avid hotel Oklahoma City Airport

Overall had an excellent stay of 2 nights here recently. Front desk and staff were friendly and the room was clean. Stayed with a bunch of my personal belongings in the car and everything was still there when I checked out.

This was my 2nd time staying at this particular location as well as 2nd time at an Avid Hotel. This location is very convenient to getting to the airport and various restaurants around the vicinity.The lobby is very bright and very inviting, they have a selection of items available for breakfast (free) and have items that can be purchased at any time of the day.The rooms are very clean, not sure if they offer larger ones than what I have stayed in. Definitely no more than 2 people in a room.The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.This will be my go to location when flying out of OKC to return home.

Honestly, this should have been a 5-star but with the faux pas encountered, I just can't give it. Pretty immaculately cleaned lobby & room (minus one hair in the shower). Friendly staff!Here are the errors made, all requiring a new phone call to front desk (ugh):1) no soap in shower and only 2 sets of linen (despite checking in as a party of 3)2) 2 facial tissues in the box. (I mean, literally someone took 1 of 2 sheets, rearranged it to be pretty while leaving ONE sheet in the box!)3) Couldn't get internet to work on the computer 4) As we were preparing for bed, we all of sudden begin hearing continuous stomping. Called front desk, he said "I usually don't put children over others". The real question is--in a hotel with I'm sure 150 rooms, and maybe 15-20 cars in the parking lot. Why wasn't EVERYONE spread out??? No one needed to be immediately over anyone. That seems pretty elementary in the hospitality game. Lastly, the thermostat seemed to jump temps at times. I did not complain because at first, I assumed it was teens/young adults. Overall, I'd stay there again. I'd just double check everything before relaxing and ask for a top floor.

As a frequent traveler there are certain desirable characteristics one wants in an overnight stop.-quiet-clean-close to hwys, interstates-secure-quick in and outAvid, meets and exceeds all these and more. The Avid brand of IHG is comparable to Hilton's Tru concept so comes across in a very similar way. This location is apparently the 2nd Avid in the US. The staff was kind, courteous and helpful, parking was a breeze and this location is located close to the OKC airport, Interstate and dining as one would want. The room is on the small side but it's part of the overall design and concept, the room is quiet, we didn't experience much noise intrusion even as we we were placed on the 1st floor which I don't prefer. The Large TV was high end, seemed to be ULTRA HD even appeared to be 3D at times. The sheets were extremely soft and the bed was comfy.We'd stop in again, we redeemed the stay from hotel points which was an easy process.I recommend AVID if you need a brief overnight.

Call me an avid hotel fan! This was a superb stay in every way and a brand of IHG I would gladly stay at again. From the moment I walked into a crisp, clean, modern lobby to the moment I checked out, everything was great. Customer service was excellent, and the ladies running the show did a fantastic job the whole time.The rooms are smaller but modern. It reminded me of the tru Hilton brand but much better. Everything was clean to a tee, and the rooms were comfortable with the typical IHG bedding and pillows. There was 24/7 coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby made fresh by a machine (as opposed to sitting coffee). The breakfast was excellent, complete with the standard fruit, yogurt, and grab bag type stuff (cereal, granola bars, etc.); there were also hot sandwiches, though this was the only hot item. However, they were pretty solid.This is definitely a winner. Let's hope it stays that way.

First off there rooms are flawless modern accents throughout there breakfast to me is better then average option wise wether a everything bagel to quiche to chobani Greek yogurt to jimmy dean sausage egg biscuit (with nutrition facts on wrapper) also first hotel I haven 2% 1% & whole milk in the own stainless steel pitchers there was alot more I could divulge in but to me personally presentation goes along way Also Trinity at the front desk was very accommodating to my needs when you ask her a question she tries to see what's in her authority to fix the issue or get authority to fix your problem & as far as authority Ashley Fields was the access to the happiness for my stay & Anywhere Flight Attendants Stay you no it's Top Shelf

Shoutout goes to Rosa for a great check in and overall the staff of the hotel was also very pleasant as well always saying hello and being friendly. Rooms were fantastic with new decor and style and beds and pillows were great too ! Breakfast was the highlight of the stay with endless options from breakfast sandwiches , coffee and fruits. 5/5

I had an amazing stay at this Avid Hotel location. The property is new and has outstanding amenities. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel gym was top-notch and provided more than the average hotel gym. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. This hotel also offers complimentary breakfast. I had a very comfortable stay and a great night of rest. I highly recommend this hotel, it's conveniently located near most attractions and the airport in Oklahoma City.

Spartan. Best I can say about this hotel. Clean. No bugs. Towels were thin. Only two of them. No coffee maker! No coffee maker? $100 a night, I want coffee in my room. Bed was comfy. No carpet. The room was small. I would compare it to Microtel. Microtel with no coffee maker. There was a fridge. Small. No microwave. There was an iron and ironing board. No closet. Bulk soap in the shower and on the bathroom counter. Nice shower. Good pressure. Breakfast was sparse. They did have one of those fancy new coffee grinder/brewer machines. That was a plus. Convenient location. Close to airport,downtown and Interstate. I guess I am more used to IHG properties with more amenities. I would probably stay here again mainly due to the cleanliness and convenience.
