They have an awesome selection of everything from tiny things to large furniture, no modern things filling space. The service is impeccable, always helpful and knowledgeable, but not pushy like some shops. Their prices are great, too. One of my favorite antique shops in OKC.

Ancient of Days is kind of the "anchor store," if you will, of a collection of antique shops on NW 10th in OKC. This shop has higher end antiques with a lot of 19th century furniture and European imports. But, it is a vast shop and the bargain hunter can find something as well. There is room after room of treasures in this very eclectic store. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

This is in response to Patrick's review. If you want a garage sale or flea market, Patrick, well, the city's filled with them.Higher end shops have high overhead; it's true.Haggling is NOT appropriate in every given venue. PERIOD.You tried to malign 23rd Street Mall with a similar review, Patrick, and it is (to say the least) thoroughly inappropriate on your part. To paraphrase what I had to say in a similar response to one of your "I can't haggle here" kvetch sessions, it's like walking into a Chinese restaurant and then bitching because you can't get chips and salsa. In other words, the world is not your giant flea market, and it's unfair to treat it as such -- particularly via Yelp and other online reviews. These locally owned businesses are owned and operated by hard working folks and dedicated vendors who deserve better. Pick on flea markets if you want to review flea markets, please, Patrick.Melinda (the site manager) and David (the owner) both do a marvelous job of keeping this shop/vendor mall in tip-top shape. And yes, they and their vendors know what they have and know how to price it accordingly. (Imagine! The very concept of knowledgeable business people who know what they're doing and then doing it, Patrick!)But back to the shop/vendor mall itself:I miss the Western Avenue location, yes, but rents on Western Avenue soared (thanks, ghost of Aubrey McLendon!) and thus the exodus. The 10th Street location's heavy on Victoriana and other traditional antiques and collectibles. Lots of paper goods/ephemera, too. (Oklahoma history buff? You'll have a ball in this place!)Some primitives. Some advertising.Don't go in expecting Mid-Century Modern, nor scads of 18th century Georgian antiques, nor tons of Sixties kitsch.Clean, well lighted.Oh, and VERY easy to find. One of my favorites in town? Yup. Each and every time.

It's not that this place is terrible, because it's certainly not. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The main problem is that it's just SO EXPENSIVE! This antique store is definitely for the upper middle class antique collector, in my humble opinion. Don't get me wrong, they have some things that are reasonably priced...however, those things are few and far between. If you're like me...you like to find bargains, you like to haggle prices, and most importantly...you like to "feel" like you've gotten a good deal. Well, this place just doesn't allow you to experience any of those things. With all of that being said, this place has unbelievably beautiful pieces of furniture. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that they have some of the best, if not the best, antique furniture in the entire city...but, you're going to pay top dollar for it. I'm quite the haggler and can usually knock quite a few dollars off of the sticker price, but at this place...those skills are put to bed. There really is no haggling. The people running this antique store know exactly what they have, exactly how much it cost, and exactly how much they will get for it...regardless of what you think it might really cost. Because of the crazy high prices and the inability to even be given the opportunity to haggle prices, I can only give this place 2 stars. However, if you have money to burn and want some quality, unique, and extremely beautiful pieces of furniture...then this is a place you'll definitely want to visit.

Fun store to window shop with the beautiful displays of furniture and tables of fine dinning ware. I came in looking for a particular thing and the woman at the front pointed me in the right direction to see if they carried it and followed up with me later to see if I found it. Unfortunately it wasn't what I needed but I enjoyed looking around at the other things and telling my daughter about the things she hadn't seen in her lifetime. I was a little scared though with all the fine dishes around of her knocking something over. We made it out without a mishap.

I love this store. I spent several hours inside without seeing it all. Staff is extremely helpful. They took time to individually wrap all my purchases, helped me load them in my car, and searched for items I was looking for.

An AMAZING collection of all things vintage! I purchased a antique hall tree and could have spent sooo much more! Will definitely go back (with a bigger vehicle)! Melinda was most helpful. She def knows her knowledge of antiques and her inventory! I was looking for a specific piece of glassware. Although she did not have the size I needed, she knew exactly where in the store to look. And believe me, there is so much to see! Don't miss this spectacular shop!

My husband and I LOVE Ancient of Days. They have a fantastic selection of antiques and are always so friendly. The pictures show a few of the things we have bought there. One of the fabulous ladies at the front even helped us rewire the mimeoscope.

Took a day trip from home in Denton to OKC treasure hunting and stopped in as many places as possible along the way. Great place FULL of furniture and great finds. Pricing is reasonable for what you are getting. Definitely recommend this place for the unique conversation pieces!
