First day was a total disaster. Apartment wasn't clean or move in ready. Front desk was absolutely no help and it's clear there is no communication. Toilet is broken and no one has come to fix it yet either. After reading reviews here and on Google, wishing we did more research.

It was my biggest mistake to sign a lease with these guys . My apartments stinks since 5 days since my garbage disposal won't work and the drainage to the dishwasher is messed up .I have called maintenance several times , emailed them again and again but they refuse to listen .Do not live at avenue East !

This apartment complex is run by unscrupulous predators. They will charge you for something no matter how well you take care of your apartment. Do not expect to have anything fixed. Our dishwasher barely worked and would break down every couple of month. We would put in a maintenance request, and maintenance would quickly come out, throw some bleach in and tell us it was fine. We needed a new dishwasher, not a cap full of bleach! This place is run by a company that requires the apartment management to fill quotas; don't take it personally, because you're just a margin-thickening number. It's too bad that you have to leave at least a one star review, because they deserve zero or negative stars.

The facility itself is pretty nice. Half of the buildings are new as of 2012, and the rest were renovated in summer 2012, plus a revamped main office with an all new gym with tanning booths, and a swimming pool. All the apartments have new appliances (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, washer and dryer) as of 2012 as well. And there is always plenty of parking.But the service is awful. About every other month there is some sort of error with billing rent. They lose a check, they don't charge roommates equally on utilities, they applied "last month's rent" check to November when the last month is July. They don't return phone calls, and messages left at the front desk for the manager are also, often not returned.They've thrown a pool party and blasted the music. This was an office sanctioned event, but I live on the opposite side of the complex and the music was so loud it was rattling my windows.To begin prepping for new tenants moving in, they power washed all the landings. Unfortunately there is a good quarter inch gap between my front door and the floor, so all that dirt/grime and water was pressure sprayed into my apartment. I had a three foot by five foot puddle. No advanced warning was given, therefore I didn't move my door mat which was blasted to pieces, and when I went and told the guy he was spraying water under the door he just said yeah, it happens. I'm pretty sure it doesn't if you don't aim the hose at the bottom of the door.I live here because it is a no smoking complex and I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. My downstairs neighbors smoked in the bathroom, and the smoke came up through the vents. I called the desk to report them and they said there was nothing they could do, at which point I don't think they can advertise that they are non smoking.The washer went out, it took 3 days for their on site maintenance guy to come look at it, and then another 2 weeks before he came back and fixed it.I've been here for 2 years, management changed half way through and I thought things would improve. I was wrong, and I'm not coming back, nor do I recommend it to anyone.

The absolute worst management and apartments ever. They never answer maintenance requests, they changed my mail key three times and I couldn't get access to my mail for a month. The washer broke like five times and when our AC went out in 100° heat we got no answer until I called a third time and they treat us like we are dumb. They are charging $110 dollars in 'damages' at move out that were there before I moved in. Terrible management. Live literally anywhere else.

DO NOT sign a lease here. When I moved in the unit was an opposite floor plan than what we were told we were going to get and what is on the website. The unit reeked of Weed and was completely disgusting. After demanding a new cleaning she wiped it down with spray and called it good. The toilet was not even flushed when I moved in. The Leasing manager Kendra is oblivious to the issue and not helpful at all. They acted like it was our fault that the unit was not ready and did not even apologize for it at all. We also were not provided a mailbox key or our address. They do not care about their residents. Kendra and Hailey are horrible to deal with and automatically defensive. They don't do their job. The phone doesn't even work and when it does you have to talk to an AI person. Whatever you do, DO NOT rent from this dump. This place is the WORST student living option in Stillwater and has been a completely horrible experience.

Before I even moved in the AC has NOT been working, I moved in August 6th and the AC issue has still not been resolved. DO NOT RENT here, I should've listened. It is frustrating getting lied to every time I go into the office or call, it's also frustrating having them scoff at you while you explain the situation and ultimately only want COOL FRESH AIR. I have never felt so disrespected; I constantly call, email, and leave voice messages and not a single person responds. It is absolutely ridiculous, it has been above 100 degrees these past weeks and my room feels like a sauna. I will take this down once this issue is resolved, otherwise it is staying up. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I recommend Apex on Perkins; they are responsive, will fix your issue ASAP, and friendly! I regret leaving them for this complex.

UpdateThey did send a template response. However, this time they acknowledged that it's a template response and yet still didn't include any new information in the response. We have sent dozens of phone calls and emails. They take up to a week to respond and give improper and unprofessional responses.We have met them in person. They are incredibly rude and unprofessional face-to-face, too.We have gotten a number of false charges for things that were already recorded as damages when we moved in. They threaten to send the charges to collections and then wait you out to force you to pay.

Do not sign a lease with this apartment complex.Pro: the townhome rooms are big close to campus and other storesCons: charge excessive amount of fees, unorganized, maintenance is rude, questions constantly go unanswered. My personal experience: 1) my townhome flooded caused mold on carpet and walls, we explained it to them multiple times the kept putting machines to dry the carpet instead of transferring into another unit these problems started end of April and we couldn't move until mid June.2) The new unit the a/c barely worked which was miserable in the summer months.3) They filed an eviction notice because I owed $60 on December 15th and I paid my balance but they still charged me a attorney fee on January 11th a entire month after I paid the balance.4) Then 2 weeks later the management charged me $600 for a pet violation even though I paid the pet fee and provided all my documents to them 2x. Then sent a email threading if I don't pay then they will call animal control to remove my dog.5) I paid my bill and was $.23 short when I tried to repay they charged me $70 in fees. This is my personal experience here, I do not recommend this apartment.

This has to be one of the worst complexes I've ever heard of. Overpriced rent for the small, low grade apartments they provide you with, maintenance almost always leaves you worse off than you were before, warped roofs and floors from water damage, stairwells fall apart right in front of you coming home form work, you name it. The icing on the cake has to be the horrible polices and support for their renters. All tenants were accidentally charged an extra time for insurance, they then closed for the weekend, did not fix the issue until the 4th, and then charged whoever did not pay with the faulty charges on their account a late fee and refused to take it off. This would be understandable if they were open on the weekends when you had to pay your balance to question them about it, but they are not. I have never seen a complex care less about their tenants and more about money in my life. And to top it all off they are constantly raising rates for new tenants to move in when the living conditions are doing nothing but getting worse in all of their units. If I could have left 0 stars I would. Do NOT live here.
