Ambassador House

So we have lived here for almost a year. We are very pleased it's nice, quiet, safe. A family friendly. The pool is beautiful. They are always working to keep it clean and nice. The manager works super hard for any requests that we have. She has always went above and beyond for us. Very pleased I would recommend this place to anyone.

It's really sad, as a Property Manager I am unable to review my own property. I can say that I came here in June of 2017, that my management company and I are working very hard to turn this property and all the bad reviews around. These things don't happen overnight and we definitely need the help and cooperation of our fellow residents as I, myself live here with my own family. I am extremely passionate about my residents! This is NOT just a job to me it's my HOME!

Search any site that reviews this place and you will see it is littered with comments going back YEARS of people having problems with ROACHES. Not to mention Bed Bugs!! Looks like this place will continue to have people leave one after another since they cannot fix their disgusting problem.

Unfortunately, I come to bring nothing but bad news(BED BUGS AND ROACHES). I've stayed in many places, However, Ambassadors house take the cake for uncompassionate and filth. I feel sorry for the homeless human beings that search through the trash every morning and night. That isn't a bother as much as the BED BUGS! I know that someone will read this review and think that i am just a vicious tenant trying to get back at the apartments. Actually, I am trying to save you money on new furniture and beds(we had to throw ours out). I want to say this loud and clear THERE ARE BED BUGS HERE! They will try to make you pay for the bug removal. You will have to withhold rent. You will have to go to court to fight for extermination. You will win! Please use this review as a statement. I authorize usage of this review as a statement for those who need it. There's bedbugs here, been here and when you do move out EARLY, it will be hard to find another place because of this issue. we have to throw out our BEDS, COUCHES, RUGS! REWASH 20 TOTES OF CLOTHES! im talking 72 gallon, 80 gallon totes. This December 2017 and we are leaving with NOTHING! The townhome we are leaving is nice, a bit out of date, but nice. LOOKS ARE DECEIVING. I actually hate it. I don't like to move, I don't Like the situation and i do not like the way we were treated because of this issue. Its so unfortunate. They could be great apartments. Find a manager that actually care about people. Not vicious and vindictive, then and only then can you fix the underlying problem. 12/31/2017

Transwest property are a shit show. They changed their policy in middle of my lease and didn't tell me. So because of the change they didn't give me enough notice to look for a place, work or pack. I had 30 days to do it.

Too much roach es healthy concern. Pest control doesn't do much neighbours upstairs are loud

Poor yard upkeep. Often knee deep grass since mowed the grass is left on the yard producing mosquitos. Trash bin often overflowing. Fire Marshall violations. Cited for no inspection of fire extinguishers for three years. People grilling up to the building. Complex has had two four alarm fires in 4 years. Trash around building. No upkeep. Dog poop everywhere. Dogs allowed in swimming pool. Babies with diapers allowed in swimming pool. No supervision of area. The building has become dilapidated with no maintenance. Bugs continue to be a problem. Not for for me fortunately. Phone in office not answered frequently. No one there frequently. Parking a real issue. They fired the security guard and did not replace him. Washers and dryers do not work the majority of the time. They eat money and the money is not replaced by the office. Transwest properties who owned the complex have money difficulties. They are not allow do use credit. They can only use cash for projects. As a result, things are often left undone. Parking is really bad. It's a free-for-all for every tenant. I have lived there for 10 years. The majority of those 10 years have been good except for the last four. Six managers in three years. My lease is not being renewed because I notified the fire marshal's office.
