Tarántula I was gonna get to terrorize my arachnophobic brother
Crappy Alligator Enclosure
Poor animal - in a dirty tank, no natural habitat whatsoever, just being used to make money off people so you can feed it.
A very pretty gecko I met!
The big boi pythons! (NOT FOR SALE BUT VERY PRETTY!)
My son, George, the Albino Leopard Gecko!
No oxygen!!
Cracked glass. The snakes are overcrowded and are visibly distressed.
Bearded dragon
Bearded dragon
Bearded dragon
Bearded dragon is missing the tip of her nose. They breed these themselves so this happened in the store.
These alligators can't turn around. They have no room whatsoever to move.
Bearded dragons change color when distressed. I've never seen one this upset. Notice the cluttered enclosure.

Great selection of items for reptiles and hamsters/ferrets/gerbils. BUT items are overpriced by about $15-20 or more.. Used items can't really be negotiated on which is unfortunate.. Little shop and staff could improve but nice little store for the most part.. YOU CAN ONLY BUY THREE FEEDERS AT A TIME

How is this place still open? There's two alligators that are permanently in some display with still water, no enrichment and there's stuff on top of their enclosure so they can't even get oxygen! There's also a tortoise in the front just in a bin and it's constantly banging on the wall trying to escape. It's a depressing sight to behold. Definitely called animal welfare to complain. 918 742 3700 is the number. I know there's not many options in Oklahoma but please do not buy from here and shop online/at conventions.

I was scoping the place out for a new reptile to call my son. This place is AMAZING! They treat all their reptiles, mammals, spiders, and other crawlers with care! They even got big boi pythons which honestly kept me from getting the gecko the first day I went looking in their store (Big snakes scare me for I am but 5'2 ) They were able to educate me on what reptiles would be great for beginners and children since my little brother would be anxious to interact with George. I was offered to put him in a free container but the one I got was for the crickets I'd get for later (Pro Tip: DONT BUY CRICKETS GET THEM SOME MEAL WORMS I PROMISE!) Overall very responsible bleeders and sellers.

I absolutely love alligator Alley, I mean they absolutely care for their pets, they have a great selection, and you can FEED ALLIGATORS! So the only complaint here is that it is in a pretty horrible part of town!

I was disappointed by the state of the shop. Frankly, it was dirty and looks more like a storage unit than a reptile store. The retail supplies weren't much better than the animal care. There were multiple damaged and dusty items.

This pet shop is beyond messy. It's a maze of disorganized clutter, much of it dirty and unkempt. Most of their animals are very much overpriced. Their snake selection is excellent and looked well cared for. My daughter is obsessed with anything that slithers or crawls. We enjoy the many color variations of ball pythons here. But their king snakes are stuffed in small bins, not on display. While it's mostly reptiles they also sell a large variety of tarantulas, a few amphibians, and a handful of rodents like guinea pigs and rabbits. They do not sell aquarium fish. For a fee you can also feed their alligator and tortoises. The entire space is claustrophobic, but it gets especially crowded at their checkout counter. I like the bamboo grove surrounding their building, but it needs to be better cared for. It's overgrown and housing wild life. Like the big dirty that rat startled me while walking back to my car last visit. While I do like that it is family-owned and operated, they Badly need to sink some time and money into organizing and cleaning. And rehash their high pricing.

Can't believe this place is in business. Reptiles in poor condition and terrible husbandry. Smells awful. Too small of enclosures. When petco takes better care of their animals than a local reptile shop... it's a no for me.

Customer service at this store is very rude and the employees are very uneducated about the laws of things I saw a female, lychee gecko well under breeding age them selling it as an adult and they told me it was illegal for me to own my anacondas and we're very rude. When I tried to show them the laws that I could I almost got kicked out I would not recommend this place it has gone way downhill.

I go to Alligator Alley every week without fail, sometimes twice a week, to get feeder insects and frozen rats for both my own and rescue animals. In fact, from May through the end of November I was going into Alligator Alley twice a week routinely to take care of extra animals that came into my rescue. The store NEVER smells bad, as claimed by someone else. It's an old store in an old building, but neither the store nor the habitats stink. So throw that claim out the window.Yes, the animals are in small enclosures--as are the same kinds of animals at Big Box Stores! Animals on display for sale are not kept in large habitats in ANY pet store I've ever been, and I've been inside pet stores in multiple cities, including in Germany and Sweden as well as in other states in the US. It's up to the buyer to get a nice large habitat in which to keep an animal they purchase. If a pet store tried to keep animals in larger habitats, their inventory costs would skyrocket, and their profit margin--which they do have to have in order to pay employees, pay the electrical and heating bills, and so forth to stay in business--would go down the tubes. So let's be reasonable, please. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful. The feeder insects are nearly always in _good_ condition, unlike the feeder insects at Big Box Stores, where they are almost always on their last legs, literally. Only twice, in all the years I've been buying feeder insects at Alligator Alley, have I ever had a bad batch, and even then, they were every bit as healthy and moreso than any I could have bought at the nearest Big Box Store. So I will keep going to Alligator Alley, I will keep defending Alligator Alley from attacks, and I will keep promoting Alligator Alley.
