Great little ice cream stop. The location is great as it's right near a few great eateries and a park. We just decided to walk over after eating nearby. Outside seating only. It got pretty busy when we were there and I began to panic the closer I got to the front of the line. They do allow tasting and since this was my first time, I wasn't sure what flavors I would like. They are uniquely named and unique combinations. So, as I am trying to decide and asking for samples of a couple flavors, I felt a bit rushed as I felt the line growing behind me. The workers were nice and not put off by my indecision. I would have benefited from a handout with a list of ice cream flavors with descriptions of each to review while I was in line.

It was my 1st time here . This is the Dolce Paradiso old location. Craft ice cream that was superb. The service was great. We were able to try many samples, all hard to decide which flavor to pick. We chose to do the 6 scoop mini flight. Perfect when you want to try it all Only $9.50 and worth every penny. My favorite was Hazelnut fudge and the salty dog . We sat outside but the ice cream was melting very fast, I suggest eat out of the heat. Also they do 10% military discount.

Excited to have one of these in Edmond. Inside is small. Not a lot of room to eat inside but they have tables outside. With the park close, you could easily sit over there. Love the wide variety of options. I ended up with the mango sticky rice. I'm shocked how much it tasted like the Thai dessert. Definitely recommend!

My family loves Boomtown Creamery. It's a little gem of an ice cream spot. They have amazing & unusual flavors, as well as rotating monthly flavors. I love trying the new flavors. I recently tried the Graza (olive oil) crumble ice cream, and it was delicious! One of my other favorites is the cherry goat. You can't go wrong with anything they have in their case. They always offer tastings so you can make sure you get a flavor you love. The staff is friendly & the space is adorable & clean. I couldn't recommend Boomtown more!

A tale of two experiences. The first time we tried this spot was last summer. We got a few pints delivered and it was not great. This was due to the fact that they have many different types of ice cream. Some made with goat milk, some with oat milk, whole milk, skim milk, etc. this means some pints will be frozen like a rock, and some will be melty. Some also are typical in texture, and some are not, despite all being the same temp. This meant some of our ice cream was easy to eat, and some was impossible. The candy filled pint we got though was just plain not edible. The pretzels and candy were hard and stale and bleh. However, when you go in person, it's a completely different experience. Firstly, their flavors are awesome and largely unique! This is not your typical vanilla/ artificial chocolate, cold stone creamery type place. These creations and are all freshly made. Some flavors are a bit... out there, but they have standard flavors as well. I will say that even those flavors that are more familiar are made using higher quality ingredients so may not taste quite like you're used to, but in the best way possible. You will still have the melt rate/texture mismatch with different types of milk being used, but at least in person when it's fresh dipped it's all very edible. Their waffle cones are fresh and flavorful as well. They are also generous with the dips! This is a place where you need to come with an open mind and branch out of your comfort zone. I tried one of their limited edition vegan friendly options which is not usually my style and I was blown away.Overall, this is a great little shop if you enjoy high quality ice cream and want fresh flavorful creations for vegans, dairy fans, and everyone in between.

Fun spot in OKC. Definitely recommend the scoop flight to try as many of these delicious flavors as possible. Go with a friend and split 12 mini scoops. The people that worked there were patient and answered all the questions while still keeping the line moving

Hidden gem! In and out place, very small shop with a few chairs to sit inside. The ice cream was amazing! Interesting flavor choices too. Staff was attentive and let us try samples. Large portions but a little pricey.

Great service. Small selection. My hubby and I each tried 2 different flavors. Wasn't impressed. Probably wouldn't go there again.

My family and I went here on a frosty Saturday afternoon in January to celebrate a family member's birthday. One might think that extra cold temperatures might make you lose your appetite for ice cream. But when you have this depth of flavor profiles, it's easy to get in the mood for ice cream. We ordered a cake cone with madagascar vanilla, a cake cone with cranberry orange sorbet, a single scoop of peanut butter cookie, and a kid size scoop of cherry goat. I sampled the first three but mostly ate the cherry goat. The vanilla had many more vanilla flecks than I have ever seen in vanilla ice cream, but it didn't stand out for me. The cranberry orange sorbet was a delicious seasonal flavor that I hope returns every winter; I love cranberries! The peanut butter cookie was a close second favorite to the cherry goat. It conjured up memories of eating Friendly's peanut butter cup sundaes from my childhood. I was particularly impressed with the peanut butter ice cream. One of my pet peeves with other vendors' peanut butter ice creams is that it often has a vanilla ice cream base with peanut butter (and chocolate) swirl. That has its place, but I would much rather have peanut butter ice cream for maximum flavor. Fortunately, that is exactly what Boom Town does with its peanut butter cookie flavor. The cherry goat was my favorite flavor. I don't have a strong preference for chunky ice cream, but the chunks of chocolate and cherries work well in this flavor. If you're scared by the sourness of the goat milk, don't worry. The sugar in the ice cream mutes the tangy-ness of the goat milk. Goat cheese is more sour than this ice cream. However, for those of us that enjoy goat cheese, this is making a good thing better. The mix of flavors in this ice cream is very well done. The tangy goat cheese balances out the earthy chocolate and the bright cherry flavor. There is a water jug next to the cooler holding all of the take-home pints. I appreciate any ice cream shop that recognizes that most of us simply want to sip a glass of tap water with our ice cream. It's even better when they do the reasonable thing and don't charge for it. Kudos to the employee who replaced the cake cone with vanilla at no charge after one family member accidentally dropped it on the floor! The only reason that this review doesn't get 5 stars is that there's barely any room to turn around in this ice cream shop. We were fortunate to get there at a slow time since we got to use the only table in the restaurant. There is also a bar with a few chairs. Otherwise, it helps to think about this place as primarily a take-out spot.
