Ballers Bar and Grill

This was my first time coming to Ballers Bar and Grill, it was karaoke night a lot of country music. I didn't mind I just wanted to have a drink. They didn't have the tequila I drink like Don Julio, I asked the bartender to give me the best blanco tequila on ice. No casa miga, she recommended Lola which was pretty tasty. The bartender that helped me was quit nice, there was a bartender with dark hair. I couldn't get her name she attended to everyone around me but never even said high to me. It was like I didn't exist, clearly they could see I was a first timer. Not a good first impression, as I sat doing a homework assignment i started noticing a few other hip hop and oldies songs getting played. Not sure who did that but thank you. They read the room and wanted me to feel included as I was the only melanated American in the bar. I wasn't able to try the food, I'll come back to try and update the review after. To the staff please make sure all your guest feel welcomed, a simple hello will go a very long way.

We had dinner and drinks at Ballers by OKC Airport on a recent trip through OKC. The place is a cross between a dive bar and a sports bar, with pool tables and live Karaoke when we visited. The appetizers were good, with the Pretzel and cheese standing out. We ordered some Tito's and Tonic with lime, that were just not good at all. The Tonic was flat and tasted horrible. The Steak Sandwich looked more like a steak quesadilla, with tiny cuts of steak sandwiched between what looked like Pita Bread. The Chicken Sandwich was pretty awful also. It was hard, chewy and lacked flavor. The 3 star review is for the excellent service the waiter provided us, otherwise this would be a one star review for the food and drinks.I'm hoping that the kitchen and bar will do better next time...

If there was something lower than a 1, I would give it. Food was pretty good, but 5 of the 10 meals were wrong. Two meals didn't even come out until everyone else had eaten, then one of those was wrong so she said never mind, just take it back and the other was so bad he only ate a couple of bites. They gave them a free drink each as compensation. Plus the waitress took a hit off her vape and blew it over my daughters drink. Our family will never be back and I strongly recommend you don't go either. I give Ballers on South meridian ZERO stars. AVOID this one.

They have a great menu. We had the nachos, a burger and wings, and chocolate cake. Excellent! The waiter Stephen was great, kept us full with drinks. It was nice and quiet with music playing in the background and not loud.

Such a cool place! The service is top notch, the food is great and they had great service! The managers and staff came and checked on me numerous times! Great place absolutely need to check it out especially on games nights!

Food is amazing. Alliyah was great I would highly recommend! My friend got the steak and I had the burger the buns were incredibly delicious!

Man, my visit starts off great. It was 3:30p on Sunday. I wanted to try something new. Those that know me know I'm a foodie and love new places.Started off with a cool ambiance. Can't remember his name, but he gave me a phenomenal tour of the place. I chose my seat at the bar. It appeared slow and I wanted to order quick. The bartender started off well, attentive, informative and just the right amount of "flirt". I ordered an F5 from Coop. The beer was at an optimal temp and the glass was clean (noticed the lines the head left behind). However, this could be elevated by serving in a cold or frosted mug.Next, I ordered the pretzel. It was huge and definitely the highlight of my meal. I let it sit to see if it would fall apart off the hook. It held its composure. The beer cheese was good, but quickly cooled off and coagulated. If this was served in a hot bowl with hot plate, it would have been perfect. This might be the reason I come back.Of course being a sports bar, you can't go without wings. We'll, other than the flavor and being perfectly cooked, I could have done without. They were literally the size of my pinky. I get the whole food to cost margins, but this was underwhelming. I'd be willing to pay more for larger quality wings I definitely understand my timeline in which I grabbed a bite to eat, but I was put off when my bartender asked me to close and reopen a new tab with the next shift. I unfortunately obliged, she continued to hang around and cht with the next shift on the floor and I never saw the next bartender -as I wanted another beer.Have a feeling this place will have the same fate as Shorty, Kona, and Brielle's.I've heard the same family is opening up the old Panera shop that was once a Hispanic soccer bar, next to their current facility.Update: Thanks, Micah -for reaching out. Y'all are pretty new and I'm happy to give you a second try. The pretzel is DEFINITELY worth coming back for. I'll give you guys another try.

WORST experience I've ever hadWe show up 2 hours before they close and we were informed that the kitchen is closed and they can only do drinks. Okay fine, we order drinks, and then proceed to get rushed out after the drinks, telling us that we have to leave and take our drinks away at 11:40, on a Friday night..DO NOT RECOMMEND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT WANT YOUR MONEYFUN FACT: my boyfriend tipped like 30% and still got awful service

The food here is truly amazing, everything is super fresh! Absolutely would recommend the queso, burgers, and the steak sandwhich!
