This company has always been the best in town. Honest, reliable and top-notch in every way. The owner recently passed away so I don't know about the future of the business but I hope it will continue. RIP Kevin.

Just like the 5-star rating says, "Woohoo! As good as it gets"... Yep, they are. I've used Alameda Heat & Air for the last 8 years. We have a couple of older AC units that seem to need maintenance on a yearly basis now, and it always seems to happen when it's 3pm, the Friday before a holiday weekend, or something crazy like that... and when I call, usually speaking to Aaron or Aaron's wife (both are as nice as they come) and they make time and space for you as though you are family. When the guys come out... I always have great conversation with them... saying, "these are the type of folks you could sit and have a cup of coffee with"... always personable, polite and professional. The cost of supplies have gone up over the years but their prices/costs have stayed the same, not passing those costs on to the customers. I believe in "paying it forward" so to speak, so when people do good, I want to let everyone know about my experience... They provide good work, good customer service, good costs/prices, and they're good people. Thank you guys... Blessings to you and yours!

Good luck if you use Alameda Heat and Air. They came out and looked at my unit, said the part it needed was $1800 and needed to be ordered. I said ok, go ahead. One week later I call to see where the part is, and I am told they don't know they would check with the manufacture and call me back, 3 hours later no call so I call them. I was told " we don't know where the part is and neither does the manufacture". I told them to cancel it and called Norman heat and air. They were here within 30 minutes and hot it up and running within 2 days. I understand Alameda Heat and Air is under new ownership. If this is how they do business, they won't be in business long. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.I would bet their positive reviews are from family members.

I had AH&A install a smart thermostat. They sorted the wiring and got everything working. Same day service at a good price. Would recommend.

First called in the morning said they could make it. Good thing, they were there by 4 p.m. $50 service call good deal, parts were OUTRAGOUS. $11 CONNECTOR $175, $8 CAPACITOR $155. TOTAL BILL $380. Was at our house maybe 45 minutes! Then the next day it quit working again....they came back the next afternoon and wanted $350 to cut 4 wires and install a $75 fan motor.

We have used Alameda Heat and Air since we moved into the area. They have always shown up when they said they would. They have always fixed the problem and are reasonably priced. We are so glad we started using them.

The previous review was spot on...Kevin was a good guy and ran an honest business. The new owner, I can't say the same. He came out and changed out an ignitor on my gas furnace about 3 years ago. Fast and easy and resonably priced. The exact same part just went out again. The part is cheap and easy to fix and I should have done it myself. But I'm busy and it didn't cost that much the first time. Well I was charged $305.00 this last time. $50.00 Labor (fair) and $255.00 for a $20.00 part. (Google Hot Surface Ignitor for Rheem/Ruud sytems. It's a pretty universal part so its used in many systems) I understand you have to mark up your parts, but this is price gouging to a max. Alameda Heat and Air won't be putting in my new system and won't have future business from myself nor my family and friends. A returned phone call would have gone a long way in customer satisfaction and would have prevented this negative review.
