Big Sky Bread

I always stop in here when I'm nearby. They leave the door open and the whole shopping center smells like wonderful fresh bread! I haven't had any that I didn't like but you can't beat the German Rye!! It makes the best toast!!

This was my first time going to this store. I saw someone post about it on Instagram, and I know how much my husband likes fresh bread, so we decided to try it. We got the potato cheese bread, which had actual chunks of cheddar cheese throughout the bread. Great flavor, we both enjoyed it. We also got a few of the fresh baked oatmeal and oatmeal raisin cookies. Now, those were amazing. They really did taste like fresh baked cookies. All of the bread and cookies are baked fresh daily. I wasn't too impressed with the flavors of jelly that we got. They were very tart, and not very sweet. The only reason for the 4 star and not 5.

Delicious fresh baked bread and cookies! So strange I never knew this place was here, but glad the word finally got around to me and the Mrs. We ordered an assortment of jams; strawberry, peach and blueberry flavors. A little tart, but good nonetheless. I had to try the whole wheat potato cheese loaf of bread and oh man did it have tons of flavor. A couple of slices paired well with fried eggs and beef chorizo sausage for breakfast. Lastly, I couldn't leave without trying their plain oatmeal and oatmeal raisin cookies. They were a tad sweeter than I expected, but super moist and flavorful.

It was a calm ambiance yesterday when went there. A lady who was working there explained everything that they had and they had many types of bread which was shocking for me but I picked the famous one "Honey wheat bread " Nice service with good food.

This is a bakery with great bread. I also liked their jalapeño relish (not sure of the exact name). However, the employees are definitely not a happy crew. They remind me of the bakery scene in that movie Moonstruck with Cher where the workers were so unsatisfied with their own lives they took it out on the customer (Cher in the movie). It makes you feel uncomfortable and like you want to leave. At any rate, I have also bought their cinnamon rolls which only had a small drizzle to icing so they were dry and not sweet. Just doughy. So overall, meh!

This place has baked good down to an Art! Been coming here for several years and my favorite thing to get is any cookie with white chocolate chips! My mom has been buying their Irish soda bread for a long time and that's definitely another favorite! Make sure to preorder it! Definitely worth a visit anytime you're in the Nichols Hills area.

The granola is great and the bread is delicious! Can't go wrong here. Also, the walnut chocolate chip cookie

This has been one of the best hidden gems we've found in okc. Fresh, local bread-- what else could be better?!The thing that makes this place ( other than their fantastic bread) is the kind team that runs this place. Every time we go in we feel welcomed and are taken care of with the utmost care. Be sure to check online for their daily bread specials and call ahead to order if you want something particular.Thank you Big Sky Bread- we are so glad you are here.

Their bread and muffins are to die for!!! I highly recommend that you give them a try. They are closed Sunday and Monday they have a calendar with specials on different days
