The food is amazing! The food is always a delight-- especially the fish! And the atmosphere is inviting! Highly reccomend the extra few minutes drive to get food you won't be disappointed with!

One of our favorite hometown restaurants. The fish is great but recommend the burgers or anything on special.

Let me first say I was skeptical but wow!! We were in town for a funeral and decided to give it a try. The brisket was melt in your mouth delicious. The potato salad was creamy and flavorful! They were short staffed but the waitress was still very attentive and friendly. I want to go back and next time I'll get the large brisket plate!!

the food tasted like fish and the little logs tasted like corn bread,there was nothing hinting at such flavors,on top of that the ambiance was mid at best no cap fr fr,but the service did make me feel like I was in a nursing home so a W fr fr.

We had an amazing experience tonight. We were greeted right away with a smiling face. The appetizers we had were the onion and pickles. Both were great and when we took the onion off the plate it did not leave a pool of oil like Chili's or Outback! The fish was seasoned well and cooked just right, but the tarter sauce was the star of that plate. You would have a hard time finding a better sauce and it's homemade! We tried the Ribeye and it was cooked as ordered (medium rare). It too was seasoned well and tender some of it was cut with a fork.The young lady that waited on us was attentive and conversed with the table. It was easy to tell she enjoys her job and cares for her customers.If your lucky enough to be there when there is banana pudding left you owe it to yourself to get some!

Let's start with this is not where we intended to go for a steak. We originally heard about a great steakhouse in temple. It was closed for a wedding. Some other friends said this place has an outstanding steak and fish. We all wanted a steak and so that is what we ordered. Two well done, one medium and one medium well. Each came with a salad and a side. I chose okra, hubby chose a baked potato with butter only, friend chose fries and her hubby chose a baked potato with butter and cheese. We also ordered an onion buster. The onion came out with the salads. It was ok. The salad was ok. The steaks were not as ordered, two med rare, one rare and one well. There was absolutely no seasoning on this 16 oz ribeye. Approximately 8 oz was strictly fat. The fat was not crispy or thinned. The fat is usually delicious when it is cooked right. The menu says it is cooked over an open flame. The must mean the stove. It had no flavor what so ever. The okra was inedible. It was almost like it was freezer burned and cooked too long to cover it up. A waitress, not ours, asked if our steaks were good, since she was making eye contact with me, I told her that they weren't good and that they had no flavor at all. She asked if I wanted some seasoning?????$80.00 later we left. No apology from the staff for terrible steaks. No offer to make another one. Just nothing.

The best food in Comanche hands down!! Everything I have tried there I have loved!!! Burgers, Chicken Fried Steak, Shrimp, Catfish and Chile Rellano.

Terrific service and food. Huspuppies are long and really good. And before The meal that give you your side, hushpuppies, pickles, a lemon slice, and an onion on a little plate. The catfish is hot and crispy and I usually don't like catfish but I really liked theirs. They give really generous portions as well. They are kind of in the middle of nowhere but they're not that far a drive. The fries also taste baked and they were crispy as well. They were average, but what gives this place the 5 stars is definitely the catfish. They're probably the 2nd best place to eat in Comanche next to Tribe Pride.

The owners and staff give to the community wholeheartedly. The menu is consistent and they offer frequent specials. This is a wonderful place to meet friends, and make new ones.
