Best Mexican food in the valley. Fresh ingredients and excellent chef. The manager knows mezcal like know one else. Ask for a mezcal flight and you will have your mind blown at the amazing offerings.

Having dined at Ofrenda several times now I can say this is IMO the best mexican cuisine in Cave Creek and generally beats anything else in the far north Scottsdale area as well. This is elevated mexican, so don't come here expecting to find cheap greasy tacos and burritos. Great margs and thus far everything I have tried on the menu has been fantastic. Service is generally pretty good, and live music is always entertaining.

Enjoyed a delightful dinner and drinks at a beautiful restaurant on Friday night with my bestie. The ambiance was enhanced by live music, adding a lovely touch to our dining experience. While the service was excellent, the server's attentiveness, though commendable, might have been a tad excessive, checking in with us around 10 times. Nonetheless, the venue's layout, high ceilings, and overall vibe contributed to a fantastic evening.

Started off with a nice greeting at the door and friendly service. They do a nice job with their margaritas and they were well priced. The street tacos are very good and so was the shrimp relleno. The guacamole was good but nothing to get excited overalthough the portion is large enough for 4-6 people for sure. We did not care for the Toritos appetizer which are peppers stuffed with tiny shrimp and bacon. Sounded delicious on the menu but after trying one we left the other 2. All in all we are glad we gave it a try but nothing special to make it a place you want to return to anytime soon.

Reviewed after 5 visits over 2 years. Great place if you are looking for a definite upgrade from Spoted Donkey or El Encanto. Apps (queso is bomb!), drinks and entrees are all solid and similar to what you would expect from higher-end Mexico City restaurants. Salsas and sauces are fresh, unique and tasty. Staff is friendly, attentive and know the menu. The place suffers from its off the street location, but on a crowded night the vibe is great and the service has always kept up. I don't understand the clothing racks at the entrance other than to surmise that they are trying to generate some extra revenue from the tourist types or showcase some local talent. I think they should move it to the North part of the building and not have it right at the entrance becuase it takes away from the quality restaurant feel and forces a bit of Cracker Barrel gift shop feel.

This was 10/10!! We loved our food we ordered the chips & guac which was very fresh. Then we got the Molcajete Para Dos that I added a picture of. The flavor was unreal & filling for two! Came with rice & beans as well.

tried this place after we attended a cinco de mayo party there. we ordered enchiladas and three tacos. I had a margarita and my date had a margy sans alcohol. the enchiladas cam dated in a blood red sauce that smelled and tasted exactly like ketchup. the enchiladas were dry, even Bathed in the "sauce", and were quite tasteless. the tacos were very small and the chicken was ok, but nothing notable. I ordered a shot of house tequila to add to my margarita, as it tasted like it had a minimal amount of tequila in it. we ere horrified to get the bill, in which they charged us fifteen dollars for one shot of house tequila! this on top of an exorbitant price.mwill not return nor will we recommend! no wonder the place was sparsely attended!

Entire bar yet they cannot make anything that's not a maragarita. I asked for a Tom Collins and the bartender asked me how to make it. I showed him pictures of other reviews with a lemon drop. He offered to TRY to make one and it was the most awful drink I've ever had! Food came out scary quick which made me think it was just sitting under a heat lamp waiting to be ordered. It was our anniversary dinner. We made a reservation where my husband specifically told them it was our anniversary. Not even a dessert menu was offered ... we legitimately had better drinks/service at the local dive bar a few doors down! Avoid!
