Bargain Thrift Store

One of the best thrift store I've ever been to, I left an item there and went back the next day to get it. Well it wasn't where they usually put them so they ended up call the cashier at home and then still had to walk around looking until they finally found it. These guys went above and beyond to find the item and get it back to me and were as nice as they could be while doing it! They never once looked like it was a problem and were happy to help me which you don't fond often these days! I can't tell you how much I appreciate what they did and how sweet they were while have I g to look all over the store for it! Thanks again :) And please stay as sweet as you are! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!

Stumbled across this thrift store and was pleased in all of the beautiful statement pieces I bought. The pieces included an African wooden necklace, a beautiful collared metal necklace, and designer belts. All below $6!!! The only con to this place is that there's no changing rooms. Couldn't buy any clothes and there were plenty of beautiful clothes. Advice for this place... make a fitting room so you can sell more. All in all, I'm glad I came in because of the accessories.

I stopped in at 7:50 pm and was turned away saying that they were already closed. I asked if they close at 8 pm, as noted on the door, they told me they do but they want people out before then. If you close before the time on the door, then take the hours off said door. Poor business practices.

Bargain Thrift is just what is sounds like - Always a bargain! The best part about this thrift store is their massive discounts. Almost every colored tag is discounted anywhere from 10%-90%. This is a pretty good sized thrift store and its packed with mostly clothes and a little bit of housewares/miscellaneous. As usual for most thrift stores, its mostly stuff from the early 2000s that you finally convinced your Mom to giveaway. But the fun part about thrift stores is finding that special item that is either cute vintage or something you can alter to bring into 2013., Major downside is no dressing rooms, if it's crowded the aisles are a little narrow/crowded, and the furniture/larger item selection isn't huge. But for me, it only takes a few awesome finds to make a thrift store awesome!

I am never quite sure how things end up at one thrift store over another, but in all my adventures hunting for vintage collectibles and art, Bargain thrift rarely disappoints. I have on several occasions discovered terrific art finds. I think they may buy up remaining items from estate sales versus simply taking collections from the public. Depending on whether I hit or right or not, there will numerous high-end items priced pretty reasonably. Be sure to take your iPhone and Google the artists' name or descriptions of the glassware, etc. Some of my better finds include and entire collections of original Jewish art; a painting by Colette from 1978 and a painting by Louise Sherpa Lovett from 1935. I have passed on many more items because I was not sure if they were of value or not. Bargain Thrift also has large collections of everyday dinnerware for sale. Also, I've found highly collectible Tupperware and Club Aluminum here. These items can be almost impossible to find at other thrift stores. This store also has a lot of clothes, bedspreads and some furniture. None of the furniture has ever seemed worth a second glance. Scour the purses and you might find a gem. I did and sold it on ebay for $100. I also found a Knipps vintage Umbrella, which is so cool! The downside of Bargain Thrift is the same downside to every thrift store. You have to wade through a lot of junk to find the treasure. In my opinion, it's easier to do this at BT than any other thrift store in town.

I have been to many thrift stores and this one is the BEST kept secret. It's a giant store and they always have a great selection of items from furniture to clothes and other knick knacks. I love their pricing system. Every Sundays (sometimes every other Sundays) are their sale days when they move the colored tags up a higher discount. I have told many of my friends about Bargain Thrift Store. Honestly, I'm a little nervous that if a lot of people know about this little gem, than the competition is higher for me to be there early to get first dibs. Maybe I should have told you all not to come here, after all. Just kidding. I can't even lie and say it's not a great place.

Love this thrift store. Easy to find what you are looking for. Employees are very friendly. Half off on every other sunday.

This place is awesome for its home goods. You can score some seriously amazing things like Halloween costumes at 50% off. Or even a NIB bread machine for 7.50! I have spent 3 hours in here when I had only assumed I would spend 20 minutes.Come join me and find a stellar deal!Be aware there is more full priced than percent off items but its too high.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in OKC. I have been a lifelong thrifter and regularly stop here. Let me break it down for you...Pros: Lots of bric-a-brac. Tons of dishes and glassware. Lots of knick knacks. Great place to find books, and they always have lots of small appliances. Also have good selection of furniture and decor as well. Tons of kids toys. Good selection of books and linens. Always well stocked with clothing. Lots of purses and shoes. Some items are bagged - prices are pretty good here unless it is something they think is special. Color coded tags and graded discounts according to color. Staff is friendly, and I don't think I have ever found an item here without a tag. Cons: Store is not well organized. Be prepared to dig. It is not uncommon to find broken glassware or dishes on the shelves. Some of the furniture (IMO) should be put in the dumpster. This place does not seem to have a standard of cleanliness or condition when it comes to furniture. I do not think this store is very clean. Almost always has unsupervised children running and playing in the toy section while their parent is in another part of the store. If you don't mind digging and if you can deal with a little disorganization, you can find some good treasures here.

I am trying to get in touch with someone who could do something about the horrible service that a woman and her 2 kids received there. I have left a message through fb ,I tried to call and tell about something that I witnessed happening the other night and the person who said he was the general manager said they should've kicked me out as soon as I 1st cussed them I wasn't even involved I just wanted to talk to him and tell him what I had seen and heard .He never gave me a chance said that and hung up on me.I called back he picked up the phone said nothing put me on hold he won't talk to me I care now not to talk to him . Someone has given them the power to which they feel they can walk on water and treat people disrespectful if that is there using that family did not deserve what they went through in that store that night I shop there quite often and I will say this more often than not it is not a welcoming environment especially when it gets close to closing time to which it was this night your worker with great pleasure called her the B word when she went up front to complain about it to the guy he shrugged his shoulders and said what do you want me to do about it I'm just a worker I'm not a manager so the girl came up right then and called her another B word and told her I could have you barred from here . It would be very nice if I could somehow have contact with you (owners) to know you care about how your customers are treated in your place of business I would love to tell you what I witnessed in your store in front of a small child who only wanted her mom to buy her 2 shirts she herself was carrying them , The mom told the worker several times look at how you're acting in front of my little girl this is a very small child about I would say maybe 6, 7 at the most Figure of speech I didn't have a dog in this fight until the GM today decided that he didn't wanna talk with me because he thought I was the person involved that night but another figure of speech I was on the outside looking in and your help was 100% in the wrong for what happened that night and they should not be allowed to treat people like that, I work with the public and have all my life and I never would ever treat someone like that or I would expect to be looking for another job.
