Ocean View Bar and Grill

Excellent Food i had the Eggs Benedict service was fast and friendly. Ian has a friendly un assuming demeanor - ambiance what a viewI found this location quite by accident. I was doing a real estate caravan and this is where they meet so thank you DAR for helping me find a new hunt to visit.

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo Del Mar, we're the grill is located inside. I had reserved the room with breakfast vouchers which turned out a bit different than I thought. We woke up early during our stay and made it to breakfast without worry. Food itself was good no complaints, or raves but had no problems and is convenient if you're staying in the hotel. Otherwise I do think there are a lot of other good restaurants in the area to try for breakfast as well. Our breakfast vouchers covered the meal but didn't cover the taxes which I found odd. Other places it's all covered and you just have to make sure to leave a tip but whatever. Our servers for all the days were all very nice & offered great service!

My first time at the place and I loved the food and great fun service. It's a neighborhood vibe with a ton of great dishes and phenomenal Brussels spouts

I'll leave 3 stars based on the views and the workers and that we love the hotel. Our waiter was super nice and the bartender was awesome the food however was pretty terrible. I would recommended eating somewhere else but good place to have drinks.

Drinks, sunset and brussel sprouts... beverages, atmosphere, and staff were lovely. Food menu is not that extensive and we chose not to eat dinner there.

Breakfast food we got is pretty good but it would be nice if the hours it says you are open was fixed.. I went over at 10:55AM to grab a coffee and some jelly for my toast and they were already closed. My friend had just brought back the food within the hour so I thought they would at least be open till 11AM. Maybe I just missed him, I'm not sure. I know the nice lady at the front had said they are open only breakfast and dinner but I'm just really confused on what hours that pertains to and it says on here ur open all day.

Sweet bar inside Hotel Indigo! *Ocean View Bar & Grill* is a wonderful bar to check out when staying at this hotel in Del Mar. Upon checking into this hotel this bar is located immediately to the right near the entrance. The inside has a nice ambiance and cute decor. The bar has open entry overlooking the outdoor patio with a nice view of the inside center of the hotel, pool, and a view of the ocean. This place was not that busy the Saturday early evening I came by as it is probably mainly just hotel guests here. I had a margarita which was made well and refreshing to enjoy outside. The bartenders offer good service. Overall, this bar/restaurant is a good option for hanging out and catching the sunset with some bites and drinks.

What an awesome restaurant. Attached to the Indigo Hotel, this beautiful little bar and grill serves up some of the some delicious food I've had while at a hotel. I took advantage of the Yelp Check-In offer while I was here and got the mediterranean flatbread pizza... get this only if you LOVE LOVE LOVE olives!! I also go the kale salad with a side of salmon. Delicious food and the kale wasn't over powering. Great views of the ocean. Easy to find and parking is free. Double check the events calendar because there may even be some live music going on too!

Santana, one of the bartenders, completely made our experience. We would honestly come back to visit just from out of town to see him. Amazing service and food recommendations. The view and live music are a huge plus as well!

Not sure what's worse. The food or the food. Oh wait... it's the food. Seriously... ugh! 1. Kitchen says it closes at 9. 8pm order a bottle of wine. Never are we visited again. 8:40 I get up and ask what time the kitchen closes because... we'll her we are staying here and want to eat dinner... Quote "oh the kitchen closed because well we were out of things. Also it was last call". Don't you go table to table and ask if anyone needs/wants anything before you close? Asking for a friend. 2. Agrees to "put in a last minute order" but here are your only choices. We agree to our only choices... asada tacos are requested with no aioli. Come drenched in aioli. Bring them back with only cold stale tortillas. 3. Our waiter is seriously awesome. So lovely so nice. Feels like he's not in control but doing his amazing best to make it a great night. I super appreciate him. A smile and kindness makes it better. I could go on but I'm bored. Nightmare. Eat food somewhere. Worst hotel restaurant Eva!
