BIG-O's Pork & Dreams

Still on the hunt for good BBQ in the area. We had the pulled pork sandwiches. They chopped the pork like you would chopped brisket which made it hard to eat without meat falling out with every bite. The fried okra was a bit overdone, but the thick cut fries were good. It was takeout, but the service at the counter was less than enthusiastic to fill the order. The interior was roomy and clean, but empty on a Thursday evening. Might try again since it's close.

This place is delicious and always tons of food when they bring it out. The staff is always nice and they bring your food out to you. I've never had to wait very long for our order. They do run out of ribs early in the day but that's because their good. Their sides are delicious also. The restaurant is pretty good size and I've never seen it full in there. A lot of people come in for to go food. There are tvs with sports on and sports memorabilia on the walls. Would highly recommend this place for a great bbq joint. And it's local, not a chain restaurant which I really like.

The absolute best bbq and cannot wait to return. I cannot speak to the service since it was delivered to me, but I heard no complaints from my fiancé. The portions were big enough to last me for a second and third meal. The baked beans were amazing.

The food service and atmosphere are excellent. It's the best in the metro area. I especially love the bbq beans!

Got Big O's for a Homecoming tailgate party.12 lbs.of brisket, chopped and 6 lbs. of TurkeyBrisket was smoked and chopped perfectly and the included sauces were plentiful and just right combo of sweet and spicy. Turkey was moist, and you know how hard that is to do.

I had the brisket nachos and a half slab of ribs. I wasn't really impressed with either one but the nachos were the most underwhelming. The BBQ sauce on the nachos was far too sweet, the chips weren't that fresh, and the cheese wasn't that good of quality. The ribs were slightly better than the nachos but again it wasn't anything to write home to mama about; the ribs were very tender but lacked in the flavor department.

Looking for large, juicy, super yummy fall off the bone ribs while in Edmond, Oklahoma? BIG-O's Pork & Dreams is the spot for you! Too bad we gobbled our food without taking photos- lol. The Spuds are a meal all by themselves- totally epic! The Fried okra is super crispy and served in a large portion. I also enjoyed the BBQ beans. I preferred the hot BBQ sauce, just a tiny bit of spice in my opinion but very good.

Damn it. I'm pissed at myself for passing by this place for years without trying. I don't even care for ribs and theirs are delicious. Bone slid out like an Irish exit and super tender. Same with the brisket. The okra is fresh cooked, green beans super flavorful and I tried the "dirt pudding" which is like banana conoli cream topped with mushed Oreos. There's a whole menu to explore and we are within walking distance. This is gonna be a dangerous place for my wallet

Being particular about my BBQ. This place did not disappoint. Customer service was excellent. Price point for the location is good. I came at 4pm and the meat tastes fresh and not dry.
