As we are always looking to try new things, and with a Caribbean cruise coming up, decided to try this Jamaican cuisine. Walking in the place was super quiet and only 1 other person here. Don't let that fool you. By the time we were leaving the place was near capacity! The decor really gives it that tiki island vibe. The bartender/waitress, although getting busy, stayed right on top of things! The drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic were very tasty. I definitely recommend the Rum Punch. The curry goat was amazing! If you get the chance take it!

First time I have been to Ocean Blue Caribbean Restaurant, and I was somewhat disappointed. The few good points about my dinning experience was how refreshing the mango ginger drink was. I'm such a huge fan of ginger and mango, and that combination was impeccable. The beef patties were really tasty, the crust was flakey and the beef was well seasoned. I have had better curry goat from other restaurants, this restaurant wasn't as tasteful compared like others. Another aspect of the dining that was very off putting was the wait time. We waited more than an hour to get our food, and I noticed a customer with a carry out order waited 45 mins in the restaurant to get their food. The whole long waiting experience really kills the appetite, they need to work on that. I did like how clean the restaurant, and welcoming the staff were to the customers.

Came with friends to celebrate a birthday and had a great time. My salmon burger was sooooooo good, my fries were fairly greasy but still edible. There was a sweet glaze on my salmon that set it over the top. I could go on about how good it was but you need to try it! I also had a rum punch that was good and strong. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks and the overall vibe of the restaurant. I will definitely be back for another burger and drinks. Highly recommended

Ordered the tacos to get a range of items. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. The jerk chicken was delightful. I was a little disappointed the tacos were served with what appeared to be a tossed salad base instead of the menu advertised, and traditional cabbage, but I would still come back here. Table shared wings. My table mates ordered the oxtail (it was amazing)! The smoky heat, fall off the bone... so flavorful and comforting over perfectly cooked rice.Service was a little slow at first as was the delivery of the food but they do have a help wanted sign in the window and had a rash of to go orders when we arrived.Also, you can't rush perfection like oxtail. They made it up to us by comping one of our apps.The ambiance was lovely. The music was not overwhelming and conversation could be had. I was the soul non-melanin body in the joint. If this gives any points or stars that I, as a white woman, simply cannot.

I hadn't had any Jamaican food in years until someone recommended this place. I ordered the brown stew chicken, bone in with rice n peas and steamed cabbage. Well, it felt and tasted like heaven. My mother would make this meal most weekends and I loved it. The taste, the flavors and textures brought back memories and made the meal feel like home. I will definitely be back and this will be my go to place when family comes to town.
