Beam Live

Pretty nice music venue tucked away in a plaza (with Full Circle Books and Belle Isle Restaurant and Brewery). They get big names as well, like members of the Wu-Tang Clan. Check it out!

Although I appreciate the fact it's a live music venue there is so much confusion and miscommunication around it. The show we wanted to go to some of the various websites including its own showed the venue was closed that night. They do have several drinks named after various 70's and 80's bands/songs. Not sure they could be good I was driving so I didn't partake. My main gripe is that it seems like they almost just brook cover bands. I don't mind when a band plays a cover or two but when all they do is covers it just makes me wonder how lost their muse must be.

We love Beam Live! Highly recommend this true listening room that puts music first and the fact that it's a dinner club is also very cool with assigned seats (aka no standing all night). There's nothing else like it in OKC!
