Ballards By The Lake Bed

I had the opportunity to stay at Ballard's by the Lake Bed and Breakfast and Event Center on November 16, 2023. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you must add this to your list! I was warmly greeted with a genuine smile by the proprietor, Mr. Leverette, who spared no expense in creating a calm, cheerful, and comfortable space to relax, work remotely, or sleep in without any disturbance or distractions. The 1 bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment has everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It is nicely equipped with beautiful, modern amenities to include a full-size refrigerator, coffee bar, full stove/oven, microwave, full bath with a blow dryer, 65-inch flat screen television, Wi-Fi, soft comfortable couch, private office space with desk, and beautiful lake views from the open-plan living area and bedroom. The décor is first-class flowing with shades of blues, tans, and neutrals that blend so well, you cannot help but feel you are in a safe and serene space. This is no exaggeration - it is truly a wooded paradise. Even though everything is well-placed and put together, there is no need to feel as though you cannot touch anything - everything is impeccably clean and comfortable, sanitized and shining, alluring, and inviting. You can easily sit and put your feet up without a worry or care in the world for your safety or security. The secluded but easily reached spot is quiet yet mesmerizing. You can simply stay inside and blissfully stare out the window or engage in something more active such as walking or biking around the lake, taking in the sights, and sounds of nature or relaxing by the fire pit. Nestled in a wooded area across the street from well stocked and picturesque Langston Lake, you can sit out back and listen to the crickets at night or look up at the stars. It is simply the ideal place to relax and recharge. The next time you feel worn down and in need of rest for your mind, body, and soul, I invite you to plan an escape to Ballard's by the Lake. Whether a lengthy stay or an overnight get-away, Ballard's BTL is an ideal choice for the novice, as well as the seasoned traveler.
