I could eat it alone and be satisfied. So much flavor! Then, the meat: eye round steak (very thin slices of beef) and ox tail. Ox tail is one of my favorite things. This was fall off the bone tender, and fatty in that perfect, buttery way. Round steak? Perfectly cooked and tender without falling apart, just ideal. Amazing. AH-MAZ-ING.Finally: service. SO friendly and polite. Food came out so fast and was steaming hot. If I worked nearby, I'd be here every day and go broke for that ox tail. One of my favorite things is that they put out takeout containers, so you don't have to ask. You just get what you need, and off you go. Y'all, just...it is COLD out. Now is the time. Please, go eat here. Get the Black Ox pho. And don't bother thanking me. Just...enjoy it for me."

Katie V. "Came here this past Monday after a long drive from KC to attend a tradeshow at the Grand Casino Hotel. We looked at their menu online & I saw they had Bun Bo Hue so I said let's go! I needed spicy broth in my life at the moment. The restaurant was nothing much on the outside & decor inside was not much either. We were sat by the window & they had a tv to view. I opened my menu & to my surprise the Bun Bo Hue was crossed off the menu. I was devastated! They had a similar dish called the Shawnee Bo Hue Spicy but to me it wasn't the same. The noodles used was a thin vermicelli & not the usual thick ones. It came with meatballs & tripe which is different from all the bo hues I've eaten. I ordered their fresh shrimp rolls to go as well for a snack later. I ate those in my hotel room & it was ok. Too overly stuffed with noodles & lettuce. The spice to the Bo Hue was good & if it had the right noodles in it then it might've hit my tastebuds much better.I gave them 4 stars for the great customer service. The little old lady who served us was very sweet & attentive. She watched American Ninja with us while we were eating our food & chatted with us. I will only return here if in the area if they brought back the Bun Bo Hue."

It came with a side of bean sprouds, sprouts,, basil, jalapeños and limes. The broth was pure perfection. I normally go to Pho Cuong in OKC,but this place is legit. I didn't need Sriracha or hoison ...but out of habit,I did add some. I also ordered the Hokkaido ( a creamy black tea) with Boba. It was DIVINE. The prices were very good.
