We're new to Phoenix, and we lucked out with this great find for brunch. The menu, service, and choice of seating were perfect for Saturday brunch. We will be back!

Service was excellent. No lingering here with the staff they were working hard making sure everything was perfect The big negative was the table placement. This is not a fast food type restaurant so I really don't want to be part of the conversations of the diners on either side of me. Started with the Balsamic strawberries herbed ricotta. The strawberries were AMAZING. I could have eaten just a those in a bowl. More ricotta would have been nice. We had the buttermilk pork chop and the pappardelle with beef Ragu sauceBoth were excellent. The ragu was sublime. There was a little heat in the sauce which was so good. My chief complaint with this dish was the really small bowl it was served in. Made it really hard to maneuver the food. The bread was perched in a precarious manner on the edge of the bowlThe pork chop was tender. Delightful combination with the apple. Once more the size of the bowl/plate and maneuvering the chop to cut was an issue. The meal was so good and the anticipation of the dessert menu was pretty high. When I saw the menu I thudded to earth pretty quickly. There was the ubiquitous flourless chocolate cake or lemon blueberry cake. I am sure both would have been nice, but after such a great meal the dessert selection was sad

Quiet Nights 8:45 PM on a Friday. Maybe it's the closing time 10 PM. Or perhaps the walls hold tales of clandestine rendezvous. Shhh... The parking lot may be small, but it's like a hidden gem--a cozy nook where cars snuggle up like old friends. Service:Ah, Zach--the enigmatic server/bartender. His pace? Slower than a sloth on a Sunday morning. His friendliness? About as warm as a frozen pizza. Zach, is like the 1995 DMV worker, navigating the labyrinth of drink orders. But fear not!Because the Bartender Assistant the Politeness Personifiedthe James Bond of bartenders--shaken, not stirred. he was nice and helpful. Curious about prime ribs? Ask away! Our bartender assistant tells us the secrets of the fridge. And guess what? Cold dry prime rib. And He's all ears for our genius idea: email notifications when prime ribs grace the menu. Menu: Decent, but not a symphony of choices. It's like a minimalist art exhibit--bold strokes, but you crave more canvases. I got the Eggplant Balls and Polenta: The polenta? A symphony of yumminess--like a jazz band jamming in your mouth. The balls? Good, perhaps a tad extra crunchy. Minty Lemonade: A Refreshing DisappointmentHold your horses! The $5 minty lemonade arrives. But where's the fanfare? No lemon slide, no mint leaf. Café Rio and Habit Burger lemonade laugh in the face of this version.

After several more visits, Ocotillo has become one of our favorite spots and well worth a 5 star rating. It's a lovely place to spend a weekend morning enjoying tasty food in the gorgeous courtyard. This is truly a gem and I envy those that live in the neighborhood! Our favorites are the charred sweet potato, eggplant meatballs, and burrata salad with wine poached pear. I'm not even a big sweet potato fan, but it's really delicious and super creamy. The poached pear and burrata salad also has this delicious whipped goat cheese. The eggplant meatballs are so good and filling. They have a nice cocktail menu as well. On this last visit we opted for the Garden's Apple and Hibiscus Haze mocktails, which were crafted with as much care as the alcoholic drinks. I preferred the slightly sweeter Garden's Apple over the other, but both were good!

Disappointed. Walked here only to find this sign. We had called several times earlier today and it rang and then had a message saying the restaurant was open. Would highly recommend they change their voicemail so others don't drive or walk here to find the establishment is closed. Didn't get to try the food or see inside but it does look like a nice environment with good options.

My family and I had such a great brunch at Ocotillo. The service was the real star here! Our server was so friendly and funny and we weren't rushed at all. The space is really big - we sat in the dining area behind the host stand and it was super bright and sunny with comfy seating. The food was good! Not great but still tasty. My favorite thing we got was actually the endive salad. It was fantastic! We also got the breakfast chimichanga (good), smoked brisket (really good), a side of bacon (floppy), and brussels sprouts (meh). I've also had their fries before and they are to die for. My aunt got the eggplant meatballs to go and said they were so amazing as well. The menu is diverse with a mix of healthy and indulgent options - there is something for everyone. I do think the prices are a bit high for what you get, but I'd gladly pay for the salad and fries again any day.

Went here on a whim, during resturant week! We didn't get the special but decided to try a few things. Everything we had was amazing including the drinks! Such a good spot for a date or to grab food with friends. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very nice and knowledgeable!

Great service, ambience, food, and drinks. This place checks all the boxes. The chicken was surprisingly good, super tender, moist, and flavorful. The brisket platter was also amazing with great flavor, cooked to perfect temperature yet juicy, though it is a bit on the pricey side. The brisket platter also comes with a ton of sides, including 2 corn on the cob and potatoes. We hadThe cocktails were also great. We ordered 3 cocktails ( sorry don't remember what they were, but they were all citrusy) and the blueberry beer. All four drinks were very well balanced in terms of amount of alcohol yet not too much to overpower the drink. The blueberry beer was delicious. The server was extremely funny, friendly, and attentive, with excellent recommendations both on what is popular and what his preferences are. I would absolutely come back and this is a perfect date spot.

Met up with some friends for dinner at Ocotillo, I have been a few times and love coming back! For dinner we sat inside, but Ocotillo has an amazing outdoor eating area on a beautiful lighted patio/backyard area, even a bar outside.I started my meal with a cocktail and for my main I had a homemade pasta dish with a meaty sauce. The cocktail was the perfect way to begin this meal. The pasta dish was filling and full of flavor, it also came with toasted Noble bread. I also got to try one of the ribs my friend order and man those were so dang good. Although I was perfectly pleased with my meal, I had plate envy haha. If looking for a great place a date night or night out go give Ocotillo a try!

After reading reviews of places to eat I am so glad I made it out to Ocotillo. Not being from the area the space is really unassuming as you drive up but as you walk through the entryway I loved the outdoor seating and bar area. It wasn't open the night I came but I can see it being a really awesome space to enjoy on a nice day. Walking through the tree walkway to the actual restaurant I was also impressed with the ambiance and decor of the indoor space. They even have a covered patio area separate from the larger outdoor space. As for what to get... I must say I probably ordered way too much but there were so many options on the menu to try. I will say the portions were pretty large in my opinion so you can definitely share the larger entrees as I took a lot for leftovers. What I tried + Bucatini+ Tempura + Beef Ribs + Ahi TunaTheir ribs are what they are known for and they are a must try. The mole sauce was yum! Definitely not your usual ribs so a great option to get. The ahi tuna was a nice option to get to balance out the savoriness of the ribs. Whenever I see bucatini on the menu I get it since it's not a standard option for pastas. It was pretty standard though so I would recommend trying other options next time. The tempura artichokes and sunchokes were a nice appetizer to get also but might opt to try something else next time. Overall, I really enjoyed dinner here with the space, service, and food. I can see why it's a top spot for dates or celebrations.
