My family and I decided to go here for my bday dinner on Tuesday because we wanted something local and we're craving fish tacos so we decided to go local instead of our usual spot and since this place closed until 9pm we came here to check it out. The food was amazing and fresh BUT I did have to give a 4 star overall and 3 star in service because since we got there our waitress did appear to be in a bit of a bad mood when asking her questions about menu/happy hr/taco Tuesday was very short answered and would walk off.. when one of my family members asked if she was ok because she appeared she was in a bad mood she said she was ok (but her body language and tone seem to say otherwise) that they were just extremely understaffed and very busy.. in conclusion, the waitress still brought a bday dessert but was still having a bad day and it showed.. just want to remain optimistic that next time we'll have a different waitress/service experience.Now focusing on the food we had really fresh oysters, fish tacos, shared a spicy shrimp/octopus and shared a sushi roll. Everything was really really good totally recommend for the food. And hoping I can give a better review on the service next time..

I saw this place get built and wondered if it was going to be good or not. Well the wait is over.... This place is the best in Bonita!!!! On our first visit we had the Carne Asada fries and the Green Aguachile Ceviche. Man this was a great decision! Both items came out perfect!!! The carne asada fries were an appetizer, but I couldn't tell cuz they are pretty good size serving. The Aguachile came out and it was all nicely plated and smelled great, then I took the spoon and destroyed the little beautiful pyramid of purple onion, rábano, cucumber, and fish. There was other things but I stopped looking cuz my mouth was drooling and had to start eating immediately! I put the fish on my tostada and it became one with my body. I paired it with a cold Hazy IPA. Everything got quiet and I forgot where I was for a bit because my lady started waving her hand in my face to wake me up from my cuisine wet dream. Once she got my attention I looked down at my plate and all my food was gone. I ate all the ceviche and I didn't even realize it. I considered ordering another bit I was actually full. I took a picture of an empty bowl because I needed to share that this dish was worth it, even if it's empty. My daughter really liked the horchata. She said it tasted better than the one from the place on the corner. I gave it a taste and yes, it was for sure fresh and not that powder garbage. The fajitas are next level. Usually at other places you get the sizzling Smokey show and it's usually all vegetables and little bit of meat, not here! I got 90% protein and 10% veggies. Perfect ratio for me. It was hot is was great tasting and accompanied by 4 flour tortillas and this habanero sauce that was hot ASF but delicious!!! Bruh! If you're not eating here at their happy hour - you're just a loser!

This restaurant should be ashamed of themselves. My wife and I both ordered a Campechano Cocktail. The waiter said it comes with shrimp, octopus and scallops. As we began to eat our cocktail we realized it didn't have scallops. We informed the waiter. He came back to our table about fifteen minutes later and informed us that the kitchen "supposedly" put scallops in the cocktail. He said they would give us a discount. We didn't want a discount, we wanted our scallops. They gave us a discount of $8 off a $19 cocktail. The cocktail tasted like tomato sauce. We have never experienced a seafood cocktail that tasted so bad.

First time dining here and we sat outside. My friends were already seated when I arrived and said they prefer the covered patio. The ground was uneven and you have to be careful when moving around. The server was friendly and for a while was the only one serving the patio. We started with the #CarneAsadaChips which was very tasty with plenty of grilled carne asada I ordered two #OysterShots which came on top of a glass filled with what tasted like a Bloody Mary mix. Thumbs up for me as the price was right at 2 for $6. For my entree I ordered the #OceanosTostada. It had plenty of octopus which was what I wanted the most and it was tender. I noticed the shrimp and avocado next but didn't see much of the scallops or tuna. It was covered in a black sauce which I am assuming is squid ink? If someone could confirm that would be great The tostada was crispy even though it was quite covered but small and I asked for chips to help finish this entree. I found this tostada to be delicious There wasn't much of a choice for dessert but #ChurrosWithIceCream was perfect for us. It was doused with blueberries coulis and the churros was filled with blueberry or some kind of berry on top of a small scoop of ice cream. I think the menu or server should mention the berries but for us it wouldn't have mattered it would just be good to know. I would come back

This place is one of our faves. We love that they also have a sushi chef on site. The fish and shrimp tacos are always delicious. Chips and salsa for the table is so yummy. The customer service is always great. There are a few of the comfortable booth/table side seats, which are great. The space is smaller and quaint. Inside fits maybe 30 dining and outside patio about the same. It is a very nice place. There are some really great design elements. The restroom is BEAUTIFUL.They gave EXCELLENT TACO TUESDAYS here. We always order the Fish Taco, even when it is not Taco Tuesday because it is so good! I recommend getting one, even if you order something else as your main.The beer selection on tap is good, lots if great Mexican Beers. They have a full bar too so they can make Micheladas, Margaritas, Palomas, etc..

A friend of mine and I stopped here thinking we would get some sushi but no, they don't serve that until 12:30 PM. We ordered fajitas, chicken fajitas. They were just less than average. I would not eat here again under any circumstances. It's a waste of money and it wasn't cheap. It was a very big disappointment.

First time here. The gentleman server we had was awesome! I picked the Bonita Poke...meh! Next time, Tuna Poke instead. The sushi rolls were good.

They really get the third star just for the fish taco... And at happy hour two dollars is a steal. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday two until 6 PM. We also got a 16 ounce beer for four dollars on happy hour so that's also a pretty good deal. My issue is I wasn't wild about the ambience. Even though the patio is cute with all of the greenery you are really just looking into a parking lot full of cars. We were also extremely disappointed in the Oceanos tostada. Apparently this is now the one that used to be the Negro tostada. I'm not sure if the black sauce is supposed to be squid ink, but it didn't add any value, and it made it very unappetizing. We did not even finish this one and it's $16. The Birria, adobo, Asada and Carnitas tacos were all priced at three dollars for happy hour. They were really dry and we noticed there was no salsa. When we inquired about getting some salsa, our server provided it. There were also no chips and salsa that were offered to us and I noticed on the yelp reviews, some people said that they were complementary.Again the fish taco was very tasty and at two dollars I would definitely come back! We also tried the eel Nigiri, and at five dollars on happy hour that was priced well and pretty good. Maybe we caught them on an off day with the other tacos? Will definitely be asking for salsa upfront next time.

Love the food here! Stopped in for a quick snack - waiters are very attentive and check on you frequently. Nice clean environment and they have a patio where you can bring your dog.
