Boomerang Diner Does it RightIf you are looking for a friendly diner, tasty food, at a reasonable price, this is the place. The three of us stopped here around 9 am on a Sunday morning. The place was busy, but we were able to find a seat quickly. The service staff were excellent and attentive. The menu has plenty of choices, as to be expected from a diner. For breakfast, I chose the Big Breakfast. True to its name, it was sized very heartily. All items - bisquit, gravy, hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon - were very tasty and satisfying. The coffee was fresh and piping hot. Definitely a place to stop in, even if it is just a few minutes off the interstate highway. The atmosphere was typical for a diner, small and quaint, but tastefully done.

Too high for the amount of food received. Half price night makes it a little better but burgers are kiddie sized so you need two anyway.

I stumbled upon Boom-a-rang Diner on a recent day trip to/ from Oklahoma. The inside of the diner felt cozy, and had a small-town 1950's Americana diner feel with red faux leather booths for seating, and a counter where additional patrons could also sit. Our server, Brittany, was very warm and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the door. I ended up ordering the breaded fried mushrooms (which Brittany had recommended), beans & cornbread, and tater tots. The breaded fried mushrooms stole the show! They were so juicy on the inside, and crispy on the outside, which paired well with their [seemingly] homemade cold ranch sauce. The tater tots were okay - a little less warm and chewy in the middle than I'd hoped but still good when I added barbecue sauce. The beans I was not a fan of... they were bland and I didn't know until after a few bites that there were pieces of meat in the recipe (I wish this had been noted in the menu). The cornbread, however, was delicious and melted in my mouth. It was slightly (but not overly) sweet and soft... just the way I like my cornbread. Overall, aside from the experience with the beans, I give this place a thumbs up! I was pleasantly surprised to find a place with *vegetarian* options in a smaller town, and if I find my way venturing that way again I will definitely stop by again!

Definitely worth the stop! The waitress was super friendly amd welcoming especially when she realized it was our first time visiting Oklahoma. We had to wait a couple minutes for a table to open up as they are only at 50% capacity per covid restrictions. I started with the fried pickles which were probably some of the best I ever had. Many places put too much breading on their pickles but these were perfect! I had the blt with waffle fries and my mom had a cheese omelet with homefries and toast. Everything was great. The prices are reasonable and this is a great stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Burger and the loaded fries were great! I would recommend this place. We weren't super hungry so we split our meal but in this case I definitely could have made the minor sacrifice and ordered my own. I just have to cut back a little. Always better to be left still wanting some than feeling to full. I got to talk to the owner and she was nice. She had all kinds of recommendations on places to see in the area. I would come back to eat for sure.

NOT KID FRIENDLY. My husband and I left the hospital and went to go get lunch with our 2 year old and he was full of energy like most kids so he was running around not bothering anyone and we was consistently chasing him trying to keep him at the table and everyone saw us trying. We order our food and waited when our food finally arrived, the head waitress came over to our table telling us our son can't run around and we explained that we know we are sorry we was trying to keep him at the table but kids will be kids she was VERY rude. And our kid was about to sit down to eat!! Then she says it's a safety hazard and they can't let him run around. Like wtf we been to alot of restaurants and everyone's always been so kind and understanding that it's hard to make a kid stay still at his age we gave him phone and crayons but he wasn't interested. I told her I was leaving a review and she said that's fine all rude wasn't even nice about it. I don't recommend this place and we won't be back and the owner told me I should strap him down and make him behave. My son WILL not sit strapped down and will scream till I let him out. Telling me how to parent is disrespectful and not his place he knows nothing about my children and can't even run a good restaurant. The owner also threatened to post the video of my child in the restaurant publicly without my permission because I told him I was leaving a review and letting people know my experience.
