We had our heating system break down late in the night during below freezing temps. We had an infant at home and the repair person came as fast as they could, and was able to resolve the issue very quickly. They were very professional, safe, and honest.

We needed new heating and a/c unit and went with Above and Beyond Heating and Air. Getting the new system went quick and seamless as it should for the cost. We purchased the extra package to be a preferred customer with the "perks"-I felt it was beneficial with the investment we made. Today we have a leak issue with our shower and I called due to our purchase of the "perk" benefits that we purchased and it only covered the heating and A/C not all the services they provide. Commitment to the customer is only what you purchase at this company. Rated a 2 because the techs are good and respectful.

The review would be zero if that would be an option. ONG cut off my gas due to an exterior leak. The technician insisted all gas lines inside had to be capped off and tested, even though ONG specified the leak was outside at the junction. The technician seemed very arrogant telling me what I needed. Well after capping all lines, rummaging through my attic, he wasn't even pressure testing the gas line feed into my home, rather a line that had already been capped off years ago from ONG. When he finally tested the correct line it was found the leak going into the house, just as OGE said. After all this, they wanted an unneeded city inspection (double checked with ONG & not required). If the technician was not so arrogant and listened a 1 hour job would not be 4+ hours. For what it's worth ONG did say he did good on the outside seal of the leak. Bottom line I believe I was way overcharged for unneeded work & a supposed professional diagnosing a wrong gas line. He went above & beyond when he didn't need to. If he just would have listened to the problem instead of being a know it all then maybe it would not have taken so long & the bill would have been lower. Learned my lesson, never will I do business with above and beyond again!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. They didn't fix what they were supposed to fix. We had to fix it ourselves after paying them $350 for their guy to tinker around our house for the day acting like he knew what he was doing! Save yourself money and time and go elsewhere! I'd give them zero stars if that was an option.

I called because the a storm tripped my breaker and I could not get it back on. They made an appointment to come out today 5/30/24 by 6PM. They just called me at 4:03PM and said they cannot come out till Monday. I work from home and this leaves me with no time to get somebody else out here. Don't waist your time with these people because they have no problem leaving people in the lurch and waiting precious time.

Had a brand new unit installed and after one year began having issues. They came out a few times to fix it, but never could find the reason it wasn't working correctly. They stopped returning my phone calls, so I switched to another company.

This company is highly unethical and only out for the money they can get from individuals who do not know what they are doing with heat and air. I found the service to be especially bad and the cost expensive. It is like rolling the dice to see if you will get scammed due to a lack of knowledge. Don't know what to tell you except do not use these people.

My prior generator (a 6KW unit) died in the Feb 15-20, 2020 ice storm. I contacted Above and Beyond in November 2020, as they were referred to me by the Generac Company as a local certified distributor, to see if it could be repaired. They came out December 1 but after trying several things we finally concluded repair was not possible. We discussed what size of unit I would need because I wanted to get as close to a "whole house backup including A/C" as I could get. We settled on a 22 KW $8.5K unit but would have to wait for several months as these were on back order. They got the unit in and came out and installed it on March 4, 2021. Bear in mind that at this time I thought that my AC units were now included on the backup generator as was discussed when talking about anew unit. They also installed a new backup panel and moved quite a few items over to it so most (not quite all) of the interior was covered. All appeared good at this point. We even had a good summer without power loss requiring generator use! Please bear with me here. We have a hot tub which we did not put on backup as I did not see the need for that (I know better now as you shall read). After experiencing another bad winter storm in Feb of 2021 I had a small crack in my hot tub tubing because of a frozen line. I called Above and Beyond to see what we could do to add the hot tub to my backup. The tech came out and told me the best solution was to install a "modulator" which would be able to pull backup power from unused items (I believe I specifically said "such as my AC since that is hardly ever used in the wintertime) and reroute backup power to the hot tub if needed. We did that (at a cost of about $600). Now the problems begin. I had reason recently to need to turn off the breaker to my clothes dryer for repairs. Lo and behold, when I flipped the breaker identified on by the label in the fuse box - nothing! Flipping a few more and found a lot of them were mislabeled (these are in the main fuse box by the way, not the backup generator fuse box. Now when the new generator was installed, there were quite a few items moved around in the fuse box simply because we added a lot more items to the backup which required new labels to many items. I called Above and Beyond about this and "complained" that these were evidently mislabeled. They came out on April 4, 2022 and did a complete review and relabeled the fuses. They then gave me a work order to sign and mentioned a charge, which I thought was strange. I then noticed (and I should have noticed before and that is my bad) and asked where the backup switch to the AC was and they said that the AC was not on the backup generator. I guess you can see that here is where our viewpoints began to differ. I was pretty direct that the AC was supposed to be on the backup. The tech said that there was nothing he could do but he would get with "someone" tomorrow about this and get back with me. I never heard another word until I got another invoice a few days ago that I still owed for the relabeling done on April 4. I called Heather at their office and we had several lengthy conversations about my concerns that 1)the AC was not on the backup system; 2) the fuse box items were mislabeled; 3) they never got back with me to discuss these concerns. After the last conversation with her, which she said was after she talked with her supervisor, that they would negate the bill for the April work, but accepted no responsibility for ANY of my concerns and that they no longer would accept any business from me.Is this the kind of customer service response you would accept from a company?

I called them to come out due to AC not cooling. They came out and advised I had a leak in the outside unit (less than 10 years old). Quoted me over $4,600 (cheapest quote) to replace unit. Told me that they could refill Freon and that could last days, weeks, months, years. After almost $700 to do so, it lasted 2 days. If they would have spent time to assess leak, they should have known that I was wasting money to fill. Another company quoted $3,400 to replace. I had a third company out that fixed the leak and refilled for $800 total. Do not recommend because they just want to sell new units at a high cost. Do your homework.

Do not use this company!! Our AC stopped working and we called them because of their "great" reviews. It took them three times of coming out after they "fixed" the problem to finally figure out what was going on. They said we had to get a whole new system for 6k-10k even though out system is under 10 years old. We called around and were told you could just replace the coil for a fourth of the cost. They totally tried to scam us. We tried to have them come and replace the coil, but they never responded after we called them out. We had another company come out to finally fix our AC after this had been going on for 1.5 weeks and he said they didn't even install parts correctly or clean out the unit like they said they did. I called the manager to try and get a refund for the nightmare situation we had and was told she was on the other line and she would call me back. I never got a call back. I tried to call again, my call wasn't picked up. Very dishonest company that just wants money.
