Arbuckle Mountain Original Fried Pies

This is the coolest place!!! people standing there with their own hands, making homemade fried pies fruit filled or savory.. absolutely delicious.. The service was very friendly. The place is set up similar to a gas station, but roomy on the inside very clean and people are there for the fried pies. Let me tell you they know what they are looking for and want when they walk in lol a great find!!!

the fried pie crust itself is really good! crispy and light. the shells are not too thick. fillings range from sweet to savory or a bit of both! the dinner pies and breakfast pies are made to order so theyll be hot. the ready to eat pies are the sweet filled ones (sold room temp). im sure the lovely team running this shop can heat up the pies if you ask them to. We got 5 pies: 1. Ham N Cheese (cheddar)2. Pizza Style (cheese/pep & tomato sauce)3. Chkn Fried Steak (w.mash/white gravy)4. Turkey Dinner (turkey, stuffing & gravy)5. Coconut CreamPies are cheap, fillings are not made in-house, some was a bit too salty for our liking so grab a drink to wash it down! The team here are so friendly and polite. we really enjoyed the pies and will definitely stop by here again!

On our drive through Oklahoma we looked up what Oklahoma was known for in regards to food, and fried pies came up. I'd never heard of them (unless this is similar to a hot pocket), so we veered off course to try them.Amazing! I had a spinach and mushroom which was almost like a pot pie in a flaky pastry blanket. So delicious!!My only suggestion would be to take it to go as the dining area is very small and not as comfy as I would like. The space is obviously older and crowded, but the food is yummy!

I always try and hit this exit off I-35 just for the fried pies. These are truly so yummy and the pie dough is better than any of my granny's have made (shh don't tell them).It's the perfect texture and flakyness! My favorite flavors so far are SF peach and pecan. They will even warm them up.. but usually they have fresh ones ready to go for you! They also have soft drinks, frozen pies, and and an eating area. Restrooms are clean for a bonus! Most staff is friendly. Highly recommend a stop here!

FANTASTIC.We swung by here as we entered OKC. They have a GAZILLION pies: sweet, savory, cream, breakfast, etc. It's difficult to choose but I had to go for my OG favorite pie: cherry. GF ordered apple. I wanted to give the cream pies a whirl so ordered vanilla. They were all better than sex, without question. I wanted to try a savory pie and I greatly appreciate them offering a vegetarian option however it had mushrooms so if you, like me, don't like mushrooms, you're going to need to stick with sweet.

We stopped at Arbuckle Mountain Pies while driving through Oklahoma on our way back to Texas, eager to try their fried pies. Unfortunately, our experience was a bit underwhelming. The pies were ready to eat if you like cold pies. So when we got home we heated them up, but the crust ended up being doughy and soft rather than crispy, and the filling was just average. While not a terrible experience, it wasn't impressive either. We wouldn't be too disappointed if we didn't stop by again.

Great selection and service! I never had fried pie before but I love it! Fry anything and it will taste good for some reason haha! Ambiance inside is like a typical mom and pop donut shop, and the people in front are sweet and welcoming! Also they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. Definitely will be coming back often!

Food/Drink 5/5We got a blueberry, peach and chocolate. They were all delicious hot and cold. They had flaky crusts and plenty of fruit filling that was not too sweet. Yum. Service : 5/5Nice owners who made the blueberry pie while we waited. They had run out and they said it would take 4 minutes. Conclusion : We will definitely be back again this trip!

So many great options! We love this the place and the fried pies are always made fresh in house! The staff is very friendly as well.
