Byrdies by Raspberries N Crème

Cake fell apart by the time we got it home. Extremely dry and such a faint raspberry taste you'd never know it was in there. I love Raspberries N Cream but would not recommend getting a cake from here.

Fun atmosphere; great tasting foodMy lady friends and I had an enjoyable and delicious lunch at Byrdie's today. Unfortunately we were too full to avail ourselves of all the wonderful looking baked treats on display. As you can see from the photos, it has very original and eclectic decor. It was nice to go downtown for a change and dine. I had the Margarita Panini sandwich and deviled egg pasta salad, both were really good.

Decades ago, Raspberries n' Creme was one of the places Mom took me for a special treat. When I saw that Byrdie's had opened a few blocks from home in Downtown Norman, I was joyful for a few of reasons. In no particular order: 1.) Nostalgia 2.) Norman is historically deficient in quality bakeries and dessert spots 3.) It is SO close to home, a.k.a. the best of Norman neighborhoods 4.) the vibe is delightfully eclectic, as it should be.Byrdie's fits in so well and EVERYONE should come check them out! In addition to amazing sweet stuff, you can grab a scrumptious lunch. I look forward to many more anniversary celebrations. If you haven't been in already, check out Byrdie's ASAP and spread the word!

The Grilled Margherita Panini/Caprese was delicious! I chose the pasta pesto salad as a side and it too, was delicious!My sister had the chicken salad and she really enjoyed it.The only downside of the restaurant is the decor. It's claustrophobic with waaaaay too many fake plants and stuff. Next time I will get the panini to go.

I've been to Byrdie's for lunch, and it was delicious! I also met with the owner Nikki to plan an event at the restaurant, and she was so lovely and accommodating! Super cute atmosphere and great hospitality! Definitely swing by and grab a slice of Ribbon Cake when you can!

Not a bad sandwich. Pasta salad is good. Just a bit pricey and shows no prices. You don't receive a receipt either

I've loved Byrdies for years, but lately the flavors in the pastries seem to have absorbed the refrigerator smell - not so yummy.

Nikki did a great job creating exactly what we asked for! The taste of the cake was delicious... vanilla with cream and strawberry filling. Easy and fast communication. A bit on the pricey side for me, but loved it.

This place is so cute and the owners are so friendly!! They serve desserts, sandwiches, salads, casseroles, and many other things. Everything is extremely yummy and it's worth visiting in Norman!

THIS is the quality you will receive if you special order a cake. Beyond my cake falling apart after spending $100, the order wasn't ready on time. The owner of this business takes no responsibility, just passes the blame. Even goes so far as to try and make ME, the consumer, feel bad for leaving a negative review. BUYER BEWARE!
