Budget Floor Store

I had an enjoyable experience at Budget. I had long been looking for new flooring for my kitchen and dining rooms. After visiting numerous stores, I decided to go with Budget. The gentleman that helped me, James, was very polite and not pushy with any particular flooring product. After numerous debates, I picked the color I liked and put in my order. It was a special request and took 10 days to arrive. (Which didn't bother me at all.) The flooring did not disappoint and the install was fairly easy for me. For anyone looking for new flooring, I'd definitely give this place a visit.

I wish I could give them less than one star. These people have made my building project a living nightmare. They first shipped us the wrong flooring and it took another week for the new flooring to get in. This put us over a week behind in our project. Then we were told there would be a five guy team to do the install and finish in about 4 to 5 days. One guy finally showed up three days after the 'team' was suppose to start installing the floors. We are now on week 4 of install and the floors are STILL NOT DONE!! Currently we are almost 6 weeks behind on our project and all of our other work is being stopped because we can not install anything or move forward with anything until they finish the floor. They have cost me time, money and a ton of headache. I will NEVER be using them again nor will I recommend them to anyone!

My experience with tiling a floor at a condo I rent out was completely horrible. They charged me for the tile, ripped the floors out, and then told me they couldn't get the product in. Not one associate bothered to apologize for my inconvenience so I decided to take my business elsewhere. I cancelled my transaction over a week ago and have yet to receive my refund. When I told them I would file a complaint with my credit card company and the BBB Jason Pearson told me "you do what you have to do". The manager Jaret and owner Zach were no help either. They said the refund process was out of their control. How worthless can a leader be? The prices are definitely not worth the hassle you have to go through.

I went into the store on Sunday afternoon and worked with Paul. He was very kind and helpful and said that he would push for a quick install. A long time family pet died on the carpet early that morning and it needed to be changed right away. Though the name of the business is Budget, it was twice the price I typically pay, but I was desperate for new carpet and I couldn't wait over a week for Lowe's. I called the store yesterday morning and spoke with the installation scheduler, George. He stated that he understood that we needed the install right away and said that they would be able to do it the next morning (this morning). He called back right away and said that it would be right after lunch instead.At 2:30 pm today I called to ask when they would be here and I was called back by the installer and he said he'd be here in 40 minutes. He arrived at 3:45 pm, over an hour later, and he apologized for being late. His crew was professional, polite, and clean and they helped me move a heavy television back into place once they were finished and they vacuumed the floor. I'm giving the business 4 stars because the price was higher than what we usually spend and the installers took over 2 hours because they spent at least half of the time on their cell phones, which wasted a lot of time. I am happy with my new carpet and I'm pleased that they sent a polite crew.

Zack Akin is the owner of "Budget Floor Store" 3636 W. Reno, OKC I wanted to return one box of flooring. $40.61 He said it was over 30 days and refused to refund my money. Be aware shoppers that this store manager is not interested in you as a customer.

I had them install some carpet twice. The first install went really good and the 2 installers were really good and did an excellent job. So the very next day we paid what we owed and paid for 2 more rooms to have carpet installed. Even though we requested the 2 exact same installers they sent 2 different installers that were the worst installers I have seen. plus they used a carpet cement on my floor that has my house smelling like a chemical. I had windows open for 4 days straight with no luck and tried other things with no luck. Not sure what the smell is doing to me or my wife plus I have a little dog too. I tried to get rid of smell for 3 weeks to no avail and finally told them about it when they reached out about the second half of my payment. It has been a week now since they have known so I reach out today to see if they are going to do anything and I am told the boss is on sabbatical for the next 2 weeks. So I guess they are not going to do anything except threaten me about not paying the second half of my payment. The first time I talked to the boss the only problem that he saw was that I waited 3 weeks to tell them not the problem with his installers. That is ok I have paid them about 2,100 dollars so far but I will not buy anything from them again.

My experience was the same as Matthew G review. We ordered vinyl floor. Paid. We ripped out all of our carpet and got a call 6 days later they cannot get the product. We had selected a back up floor that we told we could get in case that one didn't work out and we were told they couldn't get it either. We asked what to do next and were told they didn't know. Thankfully we went to the store right next door with our current floor, found one almost identical, and got it ordered. It was much more pleasant and they cared about finding something that worked since we had already ripped up our carpet.

I would recommend ten. Before picking I went to 4 flooring stores and Budget was the cheapest for same carpet! The installers did a good job only one little hiccup and that was they got a small amount on glue on my new carpet! On time and good for the money!

in 2015, purchased top of the line pad, medium quality carpet, plus install; and in 2021 time to replace in hall and breezeway because their installers substituted inferior pad tiles, with 6-8 inches spaces between the tiles in hall and breezeway. crummy way to do business. AVOID THIS SO CALLED BUSINESS.

Very well priced and great selection. Jarret is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
