Kyle H. "My daughter and I have been here since December 20 23 we ran into a situation with our previous place that we lived and they worked with us to get us into a great two bedroom apartment and Cara stayed late on Christmas Eve so I could get off work and sign for the keys Anytime I've ever had a problem. They have worked with me and have been very helpful. The maintenance staff has been prompt in getting any issue. I've had taken care of and if it's taking a little bit of time like the air conditioner going out with the temperatures being below 70 when it's not ideal to Charge them, they have given me their words that it will be fixed promptly and the next stretch of warm days it was fixed. I would highly recommend. I have had nothing but good experiences with the ladies in the office and the gentleman in the maintenance crew. And they love dogs"

Julie S. "This is a nice event center, although my heart still breaks every time I step foot in this building - I'll always miss Trattoria Il Centro! The events take place on the bottom floor of the Montgomery, accessible by elevator. Once you get downstairs, there's a nice area for hosts to get folks checked in before they go into the event, which if you've ever hosted an event you know is a big plus! Inside, the space is very upscale. For an event center, it seems very elegant, with nice lighting fixtures and a good flow for even a large crowd. Logistically speaking, I also have always had a good experience: I can always find good parking nearby, and the restrooms and facilities always seem nice and clean. The ceilings always seem a bit low, chalk it up to being a basement.I'll update this review if I ever host an event here!"

Kevin H. "I currently live here and feel completely opposite of the negative review! The office is very responsive and maintenance team is the best I have ever had at any apartment complex! I have lived at multiple apartments in 5 different states due to my job and this is one of the best!! It has also been the quietest and I have not experienced any of the loud noises or partying mentioned in the other review. The grounds are kept clean and the apartments are very nice. It does seem that non-residents use the pool here, but that is a problem that all complexes have and very hard to control. As with all apartment complexes everyone can have different experiences, but for me this has been one of the best experiences yet! I highly recommend these apartments. FYI...they just got bought out so a new company now runs the complex so we will see how that goes."

Lauren H. "I have lived here almost a year. Below are pros and cons. Pros: HUGE apartments, pet friendly, nice amenities (when they are open), the gates make it feel pretty secure, I've never felt unsafe here, the gym isn't too crowded ever, the grounds are well kept, everyone kind of keeps to themselves and are quiet even on weekends. Cons: windows are sealed horribly so your utilities are going to be high, Pet fees are astronomical and not worth it, the pools are always closed for one reason or another, the gym is never restocked with cleaning products (bring your own wipes to wipe stuff down) or there is not Maintance done on the equipment so there's deflated and broken equipment often, the new management (they took over about 2 months ago) has been very rude and got rid of everyone that was helpful and kind in the office, takes ages for any maintance requests to be filled.Overall- you are paying for the name and the gate. The old management wasn't really any better with filling Maintiance requests or being helpful BUT the pools were open and maintained and they held really good resident events with food and alcohol and fun activities."

Caitlin H. "This community was beautiful, apartments were stunning inside. My only complaint while living there is that it seemed as if anytime I had a concern they were quick to throw up the defense instead of expressing empathy. I will say that there was improvements in the professionalism though. I could also see that they were always making changes to better the community. I moved in shortly after it had been built so of course with any new community things are stressful for the staff. Another suggestion would be to partner with a trash service vs one compactor in the complex. Overall I would recommend living here based on the efforts of improvement and the luxury of the community."

Spring Creek of Edmond

★★★☆☆ 3 (10)

Cerra W. "I've lived in Spring Creek for a couple of months now. One of the very few apartments in Edmond with three bedroom options. It was also the cheapest of my three bedroom apartment options, which ultimately was why I went with it. There were some hiccups with my move in, through no fault of mine nor the office. I was kept up to date with the process and the issues were taken care of swiftly. My apartment is huge, there's plenty of space for me and my four kids. Is the rent a little high? Yes. But with the location and size of the units, the rent price makes sense ($1302 at the time I'm writing this, so just over $1 per sq ft). The maintenance department is worth the rent price too. It's an old building and has old building issues. Every time I've had a problem it's been dealt with within 24 hours. They just came out this morning to fix a wasp issue, about 12 hours after I put in the request (which is done through an app, as are most things here including rent pay.)Ultimately, I really love my complex and I'd recommend it if you want a safe and convenient location in Edmond!"

The apartments offer great amenities which includes two very nice pools, bbq's & firepits throughout the complex's, basketball court, pickleball, large dog park and a nice fitness center to name a few. The grounds are kept up well and the property is fully secure and safe. Washer and dryers included in every unit was a big plus for us when choosing a property. The staff is super great and the maintenance department is spot on whenever something needs to be addressed which has only been a few times which were "minor" but knowing the staffs urgency is a nice piece of mind. I would suggest this property to anyone who is in the market for a great rental property. Also I would like to give a shout out to Herman who is a great employee who you can tell really enjoys his job, plus he's really cute too!"

Expected of an old building but it took over 2 month to get the carpet fixed in our bedroom afterwards. It took 3 months to get the radiator fixed in the spare room (really its a den but we didnt know till we moved in). It didn't work since we moved in. Weve had someone try to enter our kitchen door and someone enter our front door unannounced. The owner claims people get confused yet the maintenance guy told us 6 different aparments have requested an additional deadbolt on their kitchen doors. And another apartment had items stolen from their doorstep. The owner refuses to put cameras up anywhere in the building. Now we are moving abruptly because my fiance, who has PTSD, is having panic attacks that someone is coming in our house. Mamagememt has refused to refund my prepaid lease (I paid the full lease up front) till after I move out. The prepaid rent is not a part of my lease or my deposit but instead an over paymemt of rent for a lease cancelled prematurely. Be warned if you have medical needs or of another race as we've had guest get harassed just for being present at the pool with us. This is 2016 not 1950s! Feel free to contact me for more details. I have all the proof and witnesses needed that will support all my claims."

Chelsea S. "Apartment 212 has black mold. We were 25 days behind on our rent and they evicted us; we had 15 min to grab essentials and then leave the property. Then, we were told we had 30 days and one chance to retrieve our things. So we find somewhere to stay. We call on Monday about figuring out a date to come and get our belongings. Not that simple, apparently. We had to pay the rent we owed, the court costs for the eviction, then they would do a walk-through the apt and figure out what they felt we owed in extra charges, and every day our things were there, was an extra $33.00. We go get our items, after paying over $3100.00 (which was 17 days after the initial eviction) and find that they have boxed up ALL of our belongings. EVERYTHING. And it's all labeled with according to what was in the box AND to go to a place in Huston, Texas for sale. They were packaging our things for auction in Texas before the month was even over. Also, there was a box they had labeled "Important Docs." It was all of our mail, bills, taxes, etc., and was also going to Texas to be sold. They were going to sell our freaking identity. When they did their walk-through, they billed us for "mold." We didn't know if that was for the shower mold, like as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while, or actual real mold. Well, we realized when we went to get our things, it was real mold. Black mold. Covering the closet ceiling and the back wall where our clothes were, so we had no idea it was even there. And even if we did, how would it be OUR fault that black mold started growing in our apt? Do they think we wanted it there? Anyway, this apartment complex is the worst place I've ever lived my entire life. The people are heartless, selfish, and evil. I'm glad to be rid of them."

This resulted in some back and forth and the communication degraded a bit which was frustrating to me. However, Kaylynn Brown, the Community Manager, maintained her professionalism and attempted to complete the transaction. That was very much appreciated. I unfortunately decided to go with another local complex, but wouldn't rule out living here at some future date.As for the complex itself, it's nice. It's in a good location. The amenities are on par if not better than comparative locations. The layouts in some of the apartments are odd. Overall, seems like a nice location to live."

Forest Pointe Apartments

★★★☆☆ 3 (10)

Donna E. "First, I want to make it clear that the apartments themselves are not that great, but that the available and kind people in the office are what pushed this complex to a 4 instead of a 3. Price is a little high for the area--I'm paying $689/mo for 2bed/2bath with washer and dryer. Not terrible, but you can find better around here. The location is great, especially if you want to live in Norman but have to commute. It's less than 5 mins from OU campus, it's right on highway 9 so it doesn't take too long to get up to OKC or to get on I-35 south. It's also right on 12th aka Sooner aka highway 77 so it's a straight shot south to noble or north to Moore or Midwest city. However, it is also right by the train tracks so you'll be hearing it. Not to mention the ambient highway noises of horns and police sirens, but it's usually not too bad in this area. Next major point: the apartments themselves. Bugs. Bugs bugs bugs. The trade-off for the nice, forest-y looking complex with a great location right next to everything is that there are soooo many bugs. We had a bad cave cricket problem, we often find fiddlebacks and other fun spider friends hiding out in the shower or on the wall. However, they have people by to spray every week so I was pleasantly surprised to find a lack of bugs only a few days after requesting a spray. Most of the apartments are a bit outdated. We've had drips in the faucets, doors that have shrunken or expanded and had to be fixed because they couldn't close, and the worst one--the a/c has gone out twice this summer. They respond quickly to requests, but when your a/c goes out on a Friday afternoon and they're closed all weekend, and it's 100F outside, it sure doesn't feel fast. The washer and dryer are decent, and very very small. Be prepared to do a lot of loads of laundry. The complex does have a laundromat, a pool with a large deck, tanning beds for free tanning, and a workout room with some weights, treadmills and ellipticals. Last special points of interest! The closets are huge, the kitchen/dining area is very small, the people are pretty friendly, they allow cats and dogs for a $300 deposit, and they often have specials for a discounted month's rent, no deposit etc when you sign your lease. Also there's a Wal-Mart being built within walking distance, so you have that to look forward to."

Parking is terrible, sometimes I had to walk across the whole complex to get my place after parking. If you have friends or family that like to come visit, literally live anywhere else because they will be towed if they park in the complex. There's dog poop everywhere, as well as trash. My dishwasher and sink was ALWAYS breaking, and when they would come to "fix" it, it never actually got fixed. It's way too expensive for a shitty apartment that's always breaking, with management not doing anything to help. Maintenance would just come in without notice too. One of my roommates was once stuck naked in their bathroom because maintenance just walked in without saying anything. I would rate this place 0 stars if I could... My only major complaint would be how long maintenance can take for some things, but for the most part they're quick to take care of an issue. After having to go to the office in person (my emails and calls were ignored for two days straight) they finally sent maintenance out to "fix" it. He ended up messing with my electric so now none of the outlets in my kitchen work. I'm currently out a microwave, dishwasher, and oven on top of my fridge. The next maintenance guy said they'll try to fix the fridge but none of the other appliances are being fixed right now because so many employees are out due to COVID. Spoiler alert, that maintenance guy also failed to fix my fridge. So instead of hiring an outside contractor or problem solving, the complex is just leaving everyone high a dry.
