Offshore Rooftop

Loved, loved, loved this experience.In all honesty, we we concerned about this being a Chicago "tourist trap" since it is at the Navy Pier.It is everything but. It was such a great way to take in the lake view while listening to the music from the love band on the pier.From the drinks to the views, our experience was outstanding. I can't remember our bartender's name, but she was amazing. I can tell you that she and her BROTHER were the bartenders for the day; and, she was hilarious and attentive while he was super focused and clearly wanted to "do a good job".We had a Paloma, which ended up being one of the better ones that we'd had on our visit, RedBull/tequila, and a beer. We also tried their queso, which was surprisingly good (we're Texans, so we are natural queso snobs... lol).If you're at Navy Pier, make this a stop because it was the perfect way for us to wrap up a great day at the Pier.

My cousin and I came here as we were SO excited for the roof top vibes. We walked in and it was so pretty. We were able to sit down immediately and our service was good. Our waitress was accommodating and helpful. We order d the fries, Caesar salad, and steak. I was so disappointed in the food sadly. It was just horrible. The Caesar salad was overly wet with dressing, the fries were soggy with sauce poured on it, and the steak did not have seasoning. Normally sauce is on the side so we were confused at that. My cousin ordered a lemon drop and her drink was good! All in all, this is a great place to come for drinks!!!!!!

Initially checked out the menu online and was excited with the happy hour menu. Came to find out it was the "summer menu" and now it's a quarter of the food they offered. Service was really good but server has to much of a big area and that made it slow. Good it self was amazing. And the place was giving Miami vibes. Would recommend but be patient on staff.

Vibes in here are amazing!!! The open floor plan with all of the windows makes for the absolute best ambiance! This is the perfect spot for brunch and I can't wait to come back for the food. Service behind the bar was amazing and the cocktails were made well. We enjoyed our visit and can't wait to come back!

I loved the ambiance and the one thing that Chicago does well is rooftops. It is perfect for a date or brunch which is why we were there, my daughters birthday. I loved the food, ambiance but if you have picky kids this may not be the best place as their menu is not vast.However it is great for brunch and the views are amazing.

Really great to come here for cocktail hour and an app! The service was absolutely amazing and we got seated very quickly! It has an amazing patio that overlooks the lake and the chicago skyline! I will definitely be coming back!

The views are great, and that's really the focal point. Since it's a decent walk from the front of Navy Pier, it's not very busy, so you often don't need a reservation. I haven't had the food, but the service was great and friendly. Looking forward to warmer weather when I can bring visitors.

I went here for the first time I wanna say 3 years ago, and have been here a few times since! Offshore is the type of place you want to take your out-of-town friends to; it's located deep in Navy Pier which is a great tourist attraction, it's one of the biggest rooftops ever, and it's so dang pretty with its natural lighting and spacious lighting you already know you'll take some fire photos here.The food here is *chef's kiss*. I love their sushi which I was surprised about consisting this isn't a Japanese restaurant, but boy was it delicious! I also loved their mac and cheese bites, mezze board, parmesan truffle fries, and spicy tuna roll. They have tonsssss of indoor and outdoor seating with all the views. I've sat inside and outside before; I think I recommend outside more if it's not too hot of weather that day. But nonetheless, the natural lighting is immaculate inside. The service is great, too; the bartenders and servers definitely know what they're doing! Such an awesome staff every time I come. I haven't gone to their happy hour or brunch yet, but that's next on my list! I'll definitely be back.

I came here for an event - and while I don't usually go to Navy Pier (moreso because I live in Chicago so less likely to go to some of the major tourist spots), I will 100% go back just to come here. First, I didn't even know Navy Pier had this amazing rooftop restaurant/bar, let alone one that holds a world record! The views are just dreamy and you feel worlds away from the touristy sights of Navy Pier. I see why this is a coveted event space. I can't wait to come back during winter too ... the rooftop has a sort of greenhouse indoor structure; I can just imagine how gorgeous it's gotta be during the winter when you're nice and warm inside but see everything outside. Sort of like being in a snowglobe. Second, the drinks - oh my goodness, the bar tenders are amazing mixologists. They had all sorts of recommendations and concoctions, something for everyone for sure. Third, the food - chefs kiss! Everything I had was just some well. But the HUGE standout was the Offshore team - especially Abe! Abe made sure we never went hungry, was so attentive and friendly and hilarious - I would literally go back to Offshore and specifically ask to sit in his section. Thank you Abe for elevating our experience - you made a grade A night into an A+++++!I can't wait to come back to try their brunch. If it is even half as good as what we had, I'll leave yet another full and happy soul.

Too loud and poor service. The host was scolding people in line for not standing in the right place and it took a long time to get a table on a Sunday afternoon without reservations. Visiting from out of town and wanted to experience this unique location. The space was not open to the outside so the music was obnoxious and loud. It seemed to be a lot of hype. 35 minutes and counting for a server from when we were told to wait a minute.
