Atwoods Ranch & Home

This is a relatively new location in Mustang off Sara Road. It has any enormous parking area so if someone did come in with a trailer it would definitely fit in the parking area although the entrance might require a seasoned driver. There's a pretty broad selection for your home or farm. We saw everything from clothing and shoes, housewares, bedding, toys, lawn equipment, livestock feed, and supplies. Lawn furniture and larger equipment outdoors. The prices seem to be moderate for what they offer and pretty decent sales. Don't skip the free popcorn at the front of the store! Service animals are welcome (or appear to be that way with the number of dogs I saw). The staff were helpful - didn't hesitate to help us. A few of them smiled. That's refreshing!

I purchased a clothing item and it was damaged and had to be returned. They store exchanged the item for the exact same size. Having tried on the item before the original purchase I did not try on the item for a second time, assuming the size of the item would be the same and I had tried it on before purchase. I then washed the new item and hung it in my closet. When I went to wear it, the item was dramatically different in size. I then attempted to exchange the item for the exact same size. The return was denied because they said that they will not take back items after washing. (The first item I returned was also washed once.) At this point, I am stuck with an item I can't wear. I feel like Atwoods doesn't stand behind their products. I am a retail manager and I make decisions like this often. Sometimes you do what's right for your customers. I know they can return the item for credit and just choose not to. Lesson learned. Last clothing item I ever buy from Atwood's.
