Bark Avenue Dog Grooming

Nemesis..,,,, The pit puppy shown is super happy. She just needed a nail trim and Bark Ave on May Ave was very happy to have her and well vice versa.....Thank You for the prompt service and price was right......See y'all soon and any others that may need some fur baby service..... We've been using bark avenue for several years, and they consistently provide excellent service. They are so good with our Lady. They are always friendly and courteous. I think their prices are reasonable.

Took my dog here to be groomed because everywhere else seemed to be full or not taking new clients. I'm about 3 hours they had him looking wonderful (and he's a husky so 3 hours is on the shorter side typically for a wash and de-shed.) I wish there was more parking because drop off was pretty hectic with a tiny driveway and dozens of cars but we figured it out. I'd definitely come back here!

I brought my corgis (2) to be groomed and the staff that runs the shop are beyond super amazing and friendly , answered every question I had and took really good care of my fur babies. When I walked in their building smelt literally so clean and fresh, shocking I know for it being a place that cleans animals. The prices are super affordable and when there done they get cute little bandas . I'll definitely be back to get my dogs taken care of .

Well I just tried calling to see if they would work with my dog. They answered and seemed to be too busy to answer my questions. Instead of telling me if they would work with me they told me they were sorry and that they were 5 weeks out for new dogs. The person I spoke to didn't answer my questions or take the time to really pay attention to what I was asking and was frankly unprofessional

New to town and looking for a place to go for my prince boss toy poodle dictator. We took him here for the full groom package. He definitely needed it. They washed and cleaned him and gave him the cutest little haircut. Many compliments can attest to this fact. A little bandanna topped of his new do which unfortunately fell off soon due to his attitude but it was heartwarming while it lasted. He had many matts prior to his appointment but they handily took care of them and still kept him with a lot of hair remaining. The entire ordeal was just over $40 so not a bad price. Grooms are by appointment. Dropped my baby off at his 1030 appointment and picked up at 1330. They give you a pickup time and text when he is ready. We will be returning !

If I could give a 0 rating I would! I usually groom my dogs off and on and took all 3 of my dogs here end of 2022. I did not have any problems so I took 1 of them back about 2 weeks ago and he has a few claw hanging off the back of one his feet and when I picked him up it was bleeding. I didn't say anything because it was really long and hard to tell where to cut. Then I took my other 2 dogs back last week 1/24/24, 1 being a schnauzer and 1 a small Morkie. When I picked them up and got home I noticed my Schnauzers ears were bleeding. I took him to the vet to verify my concern and they did cut the inside of both of his ears. I tried calling there Friday after leaving the vet and got no answer. They're not open the weekend or Monday so I left a message and got a call back today, 1/30/2024 from a female manager. I politely let her know the situation and just let her know that I did not appreciate them not telling me. He's a younger dog and has only been to the groomers 2 times so I would've been more understanding if they told me he didn't sit still etc and it was an accident. The manager over talked me and kept saying that it was from "plucking" the hair in his ears. When I tried to explain I have pictures of his ears bleeding and where there is a clear "slice" on his ear, showing raw skin she just kept talking over me. I let her know I would not be coming back and she just stated "ok". I am really disappointed with this groomers, more because of how they acted with my complaint. I will be trying to get in contact with the owner but doubt I will find them. I just want people to be aware. The grooming itself always looks good but the quality of care is 0.

Tried this groomer today. I was able to make an appointment 2 days ago. There were 4 people working on dogs. My pup was there about 3 hrs. She looks great. Yorkie cost $50. There was dog hair everywhere. I am not too worried that they don't sweep up after each trim, but it would be nice. Convenient location on N May Ave., easy parking.

Happy place for my dog. They are always busy, friendly and professional. So glad I found them.

Just a heads up. Not where you want to have your dog groomed. Our dog had an ear infection after being bathed and groomed at Bark Avenue. $150 vet bill. I was told that included cleaning of the ears. One of the ears looked like it had some hair plucked out and the other one not at all. Talked to the owner who said he would call me back after talking with the other owner. Did not receive a call back. I have also called up there several times and left a message with no call back. Just not very professional !
