Finally open! I got to try Okay Maguey after waiting for what felt like forever. The service was great and all the staff were friendly. Walked in and was greeted instantly with a smile and a "hello!"The food was good. It wasn't great, but it was good; not a bad thing! The decorations were also fun. My only complaint is this doesn't feel like a sit-down restaurant. It seems like it is meant to be a fast causal diner, but it is what it is.Overall, Okay Maguey was okay, but there is definitely better options out there.

Place was not busy at all. Took over 30 minutes to get 3 tacos. Tacos were ok. There's better for the price elsewhere. The esquites street corn was absolutely offensive. It was can corn floating in milk. One bite and couldn't have another. Kind of gross. I couldn't be more disappointed. Sent it back and they didn't have the decency to remove it from the bill. The waitress was obviously very new so I'll give her a pass. But it was very rough service. The wait for food was ridiculous. We ordered 3 tacos each. While we were waiting, a group of guys came in that were friends of the kitchen staff. They sat down, ordered and got their food about 15 minutes before us. Clearly, they pushed our order to the back to take care of their buddies and it was very evident. This place is a definite skip.

This spot is so cute! I LOVED the ambiance and the decor!! The food was generally yummy! I LOVED the elote (a must order). My husband enjoyed his burrito. The ceviche was okay- my tostadas seemed a bit stale and the portions are SMALL. But overall we enjoyed this spot and loved the vibes :)

I recently dined at this taco place, which offers a sit-down experience, but both the service and food felt more like fast-casual quality. The tacos were decent but not exceptional, and the service was functional rather than attentive. It's a fine choice if you're in the mood for a quick, casual bite, but it might not deliver the full sit-down dining experience you're looking for.

We stopped in as we were excited to see it was open. The inside is darling and the service was wonderful. Met one of the owners - he came out and talked to us about the menu and gave wonderful recommendations. The blackberry margaritas were the perfect margaritas...a touch of sweet and a touch of tangy and so pretty. My only complaint was the glass was small and there was a lot of ice. I wanted more margarita! The queso was delicious too. I was glad he prepared me letting us know it was authentic, not melted fake cheese. We tried the Al Pastor, Del Mojo de Ajo, chuleta Al Cocina, gobernador, and NY Maguey tacos. They are in order of preference. The AL Pastor was a group favorite!

This place is fantastic! It opened 2 months ago. Clean, bright, open kitchen concept. The drinks are perfect (spicy Margarita) but best of all the food is delicious: fresh with high quality ingredients. We had the Gobernador taco to start with and immediately had to have another one. This was followed by the Cochinita taco and Huarache Maguey. The service was great as well. I look forward to coming back...tomorrow!

I'm going to chalk up the bad reviews to growing pains. It's practically in our back yard so we have watched it painfully trying to open since pre-Covid. I was skeptical but my foodie husband wanted to check it out.We loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I was surprised that it was a sit down dining experience since I expected it to be more along the lines of chipotle. However, it exceeded our expectations. My only recommendation would be to have the artist who painted Frida Kahlo come back and complete her unibrow. Frida would be offended and others might be too.

So many awesome FLAVORS. Bomb.com and affordable. $3-5 tacos. Quick lunch, sit down, or belly up to the bar. Definitely adding Okay Maguey to the PV restaurant rotation. Clean. Fun atmosphere. Try it out. You will be happy, Okay.
