Bob Scott Nursery

A local and small business, definitely a quaint place, and we like to support this type of establishment whenever we can. Although we're nowhere close to being good or experienced gardeners but we are trying to spiff up our yard.There were a couple of cars in the driveway when we arrived and there were steady new arrivals. That just shows it is a pretty popular place. I believe Bob was there as we were browsing. Friendly chap! He found out we'd never been so he explained the set up and how the greenhouses are labelled according to the type of plants they housed, full sun or part shade.I've never been to such a rustic nursery but I got the feeling that they had serious gardeners as their clientele. Friendly too!The customers were chatting to us left and right. Definitely a worthwhile place to check out.We picked up our little "Paddle" whom we spot from afar. It was just what we were looking for to replace the one I'd murdered over the winter. I didn't think we'd find him there so that was really lucky!I hadn't taken any pictures of the place because my phone ran out of juice, but I'm posting a picture of "Paddle" here.

Bob is very nice guy, he had this nursery since 1971.I only found out about it on Facebook when it say flood sales & free gallon plant with $25 purchase. You'll need to take a little golf cart ride to the green house , floor are muddy but you cannot find this price anywhere. He has a lot of native plants you just don't see anywhere else, definitely not at the big box store. Very impressive hosta house, I am one happy customer.

This Yukon, Oklahoma nursery seems a little daunting to find at first -- I mean, I'm not used to going out this far west on Wilshire!Bob Scott Nursery offers a truly premium selection of day lilies, but I've also found wonderful viburnum varieties here, as well as trees and assorted perennials.The quality of the products offered really shines through at this nursery, and the kind and attentive staff never fails to amaze me.Well worth the drive westward!

Great selection of hostas, daylilies and numerous other perennials, shrubs and trees. Very good quality plants and reasonable prices. The Scott's know their plants, and their display gardens are wonderful!
