We ordered a storm shelter from the Home and Garden Show. Biggs told us it would be delivered in March of this year. We have not received it. I spoke to them about it and they told me it would not be delivered until well after the storm season. First they told me it would be in August or September and then 10 weeks from now. They never return phone calls I left several messages and called several times and do not treat people right. So much for feeling safe during the tornado season. I'm very disappointed and the City has been calling them to get my permit changed and they have not returned the call to them either. I think your customer service sucks and you really need to work on that if you want to stay in business. People deserve answers when you say you will do something and then do not.

Biggs Backhoe & Septic! This company and their employees are an amazing example of what hardworking, honest, caring , compassionate people can do and accomplish ! We had an unexpected emergency with our septic system that could have been catastrophic and extremely expensive had it not been for Nick and Lee ! Not only did they show up first thing this morning with a great attitude, they were prepared and did everything in their power to get us back operating. These men weren't looking to throw repairs and costly extras at our family in the middle of a crisis, they were patient in the process and were able to trouble shoot the problem and save me HUNDREDS possibly THOUSANDS (worst case scenario) This company is an example of how My wife and I hope to raise our children and one of Piedmont's BEST examples in my opinion . I appreciate you more than words can describe and hope this makes it back to you gentlemen! I only wish I could do more , keep up the great work.

Don't sign up for yearly septic service, you're just wasting your money. Been dealing with septic backup for several days and they have not resolved the problem and its going on a week since I first called!!!

They never come out every 6 months to check our aerobic septic system like they're supposed to per the contract!! This time we noticed & realized that it had been 10 months since they last checked it!! They have now gone almost a year without checking our septic, and they're expensive at $275.00 a year!! We had to call them today to remind them they had not checked our septic yet, & they do NOT have an organized system to keep up with their customers' maintenance intervals like they should!! Needless to say, we will not ever use them again after our contract is up!!

DO NOT USE THEM. They didn't fulfill the septic maintenance service contract and would not give a refund.

My storm shelter was installed on April 19, 2012 as I expected so there is no complaint about it. However, here is a list of other complaints:1. Fence removed but not replaced - upon ordering the shelter it was explained that the fence would need to be removed but would be replaced to its original state. This was a big selling point for me since we have 2 small dogs. The dogs have to be walked in the backyard on a leash until I hire someone else to fix it.2. Dirt Pile remains - it was our intention to have Biggs remove the dirt from our backyard but the crew refused to haul the dirt off.3. Contract never received - after being told on several occasions that the contract was sent, me nor my wife received one. I spoke to someone at Biggs the day before and was told that the work crew would bring a contract with them for me to sign. The crew did not bring the contract and we have yet to receive one. Therefore, I have to expect that the 10 year waterproof warranty is void. 4. Phone calls not returned - I have called and left messages with the answering service but have yet to receive a call back from Biggs.I must say that for a company which has been in business for 30+ years and is faith based (Colossians 3:23) according to their website, I am very surprised that I am writing this complaint. This is not a matter of money but rather one of principle. I had the expectation that this job would be performed as their website states: "Our experience and integrity means that we treat each job as if it were our own." This was not the case and I would encourage everyone to stay away from this company.
