Roach infestation, mold, dirty apartment upon move in. Don't bother living here get a part time job and fork up the extra money to live anywhere else. Update: I have found another type of bug in this apartment and the roach issue that has been supposedly being "treated" since this summer is still ongoing. To anyone thinking of resigning their lease here or even thinking of living here just don't. Also when they call and talk to you they don't really handle anything and Samantha apparently just doesn't respond back to emails about things she said she'd take care of so obviously they don't really care to really fix anything. For your own peace of mind live anywhere else. Also when I first moved in the apartment was filthy and the tub was damaged severely, also I stated that I had pet allergies but was placed in an apartment that had previously housed a pet and was obviously never cleaned after that tenant left since I had allergic reactions for months. Also the couches have tons of scratches from previous tenants and pretty much everything about this apartment is a scam. Oh and before I forget the carpet is absolutely filthy definitely needed to be replaced years ago, I have vacuumed it so many times and there is still an ungodly amount of dust and in addition to that there are these patches of stains of god knows what on the carpet and over all it just looks filthy.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE. They will charge you for everything and anything. My roommates were charged zero dollars for the living quarters and I was charged for everything. I couldn't get off work for move out at 12:00pm and I got there at 4pm and I was charged $300 solely because I was late. It is a complete nightmare living here and leaving this place. Run as far as possible.

Worst place to ever live. Can't stress this enough. Horrible. I have had a girl on drugs break into my house and had the cops have to remove her. And she is a resident at alight and they did nothing about it. They claim they are a gated community, but their gates are always broken. this week their gate has been broken for over a week and a half and they did not give us notice and my truck was broken into, and I had thousands of dollars in equipment stolen and my vehicle was damaged. the apartment complex did nothing and said that it's not their responsibility. When I asked for the camera footage for the parking lot they said they have no cameras and only decoy fake cameras. The rooms and buildings are low quality everything breaks and they charge you enormous amounts of money for it. They don't care about their residences, they only care about making as much money as possible. And giving low quality and rude service! Disgusted at how big of losers these guys are.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would and here's why: I've lived in a small village in a third world country where we still used a black and white TV,I've lived in a small box apartment in Hong Kong where we shared one small bedroom with 4 people, Those were still more a pleasant experience than what I have experienced in Alight Norman.First of all, they had promised my girlfriend early move-in if she signed the contract early to which she agreed. But when time for move-in came, they would just push her off and give her the same answer "we'll let you know if something gets available". It took me getting on the phone with them and making sure they honor their promise. They then agreed to let her move in the day she had to move out of her other apartment complex. If a man had not called them, they probably would have allowed her to go homeless and not care. Secondly, I've had to fight with them once again for my girlfriend because they would not provide any heating to her. Instead of apologising and showing any incentive to fix the issue, they would brush her off and prolong the issue longer than they had to. They would then blame her for the prolonging of the issue. Once again, a man had to jump on a call before they would do anything. The managers seem very sexist and if you're a women, good luck getting anything done for yourselves.The employees will lie to you without even a flinch when you're signing your contract, and then all the smiles are gone when its actually time to get stuff done. To my surprise, even the female employees will lie through their teeth about how awesome everything is, don't be fooled like me and my girlfriend were. So that was her experience, I also got a bedroom for myself and my experience has not been any better.The microwave and stove did not work at all, there was a RIVER in the fridge, the sinks were clogged, the fan in the bathroom was broken, half the lights in the bathroom don't work, and so much more issues. When I requested those items to be fixed, instead of fixing them, they'll argue with you about why it's not broken and doesn't need fixing. Literally ARGUE instead of coming and checking. I had to put in multiple requests and make some phone calls before they'd even come and look at the problem.I had to request for my stove to be fixed over 6 times and I still received attitude from the maintenance team. I almost backed down as I was surprised by their response but I'm glad I didn't and they got it fixed in the sixth report. Unfortunately for me, when they fixed one thing, they broke another in the process. Their response to me was "if one stove is not working, the other three still work."When it's time for your move-in, they'll say we're cleaning up and that's why you can't move in, but when you move in, there's nothing that has been cleaned. When you need to talk with someone, they'll say they'll call you back but you won't ever hear back from them. The only time they'll call back is when they want you to renew their lease.I've talked with other residents who have been here a few years, and they've all said that the current management is the worst they've ever experienced. If you want a more pleasant living experience while you're surviving college, take my advice and check out other apartments instead. Nothing that is owned by Scion Management please. No one here cares about you.

Worst on campus housing as the reviews below also show. Had a roach infestation and management couldn't care less. Was also stuck with a room with no window which is clearly a fire hazard but no where is it stated online that a 4 bed apt would have no window (shouldn't even be called a bedroom).

My daughter lived her a year. Pool was never opened. The walls were disgusting. I will say maintenance always was kind to her but over a dozen things needed to be done before she moved in.

Alight Norman was absolutely awful. Management and staff were awful. We had someone move into our apartment without any notice from staff. Our apartment was filthy upon move in, there were maggots in the fridge and bugs on the floors. Our furniture was all extremely damaged and they promised us it would be swapped out, it never was. Alight is truly the worst place to live as a student, walker tower would be better.

Cockroaches. It sucked. It was so sad and they tried so hard to get rid of them. Burn the whole thing down and just restart alight. Also gave me sucky roommates who gaslit me it also sucked.

Overall, a great experience! Front staff is very communicative and helpful with questions. My only "con" would be that sometimes, it takes maintenance awhile to respond to requests, but that is to be expected. I would recommend any of the Alight locations to a friend :)

They charge for the damages on wall before I move in and they might just want to keep the damage on the wall and change for the next person who move in.
