Big Red Restaurant

In Oklahoma for the weekend so we stopped into Big Red for lunch. We were told we could sit anywhere, shortly after our waitress showed up to greet us and take our drink order. The ambiance was very family friendly. I liked the whole sports theme, and all the different football helmets on the tables that hold the condiments. The food was pretty good too! I had the Linebacker for my meal and it was pretty tasty. My husband had the BBQ dinner which was pretty good too. The kids had a variation of chicken tenders and corn dogs and they were pleased. Overall good food and for a good price. I will definitely be back when I come back to town.

My parents recently moved to the area and we decided to go to Friday night dinner. I read the reviews about how Big Red had a good breakfast, so we thought Friday fish fry would be fun. I was wrong. All of our drinks had a very strong well water taste to them, including soft drinks. The food was very heavy and greasy. The corn meal was so thick on one of the catfish pieces that I couldn't eat it. The sides were nice and that's what my daughter and I wound up eating. We met a Phoenician transplant who worked there so it was nice to see Oklahoma bringing in some new blood. I did not try them for breakfast but, when we visit again, we may give them another chance. But dinner is definitely out.

Where the locals eat! This restaurant has a robust breakfast menu and the breakfast buffet is for real! Especially for me I enjoyed the biscuits with cream gravy and I put some mushrooms on them, also on the buffet bar.Staff was very friendly, and where else can you hear awesome music at 8 AM on a Sunday morning while you're eating a breakfast buffet?

Did the breakfast call in Ahead and drive through pick up which was extremely proficient!Ordered the classic small biscuit and gravy with a side of sausage. Outstanding flavor and filled me up!Was just what I expected, like homemade wonderfulness!!Thank you very much.

Our daily breakfast go to! Good food, good prices, friendly wait staff, and great to stay and have your coffee/talk! All you can eat breakfast buffet on the weekends, which is a big hit!

Two bites in I bit a huge piece of grissle. I looked up to find the waitresses and a bus girl mocking me. I had been traveling for 24 hours with my little friend to see her momma's grave and stopped to eat. If I hadn't been with her you would have apologized to me then or I would have mopped the floor with her and her buddies. A friend of mine was murdered in front of that restaurant. Maybe you know him? Rodney Davis? His wife's parents used to own the trailer park next door. You will never own anything and be a slave for pennies your whole life, I wasn't Bobbing my head to your shitty music. I was listening to "Do I wanna know" by the Arctic Monkeys. You're so lucky my little docile friend was there.

The service was amazing, and the food was even better! Highly recommend Big Red Restaurant! We are from Iowa and wanted to support a local business! Make sure you stop here if you are in the area!

Good breakfast. Nice, friendly staff. Down home, small town place. Had a breakfast buffet, didn't try it but looked hot and good. Very good prices.
