The guy who runs this place is friendly and helpful, yes, but the "fresh produce" section is almost always completely (or at least mostly) barren, and you might want to check the expiration dates on a lot of the dry goods before you buy them. The dairy section is also pretty sparsely stocked.Bad part if town? Yes, but you're not here to peruse the real estate selection, now are you?

Get your frozen hilsa fish here, along with a large selection of halal beef and lamb, both in packaged (e.g. commercially frozen hamburgers) and unpackaged (i.e. large pieces of bone-in meat wrapped in plastic) form. Also, a decent selection of basic spices and South Asian dry goods at reasonable prices. However, despite the sign out front advertising fresh fruits and vegetables, the produce coolers are empty. The dairy selection is close to bare, with just one package of paneer and a small carton of sour cream. The refrigerator case did also sport a a few cartons of galub jamon and other sweets, made in Irving TX.In other words, covers some basics just fine, but by no means comprehensive. The man working the counter the day we were there was as nice as can be.
