Blown away by the assortment in this shop...and it's cleanliness! It was really clean! Really really clean and let's be honest, that's what you want when you walk into a place like this! Everyone needs a good butcher in their life and THIS MAY BE THE TOP WEST VALLEY spot. Chicken, pork, beef, wagyu, seafood, sausages, spices and sauces. They even have knife sharpening opportunities and grill classes! The butchers were super friendly. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is because I wasn't in a place to buy and try. I just drove by after a nearby appointment and had to pop in. So glad I did and can't wait to stop by and try for our next BBQ!

We are new to the area and had an amazing butcher shop back home in Missouri. We found Off the hook when we first moved to the area back in May. Since then we have bought meat there 3 times and each time the meat has been delicious. We are hooked.

Wow. We came here today and picked up two ribeyes and some asparagus. Now, it wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny. Those ribeyes had intramuscluar marbling that you won't even see on the USDA Primes at AJ's, and the asparagus has tight purple-blue tips that looked like they were ready for a night on the town. And the selection... wow. They have stuff here that you absolutey cannot get anywhere else. And I'm not going to tell you what they have that you can't get anywhere else, because then y'all will start buying it and I won't be able to get any. So you'll just have to do some homework. But seriously- come here and buy a ton of stuff. And help me to convince them to open a sister store south of the 10.

Great quality cuts at great value. I've been a few times now and all the beef I've picked up has been excellent.

This place is awesome. Anything you could want, they have. It's perfect for every meal. Breakfast lunch or dinner. We love this place!! It's got amazing food amazing service and amazing atmosphere. Try everything because you will not be disappointed by anything. I love the attention you get from everyone plus the perfect flavors in every bite. You have to try it I highly recommend it!!!!

If you like quality meat and great customer service.. This is the place for you. If you do Prime Rib this is the place. If you want to start simple, try the Game Changer burgers. Warning !! Once you try them you will be On The Hook. All jokes aside this is a great butcher and the service is amazing! Must try.

We have purchased a number of different cuts and believe me, they have all been excellent! Someone recommended the boneless chicken breasts, and now we will never buy chicken breasts anywhere else. They are absolutely perfect. We have also tried some of the marinades and they are also great. We have had a couple of let-downs though. We bought frozen shrimp and they were terrible (mushy). We also picked up a couple of ears of corn. They were tough and lacked flavor. I think they would be better to focus on what they are good at, and perhaps not try to carry so many items. I get that they may be trying to pick up extra sales by having complementary items on hand, but they should really just stick to what they are best at - THE MEAT!!!

Great service and a large selection of meats and wursts. I was looking for veal to make veal parmigiana and they had it.Lots of other things in the counter like marinaded scallops etc.Hard to find but worth the search.

Makes the Omaha Beef Co (or any other market in the greater Phoenix area) pale in comparison. Just went in for two beef tenderloins for Christmas Eve. There was a younger gentleman who I was reluctant to trust initially, but he helped me pick the best (from the BEST) and then told me how to store the steaks because I was buying them a little bit early to avoid the rush. Best steaks ever. Trust me. I grew up in NE. And I know great when I taste it. You won't be disappointed.
