This was a very nice stay for myself and my bf. The room was well appointed and the finishing touches were beautiful. They really did up the room with faux rose petals and had a lot of faux flowers in the room, which may seem tacky but it wasn't. It really was well thought up. There was a lovely jacuzzi tub in the living room area of the hotel suite we had and a nice love seat with a coffee table and tv. The bedroom had a huge California king bed and flat screen tv. We didn't have their free breakfast buffet so I can't comment on that. Noise level was average during the evening and somewhat loud in the afternoon.Downsides: The outside hot tub and pool were very dirty and in no way inviting. The lamp in the bedroom was broken (as in the actual glass) which could have posed a real hazard and it was pretty evident that they already were aware of this as there was tape on part of it and it was strategically placed so that you couldn't tell right away. That was tacky! Just replace the lamps people. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but still was nice. No fan though so that was a bit odd. I think with some minor upgrades this could be a easy 5 star updated review but for now 4 stars. I may return in the near future. It was a nice stay and the bed was really comfortable.

I could give this place no stars I would. This hotel wasn't even rentable in my opinion. It was under construction and honestly looked like nobody was even working, let alone staying there. It was like a scene out of The Walking Dead. As I walked down the dark corridor of stained carpet, paint peeled doors, and exit signs hanging by their wires, I was thinking I should just cut my losses. When I finally got to the room, it wasn't horrible inside, but I definitely didn't have a good feeling about it. There was an old aluminum sliding glass door to the outside courtyard that looked more like a prison yard. The sliding the door didn't even lock. I called the front desk and they told me there was a bar I could put across it. I did that, but the bar didn't work either and it still left a 8 inch opening that anyone could slip through. To make it worse I cut my finger on aluminum bar. I went to the bathroom to wash my finger and I saw bedbugs on the ground by the door.At that point I just called the cab dropped me off and went straight back to the airport and booked the Quality Inn for $69. It was quiet and clean, very nice. They only charged me for one night stay even though I stayed for two because I told him the story about the previous hotel.I didn't even bother complaining to the Bricktown Hotel. It wouldn't of done me any good night and even pay for the room, a client paid for it, that's another epic story.

We were very displeased with our stay at Bricktown Hotel & Convention center. Positives - The staff was friendly. They accommodated our large group well. The shuttle service was great and took us anywhere we wanted to go. They had no fitness center but the shuttle service could take you to a center and work out for free. We were one of 5 families to stay Fourth of July weekend. Negatives - The location seemed less than safe. We drove up to see boarded up windows which were supposedly due to renovations. The carpet was gross. The bed was super uncomfortable. The pool wasn't open the first day we arrived. There were gnats everywhere. The shower had little pressure and I found it hard getting hot water for a shower, instead it was semi-hot. Breakfast was subpar, even though they had lots of options. Amenities were not good options. Even though they were doing renovations they haven't bothered to replace a window that looks like it had been shot. Bottom line is we would never suggest this hotel to any friend or family member.

This hotel is now owned by Ramada. I got a very good deal on the rates here, and this is my first stay at a Ramada. While the outside and hallways of this hotel leave a lot to be desired, the interior of the rooms are comfortable, clean, and modern. My room has a fairly large fridge and microwave which is fantastic. I've paid more than 4 times this rate at other hotels and 90% of the time there is no microwave.Water pressure in the shower was great and the showerhead is one of those removable handheld ones. Air-conditioning was powerful and cooled the room almost instantly. The hotel is located in just the right spot. A short drive directly into Bricktown. Close enough that you could bike it with ease. The intersection of Reno Ave. and MLK is really cool because you've got easy access to Bricktown, Downtown, the Asian district, the Arts District and more.A downside is that the immediate surroundings of this hotel offer few restaurants or retail stores to choose from. The gas station nearby had the cheapest gas in town that I saw.Another downside is the size of the TV in the rooms. It's pretty small but not a deal breaker. There is no elevator to the second floor.Minor cosmetic improvements would take this hotel to another level. If you're looking for luxury stay, well you probably aren't looking at this hotel at all. Stay at one of the many options directly in Bricktown. But if you want something affordable that gets the job done, and you have a car or bicycle check the Ramada Near Bricktown out.

My friends and I went to OKC for a friend's wedding, and we found Bricktown Hotel through hotels.com. We decided on Bricktown Hotel for their competitive pricing; it was just half the price of the hotels in the main downtown/bricktown area. Plus it was only a hop and a skip away from downtown, where the wedding took place. When we first saw the hotel from the street view, it looked ghetto and nothing like the pictures we saw online. Thankfully, ghetto it was not, and it only looked drab from the side street view. In fact, the interior is pleasant and I really liked Bricktown Hotel. All the hotel employees were really nice and helpful, and our room was clean. Our double queen room had all the amenities you'd expect (desk, coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge, TV, closet space with hangers, iron and ironing board, full-length mirror, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion, and towels). There was also free wifi and free bottled water. The beds were softer than I like, but generally pretty comfortable. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/oqmGzTqBr_Xm_CvjLrRnzw?select=-Y9Qw4e5LQ-BkbvmYbWrTwOne of the best features of Bricktown Hotel is their free shuttle service. It runs 24 hrs and did I mention it's free?! There's even a VIP hummer if you want to feel special. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/oqmGzTqBr_Xm_CvjLrRnzw?select=4uz_A9oynsPXhiz21HpJow Since the main downtown OKC area is about 2 miles from the hotel, we took advantage of the free shuttle service. It's especially convenient if you plan on partying downtown at night. The drivers that we encountered were all really friendly. It's not required but don't forget to tip the drivers! They also have shuttle service running to and from the airport every 3 hours for $15. My advice is to take the shuttle service to the airport unless you have at least 3 people to split a cab. If you have 3 or 4 people to split a cab, it'll be cheaper than $15/person. Another great thing about Bricktown Hotel is their complimentary continental breakfast. They have all the basics like cereal and milk, bagels, yogurt, instant oatmeal, juice, coffee and tea. They also make fresh waffles upon order, and they have fresh biscuits and gravy. The breakfast ends at 10AM so make sure you get there before then if you plan on eating breakfast at the hotel. But never fear! There's a Waffle House across the street if you don't make it to breakfast (or if you get the late night munchies).I was also impressed that the hotel had it's own fully stocked bar and a clean outdoor pool. We didn't have time to take advantage of either but both were unexpected and a great addition to the hotel. If I visit OKC again, I'll definitely be staying at Bricktown Hotel. It's really a great deal: friendly, convenient, and affordable.

So I get FINALLY get a response a YEAR LATER saying that my review could not have possible be true to the treatment I received because of the reception's name! Ha. Well, that might not have been the person's name, but that's the name they gave me. Horrible customer service STILL! Who takes a year to remedy something customer service related anyhow?Ya know, I had many names for that front desk clerk, but I chose to use the one she gave me.My employer still avoids booking this place for any business stays.Terrible experience never ends!

Clean but VERY old! This is a huge place but I wonder how many people actually stay here?? Close to the downtown area with shuttle service [although I didn't use it]. Service was nice and friendly. Our room was decent- a chair had a broken leg and you couldn't sit in it without tipping. The room looks super old and with random pieces of furniture. It's like they try to update a piece but the overall look is not the best. It was clean and we felt safe overall.Nice pool area.Continental breakfast in the morning was ok.

This was a pretty nice hotel to stay at. They're in the middle of renovating and we got one of their older rooms but they weren't too bad considering. I can only imagine that the newer rooms must be pretty nice. The biggest selling feature of this hotel is its proximity to downtown OKC. They had a very convenient 24-hour shuttle that would bring you to and from downtown. This alone makes the hotel worth staying at since you can drink when you get there and not worry about getting a DUI, or have to drive around endlessly for a parking spot and/or pay for parking. With that said, the shuttle drivers need a little work with being a little aggressive in their driving. They should drive a little more defensively and not take corners so quickly. It seemed like it was just a job for them. Not that we're royalty but a little more cheeriness would work wonders. As I said, the rooms themselves were pretty okay. But the bed was a little too firm for our liking (some people like them firm and if so, you'll have no problems). We didn't utilize them but there's a continental breakfast from 6-10 am and an outdoor pool. They have free WiFi and two wired computers to use in the lobby as well as a fully stocked bar (we didn't go the bar but I think he closes shop if there's a long run of no customers at night). Would recommend staying here.

Not very pleased with my stay at the Bricktown Hotel. The staff was very friendly on check in. But, when I arrived at my room, the wheels fell off. First of all, there was no luggage rack in my room. This is maybe a first for me, I can't recall being in a hotel before without a place for your luggage. The shower was one of the worst I've had at a hotel. The water was either freezing or scalding, I tried about every permutation of the hot/cold levels and couldn't get it to stay on warm. So, what was intended to be a relaxing shower turned into a strategy session on trying to catch the water for the 5 seconds when it was a proper temperature before it returned to either skin blistering hot or incredibly cold.I will say the air conditioner worked very well, the room got cold, which I prefer. Also, the bed was comfortable enough, it wasn't the best hotel bed I've slept on, but I've definitely had a lot worse. The property as a whole isn't fancy, and it's a little dated, but I found it to be clean. A lot of yelpers mention the 24/7 shuttle to Bricktown. I didn't need it, but it's my understanding that's a great draw for this place. I will say I saw the shuttles used quite a bit.
