We rented a unit that did not look like the pictures. It was dirty and worn. When we got the our destination, set everything up and the toilet would not flush. The black and grey water tanks were full. We had to hook back up to the trailer and the stabilization Jacks would not go up. Told the guy when we returned the unit and he didn't want to hear it.

Rv had bedbugs and black mold, when we told the owner, he charged our insurance $3,200 for the month and we were only in it for 2 weeks

We had reserved our rv months in advance and prepaid everything. When we showed up on time to start our vacation the rv wasn't ready. We waited two hours and finally got the rv with a hot refrigerator and gray tank showing a third full. The rv had not been washed and was covered in bugs. All four hubcaps and the tv remote were missing. Additionally the inside wasn't cleaned well. For example there was a melted jolly rancher stuck to the armrest. We were promised a refund of our cleaning deposit since the rv was dirty. But it wasn't refunded. The beds in this rv were worn out and extremely hard and there was a beep sound that wouldn't stop until we pulled the fuse. The couch is so worn you could feel the springs poking you and sink way in whether sitting or laying. Storage areas under the seats are screwed shut making the biggest storage spaces unusable. The outside light cover fell off during driving and we were charged for it. When we were camping we noticed that moulding had been pulled off on the support that holds the upper bunk. When we returned the rv the tech immediately went to that and said we pulled it off but we didn't. We got charged for it. Due to the overall maintenance and worn out status of the beds we would not use this company again. When you pay $200 a day you expect good quality sleeping arrangements. What did work is the engine the Ac and the toilet system. The slides also worked well.

We have done business with American Dream for a couple of years now and have been very pleased. When we pick up, the camper is always clean, completely functional and ready to go. We walk around and through the unit prior to departure so that any minor issues may be noted beforehand. Another walk around/through upon check-in and we are on our way. They offer a variety of rental units and we've recommended them to friends who also had good experiences.

Terrible place NEVER recommend! Our travel trailer we rented had "BEDBUGS!" The blinds 6 of them did not work! Refrigerator leaked water all over our food! Was supposed to have a fireplace, never worked! They charged our insurance $3,200. a month! We put a $200. Deposit down~ they kept all but $50. They are rude on the phone~ They charged for step-up and pick-up~ got stuck in our backyard and tore the yard all up. We had to use our tractor to pull them out. If we would have known they were going to rip off our deposit ~ we would have made the worthless company pay for a wrecker! Plus the repair of our yard! Never would rent another thing from them if I had to live in a tent!

We had a similar experience with the unit we rented. I believe the pictures posted online are from when the units were new. The one we got was worn down, seats warped, leaky ceiling, fridge had bad mold odor and the list goes on. I wouldn't even give them a star but it's the lowest rating so I'll choose it. The queen bed in the back was unbearable to sleep on because the coil springs were digging into you so we had to pile comforters on it to ease the discomfort. No wonder there are only 3 reviews so far. How are they still in business? I hope this helps anyone trying to rent from this company.

We rented a Class A RV here and will never rent with them again. The RV was very used and although it did run okay, the interior and several functional pieces (like the awning) were extremely worn or not working. We repeatedly attempted to contact them during our holiday vacation (no answer), and were never called back by them, until we returned the unit. We agree with the other posts (Matt M) and highly recommending AVOIDING and renting elsewhere.

Our experience was rough. We had never rented an RV before and the next time we do, it will be through a different company. We were pretty surprised when we saw the unit we were being given as it appeared the pictures we saw were from when the unit was very new. This felt dishonest to us right off the bat. We rented out of Oklahoma and drove to Florida and back - a 12 day trip. Our generator only worked on the first day... in June. So when we blew a total of four tires in Florida... meaning we were on the side of the road in June for 4+ hours with three kids ... we had no air conditioning unless we wanted to run the RV and use our gas that way. The only way we had decent A/C was when we were hooked up at the RV parks, so driving was hot unless seated in the front seat. Our battery died near the end of the trip and we couldn't get a hold of Randy. Finally we had someone come out and get it fixed, but we couldn't even sleep in the RV that night. Not to mention that we had just bought $200 worth of groceries that wouldn't survive overnight in the RV. Thankfully we were at Disney - whose customer service is unmatched - and they put us up for free. Otherwise ADV would have gotten the invoice for our hotel stay. There were lots of little frustrations too, like the broken microwave that rattled ALL 40+ driving hours. Honestly though, it was barely noticeable because the whole unit was insanely loud and we had to talk ridiculously loud to hear each other in the front seat. When we returned our unit, Randy made an effort to apologize and that is the only reason they are receiving two stars today instead of one. Since we returned the RV three days early, we needed reimbursed for the unlimited generator usage we paid for, the three days we had paid for already, etc., we were waiting for payment. We waited nearly two weeks after the return and this was after we made numerous email attempts to get this sorted out. My husband had to be uncharacteristically firm to get back the $1,300+ we were owed. We were told of a funeral plan that was holding up the process, and when we finally were reimbursed, we were $140 short. At that point, the hassle was not even worth fighting for.

The epitome of horrible customer service. They tell you what you want to hear when you pick up but the lies get exposed when you return the unit. When I walked in to return the unit I got "greeted" by the receptionist yelling at a customer on the phone shaking her fist at the phone as if she wants to punch the customer. I thought this just may be a bad customer as I know they exist, however i figured out quickly when she started dealing with me that it was definitely her horrible attitude. My advice to everyone is to rent somewhere else. If you don't take my advice then I hope you get everything they tell you in writing and read their agreement and make sure they deliver what it says.
