This is my go to place for a gift card for a friend who is a loyal customer and collector. They have recently moved so if you use Google or Bing maps to guide you there they will take you to their old store. The new store is bigger and makes it easier to see what they have. And even though I only buy gift cards there I look around because sometimes they have Doctor Who merchandise. The staff is always helpful to me, a person lost is a graphic novel store.

I don't collect comic books.[1]I do read comic books though. A lot. But I don't have a collection to speak of, and that's mainly because it's an expensive hobby (much like any other hobby I suppose). I don't really frequent the other comic book stores in the city either, so I don't have anything to compare with my recent experience. I happened to be in the store to buy comics for a kid who really likes comics. I just realized that I probably should have checked to see if the comics I got him were age appropriate...There seems to be a pretty sizeable selection. A lot of toys/action figures as well. There were some broken toys also in bins, but I can't imagine those sell. The customer service is on point. Like really on point. I don't know his name, but the guy was very helpful, and he seemed to know his stuff. The used comic selection seemed fairly expansive (again, I don't know how this place compares to other stores in the city). Really, I can't find anything to complain about. Well, maybe the fact that I had to spend $10 minimum to use my card, but that just meant I had to throw in some extra used $1 comics to reach the minimum limit. Also, DC 》 Marvel. Come at me Marvel fanboys! Especially those of you whose only frame of reference is the Avengers movie.[1]Note: Well no, there was brief period in my life where I was really into collecting Archie comics. I would always be annoyed that he was an idiot constantly chasing Veronica, when he had an amazing girl like Betty ready to wait on him hand and foot. Also, she could cook. What kind of moron walks away from that for Kim Kardashian? Well... That's... I'm going to stop here.

Absolutely love this comic shop. Tyler is usually working on Wednesdays, and he always treats the customers right. They keep a good stock of comics, and will have the variant covers you're looking for.One time, Batman Incorporated #8 was completely sold out, but Tyler kept one stashed for me behind the counter. Hell yeah.Bring your friends and kids.

YES YES YES! This place is awesome. I come here for the toys, as I do not collect or read Comic Books. If I did, this is the place I would come to get them!I have found so many awesome toys at prices much better than ebay or some of the rude stores around town... you know who you are....The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and fun. When you come, expect to spend a good chunk of time if you want to actually see all the cool stuff!

I now know what people mean when they bemoan the inability to give negative stars. AVOID THIS PLACE! RUDE STAFF!!I have been here numerous times and purchased items with and for my kids. When we walked in this afternoon (8/09/14) the lone worker muttered "get your f***ing kids out of here". The man who works in a store with comics and toys, listening to the Jackson 5, was griping about my kids being in his Peter Pan tree house. Before you think it- let me say that we just walked in and they hadn't made a peep or barely moved. I have to claim them when they are crazy and I know those times- this wasn't one of them. I have wasted my last dollar at this place. I am sorry for the owner that he has such poor staff, but we all live with the results of the decisions we make.

Nice local comics store with all the current issues you'd expect, plus a good assortment of TPB's, toys and action figures, and even Silver and Bronze Age back issues. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

I am generally a digital reader when it comes to comic books, but from time to time I will stop into a local comic shop to pick up an issue or two when I want something for collection purposes. My biggest opinion on comic shops come from the service. Just about every comic shop will have the exact same inventory outside of a super rare few issues that will vary among comic shops.All-Star comics comes in high on the customer service side of things. I walk in, they greet me, ask if I need anything, and then generally leave me in peace as I browse through their inventory. They may come back from time to time and ask if I need help finding anything, but don't seem to mind if I'm just looking around waiting for something to pop out at me.I've never tried to read through a comic while there, but I generally find that to be in pretty poor taste to do so I don't know if they allow people to do that. Like most comic shops they'd probably be more lenient to regular customers than one timers or anything like that. While I was there a guy came in looking for certain rare comics, but also for new things to read. I liked that the guy working threw him some of the most popular titles that are out today (Saga, The Walking Dead, blah blah blah), but also showed him some older stories that aren't quite as talked about anymore, but are still really popular (Y: The Last Man, The Boys). This shows they know something about comics instead of just spouting a list of what's hot not. They do also have a neat little thing where they will bundle single issues together for the entire story and then sale it at a discounted price.

Doubt i will ever buy anything from them. I was greeted as soon as I entered which gave me hope. That was all of the positives they had to offer. I was the only one in the store with one worker. I am looking at getting back into reading comics so I needed a starting point. Their selection was abysmal at best. Most of the racks were bare as well as their graphic novels. The only other time I was spoken to was when I walked out. There was never an offer to help or anything.
