BBD2 Diner

My boyfriend and I were in the area and hungry, and we left BBD2 so happy and satisfied with our meals!I had the Texas Grilled Cheese with potato chips, and I also got a biscuit and an order of hashbrowns. The grilled cheese was perfect, and I loved that they served chips with it. Fulfilled a craving for sure. The biscuit was perfect, and they even had packaged apple butter at the table (I was ecstatic about that)! The hashbrowns were THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. Seriously. So good. My boyfriend had the waffles, and they were amazing. He he also got a fried egg (over hard) and bacon, and he said those were great too. He ate all of his food!The environment was very friendly and cozy. You seat yourself, and the building is older, with different posters and records lining the walls. The prices were great as well. I loved that this restaurant has a wide selection of both breakfast and brunch/lunch items. I'm not a big fan of breakfast foods, but my boyfriend is, so we both were incredibly happy with our food. They also have a bar and some different breakfast-themed drinks, which is really awesome! We could tell that the establishment was filled with many regulars, and this was a green flag for us. This place had it all.On top of all this, our service was amazing. The waiter was attentive, and he even made conversation with us as he picked up our check. Don't let this slightly less glamorous side of Tulsa throw you off; this restaurant is THE PLACE to stop!We are definitely making this place a regular stop, as we will be in the area every month or so. We absolutely loved it!!!

Our go to Diner in South Tulsa. Breakfasts are exceptionally good. Phillips 360 is my favorite. Go there to see what it is. My wife really enjoys their chicken and waffle with the siratcha honey sauce. Coffee is amazing. Service is the best in the city. Jake runs a great shop. Enjoy.

Super nice people, good service, and good coffee. Unfortunately my food was less than stellar. I ordered the corn beef hash; tiny pieces of pretty flavorless corned beef. Greasy and undercooked hash browns with undercooked peppers and onions. To her credit, our server noticed that I wasn't eating my food, asked what was wrong, and offered to bring me something else but I wasn't really hungry anymore. I'll probably come back and order something else because the original BBD was one of my favorite breakfasts in Tulsa.

We rolled in around 11:30 am which means the biscuit will be cold and the gravy thick. Seat yourself. We found a comfortable table over by the window with a view of the patio dining area. The sun shining in made it like sitting outside. Nice. The server had menus on the table and had taken our drink orders within minutes. Me, two eggs medium, bacon, hash browns, with a biscuit and gravy on the side. The eggs were perfect. The bacon thick, smokey, salty delicious. I wish my hash browns had been crisper. The gravy tasted fine just a little thick from being warmed until I got there. My wife had the Florentine Omelet (bacon, green onion, spinach and melted Swiss cheese on top) She rated it as excellent. She got the raisin toast as her other side. Her hash browns were noticeably crisper than mine. It is a nice clean café, with good service. We enjoyed the food and the relaxing café atmosphere.

This is our Go-To Brunch place in Tulsa!! Delicious food whether you choose breakfast or lunch!! Great "family" atmosphere due to the upbeat attitude of the managers and waitstaff! Spread the word and give BBD2 a try. You won't be disappointed!!

If you like sweet bbq, this would be an excellent choice for you! The ribs were big and tender, the smoked bologna was good, pulled pork was flavorful. We just don't like sugary sweet sauce, and they drizzled it on all the meat. We could see the brown sugar crystallized on top of our meat. The fries were good hand cut fries. The coleslaw was really to mushy and d creamy for me.

Eating our last breakfast in Tulsa Oklahoma for this trip at one our favorite breakfast diners BBD2. Obviously I avacado toast for a reason. I have had Avocado toast all over from the East Coast to the Midwest and this by far is the best I have had. The menu description does not give it justice I'm not sure what they do but that it's not just a smashed avocado there has to be some type of season that gives it the little extra kick and that being on top of "Everything" wheat toast topped of an egg poached perfectly it is a to die for breakfast if you're wanting to be healthy. My only wish is that I could find avocado toast that I enjoyed this much where I live. Oh yeah I also wish they sold merch online. Because I would definitely representing them on the East Coast. If you can't tell by this I will be back in the next time I am in Tulsa see you then!!!

Food and variety is very good . Pricing is competitive with the quality of food. The service personnel are some of the best in Tulsa. Very personable and attentive. The ambiance is homey and warm. Parking is extensive especially considering of hours of operation. The only critiques are I wish they would open at 6 am and offer a cafe latte. Other than that , it's my favorite!

Service was good but worse breakfast I've had. Ordered avacado toast; toast burned, very little avacado...just a thin spread, but thick tomatoes and lots of spinach leaves. Oh yeah, and an overcooked scrambled egg on top. I told service about toast and complained about the lack of avacado and I was told they were "sorry".

This is a mid-Tulsa staple for breakfast. Great food, fast and friendly service, and a perky "good morning" vibe. The oatmeal was hot and had great texture (I despise slimy oatmeal) with nice things like brown sugar and pecans to sprinkle on top. My dad's waffle was hot and crispy, just like he likes it. We also got scrambled eggs on the side and they were cooked well and were hot. Can't wait to go back!
