Belle Isle Library

The renovation is stunning. Floor to ceiling windows, bright interior, modern design; a stylish place to get some research done, study, etcLots of computers to use if you need to do any online duties. Chairs and tables all over to use at will. Several rsvp'able rooms for super quiet and focused time with large tables and seating. The accommodations range from few to many in these roomsParking galore, and the exterior is a pretty sight. A nice sidewalk around the building if you want to stretch in the middle of your studies, and the interior is large and spacious for indoor stretching if it's 110 outsideThere is a teen corner that is kind of it's own room, and then there is a larger kids area that is more closed off with slim entries. This does a great job keeping the expected increased noise level of children quelled across the building. Other libraries suffer from this lack of design, so this is a great accommodation for the kids while being mindful of all others in the general spaceI wish they kept the carpeted ceilings tho lol

THE NEW REMODEL IS AHH MAZE ING. Libraries are my church and this one is perfection. Plus, the staff is LOVELY. Go read a book and chill in the mid century vibes with ALL the modern perks.I think I will have my next bday party here.

Terrific (and recent) renovationClose to major shopping, highways, hospitals, restaurants, and more

This is my favorite library in all of OKC that I've visited so far!! The recent renovation is amazing. Due to all the seating varieties and options, even when the library was busy, I was able to find a spot to sit and work! Not only is everything clean, bright, and spacious, but there are also many resources. They have many computers available for use, the librarians have been very helpful, and the flow of the space is really convenient too -- easy for me to return my books at the entry and pick up the books I placed on hold quickly.

So beautiful and clean inside! The study rooms and tables/chairs are great and well kept. Everyone working was very kind and even have a tour when I told them I had never been to the location before!
