Went this past Friday with the family for my dad's birthday. I got the gangster roll, the Hawaiian roll, and yellow tail sashimi. The waiter was really nice and checked in often. I have been here a few times in the past and it kind of fell off for awhile. Looks like it's again heading in the right direction. I will be going back.

Greeted immediately when walked in. Beautiful and clean inside. It's not too dark , perfect lighting. Went during dinner the first time. First round was delicious. Second round of some of the repeated order was okay, lack some flavors like the stir fry noodles. Yellow tail with jalapeño wasn't my fave here , it was a bit fishy. But everything else was great. Love that there's sashimi option for dinner time and dessert options ! Lunch , sashimi isn't included. But I normally just eat salmon so the salmon tataki was perfect ! Salmon sashimi with some type of sauce over it. Overall recommend!

Don't skip the lunch menu here. You can get a giant meal for under $20. It'll last for 2 meals, effectively making each meal less than $10. I think the lunch menu is only M-F but it's never too busy during lunch, service is nice and the food is great. I usually just get water with lemon bc I really like to taste all of my food. So no beverage was counted in the cost. After tip it was over $20. I was absolutely starving when I was here but left so full with extra food for another meal. They have a few TVs on, so even if you go by yourself and forgot your phone, you're not just eating quickly and leaving. As far as the food goes: Miso soup- pretty standard as all miso soup is pretty similar. Spicy crab roll - it wasn't mostly rice, so that's always good. I think they may have changed either the sushi rice recipe or the actual rice as it was different than I remember here but it was still pretty good. I could have had it spicier though. I used *all* of the wasabi & they now use "Melinda's sriracha" which is also different. Most sriracha fans know about the shortage though. Chicken katsu- decent but it was pretty basic. I think their pork katsu has better flavor. I wanted to try something different this time, but if you're having trouble deciding, the pork is better in my opinion. Teriyaki beef- so so so good. The beef is always tender and flavorful. It's really my favorite place to get beef teriyaki and I don't go anywhere else for it. Korean sides- yum. Really that one word suffices. You get different kinds of sides, but kimchi is always one of them. It's always delicious here. The spring roll they include tastes like a standard frozen veggie spring roll but it doesn't bother me. There are karaoke rooms too, so karaoke isn't limited to the east side. When I was here there were not that many patrons, but seemed like quite a few to-go orders. Keep this place busy so it never closes.

This place is so yum and one of my favorite places! The quality of food is something you can taste. I've never had anything taste bad here! They've definitely gotten new staff so the vibe is different than it used to be, unsure if it's good or bad yet. I am a returning customer and this spot so far my favorite sushi place.

It started off good. Food was nice, good presentation, tasty. Then my friend let me know there was a roach on my hand. I shook it off and under the table there were two more. I was so disgusted I couldn't even sit back down as I am totally freaked out by roaches. I didn't make a scene and I quietly told the server. She tried toake it right but noanager was to be found and they couldn't comp the meal. So I left paying full price and didn't even finish my meal. I didn't ask for a refund but I most certainly should have gotten one. Unfortunately I will never go back because the way it was handled. Thumbs down, health department has been notified. Sorry not sorry.

We came on a Saturday night and we were seated right away. The food also came out fairly quick. We ordered gyozas, egg rolls and rice cakes as our appetizers. All of them were meh, not awful but not great. The fried rice and the lollipop roll were our favorites. The menu has a variety of different options which is a reason to come back alone. The big negative about this place is it's dirty, our wasabi had a piece of hair and the their was trash under our table.
