We love boomer lake! Come out here often during the day when it's not busy. Plenty of sidewalk to run, and get a 4k in! Boomer has miles of walking/running availability! Dogs must be on leash, but if you get there early enough, no one is around. I always leash my dog when passers/runners are coming, but it's nice to be able to let her roam a bit when no one is there but us. Nice escape from the city while being in the city.

My favorite park in Oklahoma. I've spent three days here, today was my last day and I went to this park. After taking my dog to several parks, including the one with the little dog area, this was the best. Such nice open area, lovely trail thru the park and river. LOTS of picnic areas, very accommodating as a park.First park I'm coming to when I come back.

We really enjoy walking and running around Boomer. Since Pokemon Go came out there has been many more people there so the paths can get crowded. We like to go just before the sun sets so it's not too hot outside. There can be a lot of goose poop on the paths, but you're outside so deal with it. It would be really nice if the paths were wider. Overall very beautiful and a nice park.

There is a lot to do at Boomer Lake for every age group. Playgrounds, fishing, frisbee golf, running path, tennis court, and boating, to name a few. I loved running the trail in the early morning, but also frequented during the day.The restrooms are pretty gross and bare, but there are always maintenance workers attending to the trail and area, allowing the lake to be very well kept. Tons of parking.

The walking trail around the lake is usualy well kept, and is great for bikes, rollerblades, jogging, walking, dogs, etc. There is an excellent frisbee golf course that is considered to be one of the hardest courses on the pro tours. There are good spots to fish, and there is a boat ramp. You wouldn't want to swim here though. There are a few shelters, restrooms, playground equipment, and benches in the shade. Geese frequent the lake, and are sometimes aclimated enough to people to get close, but some have been known to attack people who got too close. So good advice is to either feed the geese or leave them alone. Don't go chasing after them, or they could start chasing after you.

Nice selection of catfish to catch. I had a lot of fun here last summer. The only thing that bothers me is the parking. Nice to walk around, though.

A favorite place for my family to walk, ride bikes, feed ducks and geese, and play on the playground. The kids love it!
