We moved in about a year ago there was a great management staff the communication was great but after 2-3 months of being here we noticed that the people at the office had moved to different locations, now it has turned into shit we have a huge hole in our apartment we been dealing with it for about two months now and this is going nowhere, we have talked to management several times and it doesn't seem like the care enough to deal with it. I will attached some pictures and videos for you guys to see but do yourself a favor and don't move in here. We won't be renewing our lease, and I know 4 of our neighbors in the same building experience similar things.Next step will be reaching out to corporate and followed by a mold test from the health department.

Terrible place to live. The communication of these apartments are terrible. The router for your wifi is in the closet so you won't have any good connection even though it's fiber, in the summer time we spent 2 weeks in our apartment with no working ac and no window unit. If you're wanting a safe gated community this ain't it either. The gates are ALWAYS broken and mine and other neighbors cars has been ransacked. During the summertime the pool was always closed. The parcel that you pay extra for they just leave packages on the floor instead of putting in lockers. Most important of all, all these good reviews on here is all lies because they offer you a $10 target gift card if you write a good review for them

Discrimination, Disgusting presentation & loss of personal property. If those are things you're looking for in an apartment complex then 35 West Apartments is for you!Let me explain....I have been a resident of this community for about 4 months now. In that time they have had disgusting piles of trash at the back entrance (see pictures below) and done nothing to help counteract it. The nice thing is you even pay a trash fee to see it sit there!loss of personal property? Picture of that below too. They threatened to tow my car (and fully intended to) when I asked why they stated "We did not know whos car it was" even though at the time of lease signing it was required for me to fill out all vehicle information. The above story escalated to their Ops Manager (Teri Cook) and all I got was "I'm sorry" for them being completely in the wrong. She even verified that my vehicle information WAS in the system. When I said I felt like I had been "targeted" against (or discriminated against) for the tow notice their staff immediately became uncomfortable and would not continue to communicate with me.So to summarize... Unless you want to make the worst decision of your life, do not move here.(Pics could not be added to yelp)

35 west is horrible! The management doesn't care ! They allow drinking at pool which resulted in bloodshed and pool closures and vomiting in pools. My cars got broken in to twice.. security is a joke! Gates never work. Management is not responsive to needs!.. the apt was filthy when I moved in.. no storage! They got upset about bikes in yard but have not bike rack. They did not give me my money back for my fob.. I literally hated the apt complex.. the treadmill broken whole time.. the mail boxes were hard to get into.. it was ridiculous! Do not move here!!!

Trish was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable about this complex and everything it has to offer! I can not say enough great things about her. The only thing that hindered my experience at 35 West is the fact that I did not get to see a unit in person. The pros definitely outweigh the cons which really makes me think this will be my new home come January!

We lived at 35 West for a year and couldn't wait to move out. *they offer gift cards for 5 star reviews so be mindful of that when reading reviews*If you're considering moving in here I would consider other options, the apartments look nice but that's about all they have going for them. The staff at the office was great when we moved in a year ago, but since they sold to new the management company the new staff they hired are extremely rude and dismissive. We went months without living room lights because maintenance is slow and incompetent, once they finally came to take a look at the light only a month after placing the maintenance request, we then waited another couple of weeks for the light to arrive and it wasn't the correct light, by the time the light was ultimately working it had been about 2 months. Another failed maintenance request was placed on our dryer, the dryer latch was broken upon move in and would only operate if we placed a heavy object in front of the door to hold it shut, they came to fix it more than once and each time left it more broken than it originally was. They've also had numerous complaints not only to the office but to corporate as well about birds living in the roof and pooping all over sidewalks and cars, if it rains just be prepared to have a thick layer of wet bird poop on your shoes to track through your apartment and car. As far as the gate goes, it felt like a nice safety feature upon move in but it was broken and left open for months. Once they finally fixed it, the gate fobs no longer worked, and after numerous trips to the office to have it replaced, it still doesn't work, so just cross your fingers that you come in at the right time when someone is leaving and the gate is still open. They will also randomly raise the cost of amenities in the middle of your lease for things like the parcel pending room, which they don't even monitor so if your package gets dropped off there expect it to be laying on the floor for anyone to rummage through. The pool is a nice feature as well but if you plan to have more than one guest with you, be prepared to pay the office an additional fee for a wristband for them. Valet trash is a joke, if they do decide to come get your trash that's great but we don't even use it at this point because trash bags are just left in the breezeways. And as far as the dumpster goes, there is only one in the complex and it is always overflowing so trash it literally sitting on the ground with roaches crawling everywhere. Also, when we paid our final month of rent we requested a move out checklist to ensure we got everything done in hopes of receiving our deposit back (later found out there's no record of any deposit even being paid so we were out of that money anyways), the office lady was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude, ultimately they were unable to provide anything for us to go off of due to the new management company. These are just a few of the big reasons we elected to not renew our lease. Save yourself the time and effort and avoid these apartments. Overall the rent is extremely high for what you receive and just not worth it.

The management team here is terrible, all they care about is filling rooms, not actually solving your problems once your lease is signed. They upped the package pending charge after months of the delivery services not even using the thing (They still drop it off at your apartment door). If your AC goes out (ours has 5 times in a year of living here) on a Thursday/Friday you are out of luck because they outsource their HVAC maintenance. The valet trash service also will just leave trash on the corners of the apartment buildings some nights so good luck walking your dog at night with all the skunks and raccoons that loiter around hoping some more trash is left out. Don't ever rent here, please let this be a warning to never give this place any money.

This place is nice, but the maintenance and front office staff are pretty horrible. You have to wait forever for anything to get fixed and then the front office staff tell you that you're responsible to replace things like light bulbs and other utilities. That's not true. It's your job to maintain the property and fix issues. I can replace a fire alarm battery , but everything else they need to fix or keep up to date. They need to hire more maintenance workers for the price you pay every month on top of always increasing rent every year for no reason at all. Price gouging with no improvements to the property or quality of life is embarrassing.

These apartments are going down hill so fast. They were great at first but maintenance is a joke they have taken months to fix a simple task. Don't recommend moving here unless you want destruction of your own property they put a damn sticker on my car because I accidentally parked over the line and left sticker shit all over my window. This place doesn't care about you they just want your money. This apartment complex is so sorry and such a joke. They don't even deserve one star. Also they tried to bribe me with a 10$ target gift card to give them a good review.

This place is terrible. Poor communication and management. The gate has been broken for almost a year. The equipment in the gym are old and broke, never fix it. They don't mow the grass. They charge you for trash valet but they don't pickup it up. The suddenly add another charge the monthly payment without notice. Maintenance issues all the time always tell you maintenance guy is not available. The AC is not working, when I called the office the said the AC personal is only comes in a specific day in the week. Which means if your AC stopped working on a different day you're on your own deal with the heat. I can't wait for my lease contract to end. Stay away you're gonna waist your money, and you'll regret it.
